What do you mean? There is a plethora of audio apps out there for Android to listen to audio files. There's Rocket Music Player, Apollo, Shuttle Music Player, just to name a few. Are you trying to use a specific app now? If so, which one? And what kind of audio file are you trying to play?

You need to download the correct codecs for PC.

And where can we find those?
Don't say install Apple Quicktime
/E
Try Shark007 codecs or just install VLC.
quick time indeed works, but vlc will not play sound. Any 3gp converter will probably work as well

[Q] No sound on Video Player on CM9

Hi
I have updated my Touchpad to the newest nightly from 06-05-12 nightly because I was getting no sound on any of the media players that I downloaded. I do have sound on the Webos side with that media player, but not on the android. Did I miss a download somewhere and is there a fix?
Thank you.

There's a free app in Google play, audio something, that has many settings. I don't have sound problems, but I've read that this app helped some. Good luck.

Problems with MKV files on Fire 7 5th Gen

I'm having problems playing MKV files on my 5th Gen Fire 7 using a custom rom (the excellent "nexus" rom featured elsewhere on these boards). On VLC and ES Media player I just get a black screen with perfect audio. Using MX player with the ARMv7 codec I get video but it's badly out of synch with the audio. The thing I find odd is that I VLC for windows and the EX Media player on my Galaxy s7 both play the same files with no problem. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Jonny

No problem with MKV playback w/standard VLC v2.0.6 on a slightly tuned 5th gen Fire running the latest Nexus build. Really depends on encoding as these pups don't have much horsepower. Try snagging a few test vids to see if they play. I had no problem with the 3D samples.
