I don't know what I am doing wrong but when I am on sense ROMS, viper4android never seems to work no matter what I do. I make sure beats is off. I make sure the drivers are installed etc. Any help?

Install as system app.
edit this line in build.prop
Ipa.decode=true to lpa.decode=false
Install driver from within app.
Restart.
Enable in app.

I had read somewhere that this had worked, but I moved the app to /system/apps, set the correct permissions, the icon appears, but when I click on it, it doesn't open. Did I do something wrong, or can someone point me to the thread with the instructions?

just install it as a normal apk
Is there another Rom, besides Elegencia that supports this sound mod? I like to keep close to stock, had a look around but can't find much!

You may want to check out SinLessROM SE edition. I use SinLessROM GE which has it. When the dev posted he was making a Sense version, he said it would have the same features. I'm not sure if V4A is in the SE edition, but the dev is pretty quick to answer questions and puts in features on request.
Insertcoin is very close to stock and support v4a in the aroma installer

V4A is "supported" by nearly any rom out there..
You can just install a rom and install the V4A driver/mod and it will most likely work.
So I have this phone for a month now and have been trying roms... So if someone could help me here with a question. Is viperOne the only rom with a tweak app? Cause all other roms need to do stuff in aroma which is kinda boring and might cause problems..

Have you tried installing the xposed framework? Some nifty mods you can add with that.

Arhd has the sense 5 toolbox, gharrington also offers 3minit framework mods, seems like it's just getting started on the One, but on the s4 the options are unlimited

Viper is the best for Tweaking atm.
Because with a click you can tweaks all you want.
The toolbox need a flash from recovery, and if you don't like some thing, you have to reflash.
The xposed framework is another solution, but there isn't all the option that Viper give

The Sense 5 toolbox is installed as any other apk... it does not need to be flashed in recovery!
It is an Xposed module and like any other changes are made by selecting/deselecting options and any number of changes can be made without any need for re-flashing or re-installing.
Please don't provide the wrong information to other users.... as an RC you should know better.
Ok thanks for your opinions
I'll stick with viperOne which has basically anything a user can need.

Hello,
I have CM.
I want to replace the built in Superuser app with SuperSU.
I want to know: Having 2 Superuser apps is OK?
And if I can remove (or anything that will disable it) the built in app.
Thanks.

im not sure about removing the cm superuser app but im pretty sure u can just install supersu beside it. dont see why not
yeah u can, I've done it before, but before you uninstall it open the one you've installed and update the su binary first then uninstall the old app.
I just rooted with Towel root and did all the goodies (debloated, etc). I'd like to use Xposed for Gravity box or Wanam. I noticed some threads are complaints about the phone acting up after installing the framework, others say it's module associated.
Curious to how stable the framework is. Is anyone experiencing anything without running any modules, or with Wanam/Gravitybox?

Same here. All is good using wannam and Exposed G-Touchwiz

Depends on what you want, I did the Xposed and Wanam, but lost private mode and S health. They worked fine but I do use the S health, so waiting to see if someone can get them all playing well together.
I have no issues with anything. Bloat gone and Knox disabled. I didn't buy the S5 for all of Samsung's gimmicky features, so I don't care if they're there or not.

this is what you do to get s health to work:
Make sure the Xposed isn’t installed.
We need to change build.prop file inside the system partition, you can also get it done manually by using a file manager app or get a build prop editor on play store.
Once you find the build.prop file, look for the “ro.securestorage.support=true” line.
Now change the line to “ro.securestorage.support=false”.
Install the Xposed framework again.
The final step is wiping S Health app data, head to System -> App Manager -> ALL -> S Health then wipes the data. Now your Galaxy S5 should be able to runs Xposed framework and S Health simultaneously without any problems.

I tried this, but I could never get s health to work again even with Xposed uninstalled. I have gone back to unrooted stock for now.
All is good using Wannam, Exposed G-Touchwiz and RootCloak!
Just remember to enable the modules after you install and reboot to insure they're active.

Decided to install and run Wanam after reading your comments. Working fine and stable.
