Aptoide Odex files? - Off-topic

Hey guys, I (un)lucky patched an app I installed from Aptoide, and now I'm trying to reinstall it, but it's giving me crap about conflicting packages. I looked for the Odex file, but it's not in the regular area. Any idea where I could find it? BTW, the app is Flappy Bird, I was hoping to get rid of the google ads.

Both of those apps are primarily used for warez, which is strictly forbidden on XDA.
Thread closed. You can use Adblock/MinMinGuard or similar to block the ads instead, and the conflicting message error is probably due to different package signatures, so uninstall it and get it from the Play Store.

Things we can safely uninstall?

So, I'm reading in some of the other threads that uninstalling certain apps will break things, so, if someone could start posting a list of apps that CAN be safely removed, I'm sure everyone here would be really appreciative

[Q] Can i?

May i know with Pre-Installed App are able to delete?
Not sure what your asking, but if you want to get rid of preinstalled apps check out the development section there are numerous threads which cover removing bloatware. There is a script available that pretty much removes anything you want.

QuickOffice Pro free (11/14/2011) on Amazon App Store

Is it any different than Samsung's included version though?

I'd say that if you get it via the Amazon store, you'll have access to future upgrades that you probably won't get with Samsung's version.
I did what I normally due with most of these Amazon freebies. I purchase them, it starts the download, and then I cancel the install.
If I ever happen to need that program in the future, I just go to the Amazon App Store and its waiting to be downloaded and installed.
That's a pretty cool idea actually.

Yeah, it works well and I don't have 100 different apps cluttering up my phone and taking up space. The annoying part is that when I open the Amazon App store I always have 20+ apps waiting to be downloaded. I have to scroll through a list to find out what I have. Plus, I haven't found a way to delete a program I no longer want.
I tried downloading QuickOffice Pro from the Amazon App store yesterday many times throughout the day, and kept getting an error. So much for getting it free.

[Q] Other sources for Apps?

Searched but can't find an answer to this. Probably because I wouldn't know what words someone else has used in Q or A...
Is there an alternate source for Apps for my TAB that I can access on the TAB just like the Market/Google Play or failing that on a PC and easily install via some other method?
I guess what I am asking is: Anyone who makes an App, do they automatically put it up on the Market or do some developers prefer not to, and therefore is there another central access point, or do I have to web search them and go to their site to get them?
confusing post. There is the google play store, the Amazon app store, Getjar, and appslib market places to get apps from.
Most developers will list their apps with one or more of those app stores.
Unless of course you are looking for Warez matey. That be goin' against forum rules. Arrr. ;-)

Not sure why its confusing.
I only know of (knew of) the Market (now Google Play) cos its the stock standard link included on my TAB and SG2. Aside from Samsung Apps.
Not after warez, just wondering weather all apps make it to GP or if thewre is other places. Will have a look for the others.
Just downloaded and installed appslib APK and got the message "Sorry, but your device is not compatible with AppsLib."
SGT7 Overcome 4.1.0
Th getjar seems a little sparse.
to ensure high compatibility,
I usually re-set my dpi to 240,
clear market data and reboot.
then launch market again

I have never seen any dpi settings. Where would these be? How would resolution affect weather the appslib works or not?
Which market are you referring to - Google Play or appslib?
Dpi affect Play
/system/build.prop
ro.sf.lcd_density=240
But I misread your post. You downloaded an apk and install it manually.
The dpi setting only affect when you search apps in Play.

Been away for a while need files

I ran stock for a while and now I'm back in the game. What is the best for manager to use now and what is a decent place to find nodded programs? (Not asking for links for free programs?) just can't find anything anymore.

I don't understand your question... "modded programs" what does that even mean if you're not referring to pirated apps?
Pirated apps are not permitted on XDA.
I use root explorer and EFS explorer.
I also think he means modded apps such as ones you flash or sideload.
Kind of a vague question but yeah really talking about tweaks and stuff but I guess it's just a lack of development due to being a brand new device. Sorry about that
