how can i donwgrade?

Download a stock ROM from your country here, and flash it through PC Odin -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
Then, you'll root it using the kernel CF-Root : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331784

I just did and my keyboard is ruined
every thing i type comes out as a null

Try switch to another rom ? it's a plenty of good rom in this forum hope will fixed your wifi problem

hmm, i rooted my wifes galaxy si 9000 just yesterday having not done anything to a galaxy before.
what i did first was to type "XDA root Samsung galaxy S i9000" into google and then picked one of the 5.2 million hits...
(i also then updated from froyo to jellybean including clockworkmod)

yup... it's called search
you would find this thread with a link to rooting but you'll have to search the thread to find it for your firmware. good practice in using search

[HELP]NEED modemfs backup and /lib/tee files (TGY)

As title
I want to try that I9070's baseband can use in I8160 or not.
Because I8160 BRI/TGY still can't update to 4.1.2
I tried to flash CM10.2 and it can work but no signal
So I think if I9070' baseband can use in I8160, maybe it will have signal...
I need I9070TGY's modemfs,efs backup and /lib/tee files
It is better if I can obtain 2.3.6 and 4.1.2 's modemfs

Download I8160 from other country and flash it with Odin. But first check at your forum is it safe. Because if we flash I9070 on I9070P or I9070P on I9070 it cause HARDBRICK.
P.S. You already have CM10.1 for your phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2452315
Baseband from I9070 will not work, I am 99% sure.

I know that I8160 already have CM10.1, but I8160BRI(HongKong/Taiwan) still no have official 4.1.2.
If I flash official 4.1.2 from another region ,my phone will got baseband unknown and IMEI will disappear
Alright, keep use gingerbread until Samsung update I8160BRI to 4.1.2 or I buy any new phone.....

Same thing happen to our device when someone is on HK firmware (no baseband when other country fw is flased). Strange... Have no idea why.
