Does Anyone Know If It Can Take A 12 GB Micro SDHC If So Theres One Here For £35
http://www.flash-memory.co.uk/products/1031/sandisk-8gb-micro-sd-sdhc-card.htm
it is 8 gb not 12,
at least its what i see.
i have an 8gb and its the max i guess so far.
it will be available a 16gb in summer, i guess its still in lab
8 gb i c as well. Yeah, it will support up to 32 GB, but that wont be until next year. Plus, there is no way i need more than 8 GB. ..... Maybe 16 at MAX
It says 8gb then later says 6 gb, wonder what it really is?

6 GB Sandisk
I have the 6 GB Sandisk and all is fine except that I can't save the camera photos on it
6gb Sandisk microSDHC
Im also using a Sandisk 6gb microSDHC in my Bell Vogue and its working fine all the way, no problem at all.
I was thinking about picking this up today
SanDisk - 8GB microSDHC Memory Card
I ended up buying a ADATA 8GB MICRO SDHC TURBO class 6 https://shop2.frys.com/product/5576250?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
8GB here, between the RAM, Main Storage, and the SD, I've got plenty of memory!
deepeyes that is a class 4... see the 4 with the circle around it... that indicates ur class speed
I am inbetween these two cards. One is a Kingston 16GB Kingston class 4, while the other is a 32GB Sandisk class 2. The only thing I'm concerned about is the speeds on the 32GB Sandisk SD Card, how do you think it will compare with the Kingston?

Real world performance... most won't notice any difference in speed. Go with the 32 GB, as the extra storage can be extremely handy.
I use the 32gb with an Incredible, speed is fine.
I compared 3 cards. Sandisk 16GB class 2, Transcend 16GB class 6, Sandisk 16GB class 4.
The Sandisk 16GB class 2 actually out performed the other 2 cards in write speed. The Sandisk class 4 had a slightly higher read speed than the class two but just not enough to justify the price difference, so I went with the Sandisk class 2 cause it's an all round performer and it's cheaper than the other 2.
I got mine for $27.00 locally
I got the 32g from Verizon. It's a class two, but all the Sd Card "Benchmark Apps" rate it as a class 4 for what its worth. Definitely the 32g...Way handy!
Thanks for all the responses guys. I guess I'll definitely be going with the 32 GB one then!!

Look on new egg you can get 32 gb for about 70$$ there, it's where I got mine
Sent from my HTC Incredible
I got the Kingston 32 gb Class 2 on ebay for $49 free shipping. You may want to look there.
Get one of these two Microsd cards if possible
I have found this card at newegg class 10. 16gb, even got a review for the htc incredible that was not bad, but the person did say that it only read it as a class 6. Was only $28. its sold out as of right now, but when it comes back you should probably get one. Im hoping this company makes a 32gb version.
but if you want a known name brand then I would go with Patriot 16gb class 10 microsd which happens to be also out of stock but goes for $38. Probably just the price difference on name brand, but you never know. both are unfortunately sold out. means they are hot right now.
As for these four memory cards, is that you recommend to the HD2?
1. SANDISK MICRO SD 16GB class 4
2. ADATA MICRO SD 16GB class 4 or ADATA MICRO SD 16GB class 6
3. KINGSTONE MICRO SD 16GB class 4
Sandisk because it has stable performance and more compatible than other cards on wp7
I personally used Sandisk for a very long time and continue to do so but i have recently swapped it out for a Transcend 8GB class 10. You can find it
on ebay here for $10.50. Read and write speeds are impressive and it works great for Android or to just have really. I don't use WP7 so i can't honestly
say if it'll work or not for that. A quick search in the WP7 Q&A could shed some light on it. I just couldn't foresee how it would even be a problem though.
Google the SD cards your interested but add the word benchmark to the end. This can give some insight on what cards generally have the better
performance and which don't. Higher speed ratings don't always mean better scores so look at the benchmarks and most important, the reviews.
If Sandisk is the card your most interested in i could sell you some of mine. I can't compete with China or knockoff prices but i could offer something
cheaper then what you might pay at Best Buy, Target or even Walmart. $8 for a 8GB sandisk class 4, $15 for a 16GB sandisk class 4 or both for $20.
Improtant warning about (some) sandisk cards. While shopping in the past i did see a lot of fake sandisk cards. I've always heard the easiest way to spot
a fake sandisk is buy looking where the speed rating is placed. If its off to the corner then it might be fake. It should be centered in the middle as all mine are.
Sankdisk, if not Kingstone.
Honestly, I'd go all the way and get 32gb. Thats what I did.
Sandisk, and buy only from certified OEM seller.
Any card from auction: 95% probability of getting fake one. They may work as original, or may not.
I recommend samsung 32GB class10.
Its effect is very good.

"please insert sd card"
how to fix it...
I have been using Sandisk 16GB Class 4 for a while now, and I need to increase my storage (32GB)
I am confused between these two cards:
Samsung 32GB Class 10 for 1599 INR (29.43 USD)
Sandisk 32GB Class 4 for 1216 INR (22.38 USD)
Which one should I go for ?
If your not looking for fast write speeds or using as a "swapped" internal memory, just go for the class 4, never pay more than you need for memory cards, they date to fast.
I thought greater speed (class10) would be nice,
I was just wondering if samsung is good against sandisk or not ?
Also does samsung cards work with WP7 ?
i am using samsung class 6
16gb
and it works flawlessly for wp7 and native sd (android)

Why not go for the 64GB cards that are available now? They are selling for around $50 (for a SanDisk class 10 even) and they work great in an HD2. See my posts about this here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33028241&postcount=9 Basically the same post here as well, but I added a bit more info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33102891#post33102891 You can never have too much storage space.
Be careful with class 10 cards as for phone memory use they are not the best.
Good quality class 4 or 6 is best all round card with better sequential speeds that are more in line with phone usage thus better performers & cheaper/easier sourced plus less prone to issues/compatibility ...
i use sandisk
I bought the Samsung 32GB Class 10. It is really fast. I'm using Android via NAND and you can improve your smartphon experience by upgrading your system with this card a lot.
I use a 16GB class 10 Sandisk micro sd
I use SanDisk Ultra microSDHC UHS-1 8GB card.
Worked very well with JellyTime NativeSD ROM and now with WP7 ROM 8858. So cheap and lightning fast. I recommend it for everyone, great memory card!
I use 32 GB Class10 Transcend Extrem Speed (Ultimate), this card has a very well performance with WP7 and NativeSD.

Second place in random speed (4k R/W)!
Which is important for WP7, NativeSD or Nandroid with A2SD, DataOnExt, ect.

Ok,there are this microSD cards with HC added on their name(SDHC) so im not sure if the s3mini gonna accept them...i will link the names of the 3 microSD cards that i can afford to buy from my local store, can you please tell me if they will work
And whats up with that class stuff either, like class 4 or class 10..i get it that it is the write/read speed, but what class s3mini gonna support?
1.Secure Digital Micro Kingston 16GB SDHC class4 w/Adapter
2.Secure Digital Micro Kingston 32GB SDHC class4 w/Adapter
3.Secure Digital Micro Verbatim 16GB SDHC High Speed Class10

I use 32Gb class10, working well. Class -meaning write/read speed. Higher class sd is expencive than lower class sd. But i can't say which one class sd is enough for general usage.
