Hi guys, I'm getting my Moto X tomorrow and wondered if there is a hardware test dial code similar to the one I have used to test Samsung phones? I have searched on line but can't really find an answer.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Yeah, can you find somebody who actually has the phone? I search the web everyday for signs of it, but find nothing.
yeah theoretically we can.
we just need to get the system dump, which right now is pretty hard to get.
Look under the N6 General section... there is a link to a port of moto x pro

Here's the thread. Looks like it uses 5.0.2. I'll let some talented people sort it out before I do anything.

We should have something fun in a month or two! I'll definitely donate to whoever starts porting features.
I can't really help with coding or testing but just want to come by and say thanks for everything. You guys have all my support.
Hi,
I'm just wondering if when the moto x style gets the software available, do you think we might get a ported ROM or at least ported apps?

There's a few threads about this. Here's just one:

Ahh thanks for the reply. That'll teach me to look first.
I wonder if the devs would have a better chance with the moto x style just because it'll be easier to obtain here in the states versus the moto x pro. I mean I'd stay with my nexus6 if I could get the moto enhancements. I just have my doubts. If it hasn't been done already, I'm starting to doubt it ever gets done.

Why would you think it would be easier to port from the Style than from a Moto X 2nd gen?

That's just desperate thinking from a man who really wants those features on my nexus6. [emoji12]

OK - we aren't getting Marshmallow for the 2013 Moto X. Even if Moto wasn't being gutted by Lenovo, expecting that upgrade would have been on the edge. So, with a XT1053, it's easy to move onto Cyanogenmod, but what would people recommend to replace some of the added value software Moto provided like Assist? Given that Moto is retiring Assist, everyone who likes it will need a replacement even if your Moto X version is being updated to Marshmallow. I understand that Google took 50% of Assist and baked it into Lollipop, but I've yet to find another solution which can automatically detect whether I'm driving with any degree of accuracy and for me Assist does a great job. The software "Agent" comes close to duplicating most of Assist on paper, but it's automatic driving detection has been hit or miss (mostly miss). Any suggestions of other software to replace Assist?
Almost on all the Motorola devices we see are having the new ported camera and several other apps from the Moto G4 plus but Cant ghost get it too?
Maybe for any custom ROM like cm13,aosp,etc...
Thanks for support and help in advance!
I have just bought a moto g5s plus...after upgrading from Lenovo k5. So I was wondering if we should expect a Pie rom in the near future. I'm a newbie so I was wondering if this phone can run a 64bit os(android pie). I really don't have any idea about any "bit conversion" or if its possible or not...I would really love to receive some response from this community regarding this issue.
Thank You,
