[Q] Can you re-flash stock ROM to Optimus Black?

Good day fellow OB owners!
Since this is my first android phone, I'm hesitant to flash a new ROM (I don't know how to flash either). So, when I saw the NOVA ROM, I wanted to try flashing a custom ROM, but I'm still undecided. Is it possible to get stock ROM if ever I failed flashing NOVA or can I change back to stock if I'm successful on flashing?
Now I have installed Noejn's Nova Recovery. Please don't bite
Yes, it's easy: instruction how to.
Check here for newest firmware.
Just don't rush it and everything will be ok.

[Q] Getting just simple root on Nook Color? (Not flashing ROMS)

I was wondering what the fastest way to get just simple root on my Nook was. I don't need to flash rom's like Cyanogenmod/Phiremod to Nook internal memory; I'm fine with the vanilla stock Nook UI. I just want to be able to install my own apps and possibly get Market. I don't want to nuke what's currently on the Nook.
What's the simplest way to do this? I have stock software version 1.4.2

I've been having a lot of trouble trying to put a custom rom on my S5

I just want to put a custom rom that enables or however I do it, Lollipop. I also would like the options for customization. If possible I'd like the alliance one. But I don't know how. I've downloaded a couple different stock roms and then rooted and did everything I could. I can't find a custom bootloader that works for me. Everytime I try to install a custom Rom the phone won't load. It stops doing anything after the Samsung logo and doesn't make it to the AT&T logo.

For starters, we can't help you unless we know what phone you have ( firmware version etc ). Secondly you will not find a custom bootloader because AT&T locks them down and no one has cracked it.
