I've noticed the Xoom Honeycomb wallpaper found on the interwebs is terribly low quality. You can see gradient banding and pixelization. Its quite sad really since its such a cool image.
Anyway, I've redone the wallpaper to get rid of these artifacts. I will post 2 versions, one is the original size (1920x1408) and the other is formatted for the NC (1024x600).

No problem. I'm really amazed at how low the quality is on the version that is floating around the web. Gradient banding drives me insain. If you are going for a honeycomb look then you should check out the ripple lock app.

I can't seem to get gallery to set the whole thing as a wallpaper. Is there some sort of background changing app that ishould be using? I feel Like a noob. I must be missing something.

First of all, great job!! Now.. is there any way to theme the actual text color but keep it the same font? Like for example you can make the clock
white or orange. It would be cool to be able to change the text of the weather orange or other colors as well. Anyways just a thought!
All I get is a rainbow light thingy, kinda like a lens flare... Last night there was nothing next to the temp.
lens flare is when its sunny out when its blank it means its clear out

I believe the request was for a good theme, not just slapping a color scheme on a wallpaper. Design City has a few that are free, but even those are only decent.
