Hi, I had problems with the kies from day one-
at first for few days it's just showed me connection window,
after that, I succeed to connect one time (didn't change nothing) and it came back to the same condition.
Then, after reinstell kies and the drivers the auto-reset problem started
I found a weird file in skyfire(browser) folder, deleted him and the auto-reset stopped but not solved.
Now, when I connect the device to kies i get messege "device not supported by kies" while the phone shows "connected" with the usb picture.
I'm using windows xp home edition, kies version 1.5.1.10074_2,
firmware 2.1-update1, baseband version I9000xxjf3.
Please, if someone know how to fix it I will be thankful.
iv got the same problem.. my phone connects to the main window in Kies.. and i can use all those things from main screen beside the APPS.. when i click on Apps icon.. it loads the apps and i get that message your phone is not suported.. bla bla.. and in that list of phones are only 2 types of phone.. those Wave type.. ? any answers?
btw im from Romania.. i do think cuz is not officialy suported or updated for my country? could that be the reason.. im looking for an answer aswell.. pls help!!
Kies can be very awkward to use
If you are using any other Home screen launcher other than TW Launcher - that can cause problems. Switch back to TW while you transfer things.
Also check to see if you are running the latest version of Kies
Apparently Odin is a better program to connect your pc to your phone but i haven't tried it yet so can't comment.

Kies doesn´t support Android Apps for now, only Bada OS (Wave) and i guess Symbian too. That is why you cannot choose any of the apps in the list from Kies and the SGS won´t show up to select.
The only Samsung Apps you can download are in the Samsung Apps App preinstalled on the Phone. There you get Asphalt and some other stuff for free.
I manage to connect my galaxy with kies every time when i umount sd card trough settings. After that kies recognized my phone. But i have other issue. After my sd card is unmounted then for example i can transfer videos only to internal memory and when i mount sd card again and when i want to transfer that video from internal to sd card using file manager app it just video doesn't play. What that could be? So video is payable when it is on internal memory, but when i move that video on sd card using file manager app on the phone i always get massage 'u can not play that video'. Please help?

I just flashed the BlackCNA 2.0 ROM on my Galaxy Note. Love the ROM so far but I can't get the phone connected do my MacBook Pro. Maybe I'm totally blind but I haven't found a USB Storage option in the settings yet. I don't wanna put everything over ftp. I also can't see the phone when I start the Android File Transfer program for my mac (normally I use this for my Tablet which is in MTP mode). Does anyone of you know how to get the phone working on the computer? I wanna copy files on the internal and external storage.

gents, some files & folders are not showing in windows explorer when i connect to PC by USB in MTP mode. but i cant see those files and folder from from phone explorer like ES explorer...
can you please help me, i need to copy some huge number of photos from my phone SD card, which is showing in phone.
i tried: SD re-scan apps too, but no luck. and restart phone, no luck. :crying:
don't suggest to use AirDroid as files are huge.
I am using: stock ROM JB 4.1.2 (leak)
last sentence is the hint: known problem with the leak. No solution until know - at least I don't know any.

EDITED: I managed copying those huge files by turning on USB mass storage utility from Settings > More Settings > USB utilities.

Try MPE. Its a great software.

even that doesnot show all the files.. only mounting the USB from recovery works well.. shows all files

So right now Im using CarbonRom with android version 4.4.4 on 9070P, but since its unstable and freezes a lot, I would like to return on more stable version of Jelly Bean (4.3 maybe?!). Is there a guide how is this possible?
All I see are guides from reverting Jelly Bean to Gingerbread...

Just flash stock rom (JB) with odin.
But don't forget to backup your data and do a nandroid backup (just in case ... )

So the correct process would be Carbon Kitkat->stock rom 4.1.2->new rom (cyanogenmod 10.1 for example).
So I cannot skip the original rom part?

You tried to enable usb debugging in Settings > Developer options ? If developer options doesn't show up, go to Settings > About phone and tap build number fast 10 times. Enable usb debugging and try to connect to computer without that app. You can change between MTP or others in notification bar (if you get notificatiom when you connect phone) or by going to Settings > Storage and press menu button and choose usb storage mode.
Also, did you try to put off sdcard and put it on again?
OK, not so perfect after all:
NO Call audio- I cant hear other persons, they cant hear me. Phone rings as usual.

I can mount/unmount SDcard no problems, also another file explorer shows SDcard contents without a hitch, lets me install apps and play files from it, but STORAGE menu from settings is still off limits, even is no SDcard is present in the phone- results in crash to home screen.
I guess thanks to new root explorer, gallery works, so I guess I could manage without that menu as well.

Did you try to install a dialer from google play and see if is working? If i remember correctly, we had to replace the phone.apk.

I downloaded random dialer from google play "truedialer" I think, and all it changed, was the interface, i did setup this as the main dialer, but calls were still made using old dialer and hence no change.
Hi, I used to have 22.1 NULL ROM on my old watch. Today I got a new watch and installed 23 NULL ROM and I noticed that I can't access Gear files via Windows explorer anymore. It simply does not show as hard drive. I can only access the files via Wondershare. Any help?
