I don't really see any posts anywhere about the CDMA version of the Desire C. I need an Android OS that can make my phone work, only as an MP3 Player with Wifi and Playstore. Are there any people out there willing to help me out?

i also have ClockworkMod Recovery installed so if i need to test anything i can install
*The reason i need a new ROM is because the Stock CDMA rom is no where on the internet and recovery backups wont work some reason.*
*I have also checked multiple Cricket forums in hope to find a rom, no luck.*

Hi, I was checking my phone versions using fastboot. In the description after PVT 32B, it says S-ON for one phone and S-OFF for another phone. Does anyone know what the S stands for?

Where they purchased far apart from each other, timewise?
I believe it has something to do with the signature check when trying to flash something like an SPL that it has to verify. The S-OFF i believe that was the one that was able to be flashed by Hykuros spl for the phone and the one that said S-ON wouldnt flash .. until the goldcard came out
Just figured it out. One of your phones is the Google Ion, the other is the G1. Same "brand", different "model".
maybe its the security lock ?
sim lock or something like that ?
* S-ON : Security On (does NOT write directly boot from NAND)
* S-OFF : Security Off (writes directly boot from NAND)

an intelligent first post. finally a first post that doesn't begin with and I tried one click root. thanks for the answer something i have pondered.
Thanks Dave, I only translated this stuff from one of my web pages.
Okay so heres my story. I have an HTC One on Sprint. It is rooted. I was running viperone 3.5 with android 4.3 sense 5.5. In the viperhub i downloaded a kernel thinking it would work. I flashed it and was stuck in a bootloop. I turned on but didnt have service. so restarted and still didnt have service. TWRP (2.6 I think) wouldnt work and just restarted the phone. So i went into ROM Manager and installed ClockworkMod Recovery. That does work. I do have my Nandroid backups from TWRP still on my phone but cant recover them in CMD. My phone now is stuck in a boot loop unless i put it in hboot. its stuck on the htc quietly brilliant screen and restarts. I need help please message me, anything. I dont know what to do at this point. Sorry if this is in the wrong section I dont know this site to well.
this is my hboot or whatever its called stuff.

Just flash the original Viper 3.5 ROM back on using either recovery.
That should restore the Kernel included with the ROM. Should be no need to wipe.
I'm not sure mixing recovery backups works. I'd put TWRP back when you get a chance.
It's odd you lost recovery though even if it was a n incompatible Kernel.
I have been at this for 8 hours.
I had older viper rom on my Sprint htc one m7 phone and wanted to upgrade for the new one thats built on 4.4.3
It said that i had to upgrade my firmware first in order to install that rom, so i tried going back to stock by relocking first and after that things went south.
As of right now my phone says:

Please help me get my phone working again. Right now it will only boot into bootloader/fastboot
there is no recovery, no rom.
I tried flashing through fastboot appropriate (Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_1.29.651.7_encrypted_ROM.zip)
I tried flashing recovery from (http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/171)
Also tried a bunch of different RUUs and GURUs from here (http://www.htc1guru.com/downloads/)
nothing seems to help, always same FAILED verification errors
Please help me get my phone working again.

there aren't any gsm roms that I've ever seen in the sprint forums, just international roms with sprint support.
A friend of mine (who's a bit of an idiot when it comes to Android) has a Sprint HTC One (M7).
I don't know much about HTC's as I've never owned one so I really don't know how the bootloader and S-OFF and things like that work.
Anyhow, he wants to sell it, so I want to get it back to stock.
This is what the bootloader says:

eMMC-boot 2048MB
Don't know what any of that means.
All I want to know is how do I get back to stock properly?
I downloaded 2 Different RUU's (for Sprint)
One was an EXE file which opened up an InstallShield wizard, asked me to accept or reject the terms and agreement and then just closed and didn't do anything.
The other was a zip file, which is also useless.
It's the rom.zip, but when I try to extract it, it's corrupt.
If I try to flash it (using the fastboot oem rebootRUU command) it gives me an error about being too large or something.
Internet is slow here in Pakistan, how many RUU's could I possibly download (it takes forever).
How can I simply get back to the stock ROM for Sprint (either KK or Lollipop will do).
This is why I never buy HTC cause they're so damn confusing.
P.S: The phone has a custom recovery installed and is on CM12.1 right now.
:highfive: :highfive: Hi Experts,
I am having real difficulty getting my phone up and running. I have M7 international, rooted \unlocked and uses custom recovery TWRP, which is really really good.
I have accidentally erased everything in my internal SD card and system including ROM and firmware.
I have attempted to successfully flash a new custom rom VIPERONE V8 using HTC One Toolkit 1.0.1 via sideloader. It won't work via any other methods.
It wouldn't boot the phone into operating system. It keeps looping back into recovery mode before and after the install. In other words nothing has changed.
Could the experts teach me what to do? I am confused when the term ROM, HBOOT and firmware is used.
Here is my bootloader information;

As you can see i'm missing the operating system OS................
I use to be on Android 4.4.2 and this refers to Firmware right?
I was also using Viperone V6.1.
I guess i need to know how to flash the newest firmware because i believe there's no operating system installed in my phone hence why it keeps booting into recovery mode when i turn on the phone...............
Step by step instruction specific to this please.
Much appreciated.
