It's still not working. When I swipe to install it says it failed. Then it gives me the option to reboot, wipe or back. I click reboot then it tells me superuser permissions are messed up would I like to fix them. I click yes swipe then I'm back where I started. With superuser and not supersu.

Yea, I was thinking that. I'm not sure how to use cmw just yet. I'll try it soon, but not now. Thanks anyways.
Hi guys,
Ok, so I've searched through everything and I still can't find an answer to my problem. So, basically, I have just installed Cyanogenmod 11 on my Xperia SP successfully using CWM recovery and then I wanted to reboot my phone again into CWM, so that I could install gapps, but I just couln't. Despite pushing right buttons while booting or making him boot into recovery mode, he always turns on the system. I can't get into flash tool either, but maybe it is because I have a blocked bootloader. I don't know if it's a valid info, but I have used "Wipe data/factory reset" before installing Cyanogenmod 11.
Please, help me, as I have no clue what to do now :<

Maybe his bootloader can't be unlocked.
But if it can be (just dial *#*#7378423#*#* and check bootloader status), I too would suggest unlocking it. Makes flashing and customizing so much more easier and there infinitely more ROM's and other files to choose from.
Of course take a TA backup before you unlock your bootloader or your warranty's gone for good.

Why is there no chatter about the EPF1 update?
I've been scanning the boards and not much about it... It appears to just to be simple Android Security Update, yet no one has really said anything about it..

I updated, but haven't noticed much of a difference. Apparently it adds an anti-theft feature that requires you to enter your google login information before it will let you reset the phone.
I can't wait for someone to root it.

Anyone having an issue with this update? I went back to stock for this update, then tried to apply TWRP, and the recovery doesnt stick, stays with the android default.
Edit: nvm...
I was afraid of this.. It may because of the new Secure Bootloader that if something isn't signed by Samsung or T mobile.. It may flash, but then buffer out and not install..

What are you guys talking about?
This update shouldn't prevent flashing a recovery, nonetheless be able to boot into download mode/odin mode and flash an older firmware.
I am downloading this atm, let me know if I am wrong.
Update: Flashed the update, flashing TWRP is fine.

The final question is, did it stick? Boot to Recovery and let us know.
Also, is root and custom kernel working fine?

Yes TWRP sticks.
Root works fine.
I am guessing a custom kernel would work fine, provided it is based on this firmware.
I am not going to test any as I have no need for a custom kernel.

Forgot to update earlier.
But yes, Root + TWRP + Custom Kernel + Xposed (v85+) works with this update.
Just to clarify, rooting and flashing twrp and supersu with this update on the tmobile galaxy s6 wont brick? I keep hearing that my bootloader is locked and i cant root with this build on my phone.
Edit: what is the best way to root? i keep hearing that i should flash a cf auto root file instead of twrp.

Hey, sr. For some reason it will not let me reboot to bootloader, can you help, or anyone?
Press the Power Key, Volume Down, and the Home Key at the same time while the device is powered off, that should put you into download mode..
Mind you that there is no official root method for EPF1, you can flash TWRP and then SuperSu to establish root
As the tittle says. Can I install Android 6 in my s5 mini without rooting? Or unrooting later. I have G800H model. Can I do it with odin? If someone can write the steps for me or paste some tutorial I'll be very grateful!

If you Flash TWRP recovery trough Odin, like it is mentioned in another thread all about flashing, you can install CM13 (which is basically Android 6). You don't have to install SuperSU.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...install-twrp-custom-roms-g800f-t3439853/page1
This explains just how you do it, of course you have to flash files specific for G800H and not for G800F if you have the Snapdragon version.

Thanks for answering. I think I screwed up a little. Installed twrp and rooted then I tried to install CM but it failed. I read that the reason is I got an old version of TWRP. So I wiped all but I still have TWRP and rooted. How can I wipe everything? And start as you indicated me? And where can I find a TWRP updated version because I can't find a compatible with S5 mini in the official website.
So many thanks in advance!

Just go to Androidfilehost.com and search for hennymcc than go into his CM13 directory for S5 Mini and download the TWRP there. You can flash it via Odin. Then you don't have to root. Just install CM13 from the same directory. No need to root at all. If you want to, just flash SuperSU which you can find on Google.
If you want to wipe, you can do that in TWRP under the option wipe -> advanced wipe -> and mark data, cache, dalvik cache and system.
Thanks again! I downloaded the recovery you told me. There's just a part that I don't get well:

Aaaaaaah you are on Stock right? If you are on Stock:
Flash the TWRP I told you via Odin and right after the flash finished press the buttons to enter recovery. DONT LET IT REBOOT! if it reboots, you have to try again. You have to go into TWRP right after flashing, because otherwise TouchWiz restores the stock recovery. It only does that on the first reboot. Once you were in TWRP, it stays.

There are other recoverys but TWRP works fine and is the best recovery in my opinion. And no, you can flash any zipaligned ROM with the recovery.
Hai! I'm new here so if this isn't the place to put it so sorry!
Anyways so I've always wanted to install Xposed, but there are always things getting in my way, until I saw a Xposed file that would work for me perfectly! But I don't have an recovery, the tutorial I took just made me use Odin, but I am rooted with busybox. (if that's important.) Anyways so I saw how to install an custom recovery, then I saw you had to unlock your bootloader, I had to google how to check if it was unlocked and it wasn't, so I then googled how to unlock bootloader and saw you had to delete your files. Now even if I get to backup and restore, I don't like factory resetting things. Until I remembered Odin, I googled it and saw it could flash. So i'm wondering...
Can I installed Xposed using Odin? Or atleast flash an custom recovery to it using Odin without unlocking my bootloader?
Here is my tablet's stats.

You should install the framework zip via custom recovery only.
1) Flash TWRP (or CWM or Philz or whatever is available for your device) in Odin
2) Reboot into recovery mode and you will be in this new custom recovery you just put on
3) Flash the xposed framework
4) ?????????
5) Profit!
