Hi, i can't find a good firmware for my S6500D. I got into bootloop a long time ago (1 year) and i decided to repair it. I flashed a random firmware and my phone is like crap even at 1.1 ghz. I can't find an universal S6500DXXLD3 firmware, that was the best if i remember corect. Thanks ^^

Thanks man. I didn't know how i done but i booted cm 11 on my mini and the lag was insane. I tought that i was used with my nexus 4 smooth but now all make sense. Can you tell me a pretty fast rom for this phone? I broke my nexus 4 and i have to stay with this one almost a month..

Well ..if you want speed I'd say ..stick with stock gingerbread ...if you are as disgusted of gb ui as I am go with cm10 (i use the 12.26 version, which is also the last one) , in my opinion it's faster than cm10.x and cm11

Try getting it to recovery mode and wipe data/factory reset.
Optional: Flash cwm.
If you can't get to recovery, try getting it to download mode , then disagree with the terms (press volume down key) and try pressing recovery combination fast (VOL+ + VOL- + HOME)
One more thing , I'm curios , where did you buy your phone ? Orange store or sites like emag,cel etc ? Because this is the stock rom for Romania(Orange) ..and I never had any problems with it.

you'll never feel like doing an Android if you still think like that
Simple logic: flash stock 20n or flash a 10x, root it and get any rom you'd like. If something goes wrong you can always (smart)flash back your stock orange rom.
I flashed my phone zillions of times and nothing wrong happend. Orange might come in the coming months, but never know for sure.
I bet that after flashing a ROM (other ROM or custom) you would not want to go back to the stock ROM

I recommend you to use german version it doesn't worth waiting for orange for god knows how much time to get sth that it is already out there
as they say on the website, "the upgrade will be available in 30 days after the official europe open version is released"
In alte cuvinte, la o luna dupa versiunea oficiala europeana (care are aprox o saptamana deja).
But it won`t matter in a warranty issue that u have a german or europe open release because it's an official release and there is no problem with it.

Flashed it one hr ago. Smooth and fast, no hangs, no lags, gps location indoor (never happened b4), incall volume and media volume is great, no BT audio issues, market astonishing fast.
So far so good, worthed 2 wait.

I did a Firmware OTA last week and since then i feel the LAG on my Galaxy Note...
Symptoms are more Visible while Performing the Scroll in the Contacts...
Scrolling mp3 in the MediaPlayer .. While Opening SMS message it kinda LAG while opening ... I tried Factory reset & stuff like that ... nothing improved the Performance.
What is the Problem ? anyone else is facing this isssue ?...
It so Sucks to see this on a Galaxy Note which has 1.4Ghz dualCore Processor and 1GB RAm. huh...
I really feel like going back to old Firmware that i had when i brought the phone in Jan/2012.
any help suggestions to me ? ... dont feel like using the Galaxy note at all due to this lag ...

Try to factory reset device, it will remove if any system junks.
Note it will wipe off data.

and Second time from "*2767*3855#" ...
One thing i noticed .. If i restart the Mobile and initial 10mins i feel the Scroll on the Contacts , MusicPlayer & Videos lists .. I see Scroll is fast.
After sometime i feel the real Lag ... I see my Colleague has a Galaxy S2 and if Scroll his Contacts / music Player / Videos ... its damn fast ...
I feel like going back to the Firmware i had while i got the Phone...
I dont even know which Firmware version it had ... Damn i shouldnt have updated this Firmware .
Please help ... anyone else is facing the same issue ?

I`am not fond of updates and always try to flash the whole rom. Download the rom for your country/region from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3. Install Odin 1.85. Do a data wipe/factory reset in recovery mode and cache wipe. Go in downloadmode and connect to Odin and flash the unzipped rom you downloaded. Usually that is much better.

I don't know guys why you are facing this problem, I have same ROM n i dont have any issue. It is not necessary but i always like to update my ROM with clean installation.
I mean before update i like to hard reset my device, another thing i never update my device with Kies/OTA. b'coz it erases Root.
So here is best way to get update.
First downgrade to older ROM
N7000XXKL3 ------ 2.3.6 2011 December-------- N7000ODDKL1

Read post #2 of above thread regarding Installation guide.
Now if you are interested then You can get Root + CWM (use my guide)
Now after root, you can have Data backup, you can use Titanium backup / Mybackup Pro
Hard reset device.
Now you can update latest ROM (use same tread as above for ROM)
with using CWM/Mobile Odin
You can restore your data, which you have backed up earlier
( You should not restore system part, as it may inject old junk)
Now you will have clean update ROM on your device.

Well , going by the Good ole saying "First Impression is the best Impression"...
I felt the initial firmware is much better .. hence i used your Step by step Procedure to flash old firmware and here i am .. back to Level 1...
Now I feel my Phone is super Fast ... and I really have to think 100 times from now before i plan to do a Firmware update... I fine with the DEC 2011 Firmware Version.

Hello all, I will be the first to admit i have not much of an idea as to what imdoing but thats half the fun.... Have a GT-N7000 that has odin mode
download stuck on screen (not uncomen from what i readon here) although there seems to be adifferent reason for each time ????
My phone was rooted & had frankie kernal & I had been having some issues in the hrsb4 this happened, must of some how wiped a system root file ??? when read the log it said from memory extended------ missing. then all of a sudden stopped going into recovery mode & justgot finger on wrong part of button & now hear we are ????
Would any 1 be able to suggest the best way to get out of it (if i can) even if means going back to factory & starting again ???? Help would be muched appreciated.
Visit the stock ROM thread in the original development section, Downloada GB firmware for your region, flash it via ODIN and that should fix you up :good:
you can then continue to start a fresh and go from there. There is a detailed picture guide for flashing firmwares so its relatively simple.

Can you get to dowload mode (vol down + home + power)? If you can do this than everything will be okay. Lets say you can do this - you'd have to get Odin and one of stock ROMs, froyo or gb - your call + 512 pit and flash it to your phone.

I solved my problem by myself, when i was blocked in Recovery room I could use all menu and for this reason I (réinstall ?) Cyanogenmod, after that, I reboot my phone and it works perfectly now.
I don't know if you understand me and if my english is good for you but if someone has the same problem than me, please tell me, I will try to do my best for explain my answer.

Flashing JB roms take a max of three flashes, coming from CM9.
1 for setting up the new partition (which is why you get the "This rom uses an incompatible partition, please reselect to reinstall")
Another for flashing in a new kernel and the new partition (which is where you were)
Last one for flashing the rom itself.

You can not flash I8750 ROM to a T899M, they are different devices with the same appearance.

The only thing that you can try is to find a rom for your device (t899m) and flash it...
I didn't understand how you pass the signature check from the flasher...

I don't know if there are any t899m roms out there, but that's what you would need to reflash to get your phone working again, like tooly said.

You tried to flash a GT-I8750 ROM to a SGH-T899M. What happened is... exactly what I, or almost anybody else on this forum with any experience flashing phones, would have told you would happen. I'm sorry dude, but you are SOL until/unless you can find a T899M ROM. The differences between the two phone models are subtle but they're more than sufficient to make the ROMs incompatible.
I'm sorry for your phone, I hope you find a solution
