Hi, recently I've bought an used HTC One. It's my first HTC on Android and I have a question. I'm from Poland however this phone is from UK and in language settings it has Polish but for United Kindom and Ireleand what means that some of the elements in menu and settings and some app's names are not translated. Is it possible to install another (polish - Poland) language in it without unlocking bootloader and doing this whole S-ON/S-OFF procedure? (It's my first HTC so I don't want to mess something up). Thanks in advance. My CID is HTC_001. I've just tried MoreLocale but it seems to work up to Android 4.2.2 only. I have 4.3

I have a UK G1 and I live in Poland. The UK G1 does not have Polish language and I really need this. I have had the 1.5 update in Poland but this only added Austrian and German languages but not Polish. I am using an unlocked G1 with an ERA sim card
Can someone advise me if there is a way to get Polish on my G1? I have tried downgrading my phone and then updating it in the hope of getting the Polish locale but this did not work and Im sure I did not use the right firmware
Is it possible to get the ERA (Polish) firmware on the phone or one of the European firmwares to enable Polish? I do not want to root my phone just get the right language.
Any advice would be really appreciated!
hey guys, I want to go s-off but i'm having an asian rom, which means I need to flash it with Goldcard and a EUR RUU.
Flashing with a EUR RUU means that I will lose all the languages I have in my phone? Is there a way I can download languages for my phone? Or at least back up my current rom so that I can install it back in later?

You'll have almost any language if you flash WWE version of stock ROM.
I wasn't able to get a chinese handwriting method from HTC Text Input from Asian stock ROM, but I backed up an HTC IME from it using MyPhoneExplorer... (So I'm just going to replace an HTC IME in the custom ROM i want to use with an HTC IME from Asian stock ROM)
I'm still working on it, i'll see whether it works out or not...
Hey thanks alot dude, I wanna type in chinese, that's the thing, just the keyboard will do. I have a SouthEastAsia rom but theres no option for chinese handwriting
So you're saying that I can type with chinese on the WWE Rom? hahaha if that's the case i'm gonna flash it in now!
Alas, if you want to have a Chinese user interface, you can go to the market and download "MoreLocale2". You can find ALMOST every language in it.

I bought a HTC One on internet. It come from Romania. When I started it for the first time, I have to choose a language, but there is not mine (French), there's only eastern europe language (bulgarian, romanian, polish..) and english.
How can i do to set french language in my HTC One ?

what if you reset to factory defaults? chances are that might bring missing languages.
in any case you can always unlock and flash an international rom such as arhd, read these forums, plenty of information on how to do that

I own a HTC One (M7) with Softwareversion 4.4.2 (4.19.161.11).
This device has no option for choosing my language.
I want to have dutch language on it (without using morelocale2).
What I want is to flash a stockrom on my HTC which has teh dutch locale in it.
Can someone tell me how I can flash the Europe stock rom on my device?
My HTC one is not rooted, has S-ON and Boorloader is unlocked!

I have an HD7. Unfortunately it has only English as display language, I want it to have more options, Portuguese (Brazil) in instance, I dont need any extra feature, so, May I change the stock roms on my device?
If its no, I realize that I will need to downgrade it to nodo so I will be able to install another stcock, or a custom, rom with the language. But In the list of nodo roms there are 7 options How do I find the right one? Actually is there a right one or any of them should work?
