Hi Guys,
this is my first post on XDA in 4 years of beeing a member.
But I'm gonna make this as short as possilble.
So some days ago, I flashed from Omni[4.4] to DaRk-L0rD DaRk Experience v1 Black Edition[4.3].
On Omni I was able to change the vibration intensity, cause on Darklord's rom, ist a bit noisy and when I'm in school, I don't want someone to hear my phone vibrting.
Do you know any apps or something where I could change the intensity ?
Thanks in advance,
best whishes from Germany,
Tobi
I guess this haptic feedback is either related to SystemUI.apk or framework-res.apk... However, I do not know what values need to be changed.
But as far as I know, there is no comfortable way workout decompiling to change the vibration intensity. :/

Its hard to help when we don't know Rom, android version, kernel etc. Just saying I've tried different etc doesn't help. But If you have tried through all of them then its probably hardware. I don't remember if Samsung based roms had vibration intensity mod or not.
On stock ROM's it isn't even a MOD it comes stock on it XD

Hello,
Is there a way to use the camera flash as a notification light as the ace lacks a notification light. If not would it be possible to program to make it happen? Im a noob

Well.. no! But it would not be nice to have the flash as notification light as it is too bright and will waste a hell lot of battery. You can use softkey backlight as norification using BLN from play store and it needs custom kernel which supports bln.
And do you even know the meaning of noob? You should call yourself a newbie!

Noob or n00b = someone who is not aware that he doesn't know he knows nothing and is not willing to learn.
While newbie is kinda the same thing but still in better conditions.
Newbie= someone who is aware that he doesn't know he knows nothing but is willing to learn.
If your wondering which one of those I am.
Neither actually I'm something much much worse. More like a disaster or a catastrophe.

Any way to change it cos with those kick ass speakers, it vibrates the whole building when it goes off!
I'd be interested in knowing this. It is a bit extreme haha
I hope so it's louder than just having a ringtone!
Maybe this will be possible with a custom Kernel
i would like to know as well, its quite intens now
When it's on a desk it's really bad! Any update on this?
Exactly! I had to turn off anything and everything that had vibration it's ugly.

So has anyone found a fix? Preferably non root .

Been looking for a fix to this myself with no luck. The vibration on this phone is a little too intense. Would like to take it down a notch myself.

Found a fix! But you'll need to be rooted. You then need to install faux's kernel and the FauxClock app from Playstore and then you can adjust vibration intensity.

any news about the vibration intensity? i would like to reduce the strengt
atm seems like faux kernel + fauxclock is the only option
Any way to do this on a stock ROM?
Use CM

I used to have CM11 installed, and with that you could change the intensity, but that option is not available using Sense
Solution - NO ROOT!!!
GUYS! There is a method to fix the vibration with NO ROOT!!!
This method will turn off "notification buzz" on any apps you choose (aka all of them) while leaving haptic feedback.
Instructions: Be running Android 4.3 or something close. Launch App-ops by starting an activity, you can do this via an App-ops launcher free from Play Store or a simple Tasker task. Go through all your apps an untick the "Vibration" permission!
I hope this helps many people, please say thanks if this helped! :good:
Hi Everyone.
I'm just curious I don't know any modification or development of any roms or mods. I just wanna know why aren't there anyone who makes mods for systemui for any stock 4.2.2. I know that 4.2.2 have a builtin quick settings but it's not that good. I mean brightnes settings can only be set with two options and no flashlight option.
Im just putting it out there hope you can enlighten me guys.
Thanks!
+1

Ride it like you downhill it.
Because it takes a few hours to resign the system ui and getting it to work. And if you made a mistake you have to unpack again, and resign again, taking hours and hours of your time. Sony system ui can't just be repacked unfortunately, so most people don't want to take the effort

Hello everyone!
I registered here years ago, but forgot my password and login lol, so i made a new account, anyways, ive recently bought a xperia z1, unlocked the bootloader, rooted with custom firmware and kernal (i know the basics etc).
Anyways, my question is i previously owned an xperia S and there was a mod where you can increase the notification led brightness, ive looked through the system files of my Z1 and i cant seem to find the required file (obviously theres alot of changes, im not a noob.)
Is there anyway to increase the brightness of it?
+1,i want to know that too.

Yes but that will mean running an app in the background?
Thats why i didnt mention that.
What im looking for is how to increase the intensity, same as the mod on xperia s, having more brighter notification led without an app...
The only reason why im stuck at this is because i see similar folders but different files in the folder location.
