Hi, I like report a great work of a lot of people:
Install CM11 (I install Nighty 20140206)
Install GOOGLE STOCK PACKAGE. I intall 2014-02-07 version.
Install Photosphere addon. I install v0.2.4 in 720 resolution.
Take care and read the Treats!!
I find a bug photosphere works fine, but the panoramic mode doesn't work if you install the addon, take care and think first what does you prefer. [SOLVED]
Fixed panoramic error:
Steps.
Go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
You only need install MICRO MODULAR PACKAGE of "Photosphere Camera Addon Module"
In your device execute the file browser and go to :root/mnt/shell/emulated/
in this folder create a file ".forcephotosphere" inside you write "tuna" and save. (you can copy a .txt file, rename an write "tuna").
Wake up in recovery, clean cache and install "pa_photosphere-module-4.4.2-20140123-signed.zip".
Thats all.
The instructions in original thread you can read this in the second post:
"Added a new feature to force a Photosphere Camera/Gallery install on non-Nexus devices (thanks to the AOKP team for the inspiration).
To use this feature, place a file in /sdcard/ called '.forcephotosphere'. Inside the file, type the name of the device for which you want the camera installed. Valid choices are:
hammerhead (to install Nexus 5 Camera/Gallery)
flo (or deb) (to install Nexus 7 (2013) Camera/Gallery)
manta (to install Nexus 10 Camera/Gallery)
mako (to install Nexus 4 Camera/Gallery)
tuna (to install Galaxy Nexus Camera/Gallery)
Please do not expect ANY support for problems that may arise if you use this feature"
You can see that P880 used "tuna" install.
thank you for your thread TKruzze!!!
:highfive:
You can use Photosphere in Camera
I am installing right now.
You can also just use BaNkS GApps? He also offers a camera only zip.

So far the photosphere works good for me - but since I flashed it, I can no more save pictures on SD-Card when I using the camera and video respectively.
Before I flashed it was possible to save on SD-Card.

True, Camera does´t have options to choose the folder to save pics... It always uses the internal memory, remember that Nexus don´t have SD card and the google photosphere stock camera 4.4 is for Nexus, but you can move pics with a browser explorer or pics browser app I use QuickPic and is easy.

Hello all,
I want to install Google now on my CM9 Milestone but...
After trying for couple days ive realised that even after a clean CM9 install:
-If i install gapps + the M7 pack (xda thread) . Result = google voice
-If i install CM9 clean + M7 pack... result: google default search box.
So ive managed to make a zip wich i can install using my Androidiani OR v3.3 wich contains the files of both gapps and M7.
With this zip ive made i get to launch google now, but after i perform the firsts steps (where google tells you all you can do with it) and i click on "YES, IM IN" wich is the final step of the procedure...it crashes and im never able to launch it.
So ive decided that this goes beyong my skills. Maybe some of you who have succesfully installed it can give me a hand pointing me to the correct files/procedure to use.
NOTE: I do not want to install CMW, so please, keep that in mind.
I cant wait to show a working Google now on my Milestone to some of my Apple fan boys friends.
Thanks for you help!!

The install packs i have been using are the following:
Cyanogenmod9 2012-08-01
gapps 2012-06-05
And the m7 pack
Start to upgrade to CM10, CM9 is deprecated. Google Now is working for me. Flash L3ibnitZ's or my "hacked" nightly and JB GApps and it's good

I shall most probably follow your lead on upgrading to Cm10.
So you say using JB GAapps, alll be good huh? Worth the try. TY

In case anyone cares - here's how I made Google Now work:
CM10 nightly from here: http://skrilax.droid-developers.org/cm10nightly/umts_sholes/cm-10-20121017-NIGHTLY-umts_sholes.zip
JB GApps from here: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip
Google Search Update via Play Store
Older GApps packages (from various threads around here - most of them having "milestone" in filename") rendered the location service useless - but now it works :highfive:

I didn't have to free any space manually

Sure , they are all linked nicely up here : http://goo.im/gapps
just use the one for CyanogenMod 10.1.x 4.2.2
All jb's roms for sensation xl , is 4.2.2 and should all use that.
an alternative to the official once, is banks gapps.
They are all for 4.2.2 jb so that also works. I am currently using that and recommend that.
Banks gapps is this :
Contains the normal gapps
-Four different packages to choose from with different things:
1. One with the Stock Keyboard with Gestures and the Stock Photosphere Camera
2. One without the Stock Keyboard with Gestures and without the Stock Photosphere Camera so you can use the AOSP ones that come in some ROMS
3. A minimal GApps package only containing Gtalk,Playstore with syncing stuff
4. One based on the GApps package without Photosphere and Keyboard, but has Multi Dpi Play Store.
-There is also a Stock Emoji Addon zip if you want the extra emoji keyboard
-There is also a Photosphere only Addon zip if you just want the Photosphere camera
-There is also a GenieWidget only Addon for people who actually use it

I tried to install the apk file attached in first post but that didnt install , i guess CWM is the only way to get this launcher.
I have a modded tre.. launcher with different name so wanted to install the original CM11 version but i guess the simple apk install wont work.

It's not working for me, but it's probably because I have Android 4.1.2...
It seems like cm11 Trebuchet stopped working on my AOSP 4.2.1 rom in mid June (around the 15th). Before, it was working very good.
Anyone knows why or how to make it work again?
edit: The problem is that it installs propperly but fails to open when i use the home button.
Here is CM11 trebuchet, as built on the 5th July 2014. I MODIFIED AndroidManifest.xml and now it works again on my 4.2.1 Jellybean rom.
Not working list:
Wallpapers (you ve gotta set it manually from Gallery)
Themes
Protected Apps (You can still hide apps with xposed GEL settings app, through xposed framework, if it's a matter)
Exactly like before. I played around in order to make these menus open but I failed. It seems like they interact with other processes/apps (like Settings.apk) which are exclusively found on CM11.
Does this change the notification and status bar to the same style as Trebuchet?
perfect launcher!
This launcher is better than google's launcher because we can remove that persistent search bar.
I installed it on my "spice mi 498".
Thanks for the launcher.

Try searching for cmapps in play store, although that app is broken but in description you can find direct web link.
Also my phone has android 4.4.4 and my phone is from android one series.
I think previous android version might be the problem.

Thanks for the APK dude, it works like a charm on my X-BO V5. Had to use the flashable ZIP version as the companion app to the default launcher, if not the launcher itself, is tainted.

The original camera of the N6 is in system/app/googlecamera.
When you have root access.
The name is base.apk. you could backup the original and rename the HTC camera.apk.
Then overwrite.....and hope.
BTW there a lot of very good cameras in the play store, a very good one is Camera FV5.

My phone is fully rooted and i'm using chroma rom. there was no such folder but i created one and placed the apk there and changed the properties to rw-r-r. after reboot the app was there but force closes every time i run it.
If this app is pulled from a Desire HD stock ROM, it will never work on the Nexus 6. Google changed under the hood how the camera operated between Android 2.3.x and Android 4.0.x. The camera change would plague many phones, my Dell Streak included. In the Dell Streak forums was a single Android 4.0.x ROM that never made it past an early beta, simply because it was not possible to get the camera working. From what I recall the developers mentioning at the time, they would have needed to write a wrapper for the existing Android 2.3.3-compatible camera binaries so they would work with the new OS.
No one wrote such a wrapper for the Dell Streak, and it's unlikely you'll get one here. Especially as much better camera apps are available in the Play Store. Someone already mentioned Camera FV-5. I would add Camera Zoom FX to the list.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked devices or other issues.
For all of you who likes clean ROM and hate duplication between system and user apps folders this tool will help. This will remove all defaults AOSP apps except launcher and keyboard. I suggest after removing to install pico version of gapps or all of this will not make much sense. Also boot animation will be gone, trim it to the bone
For everything else you may need use Play Store. This way upgrading existing apps will not make any duplicates.
Please don't hesitate to post if you like to see some more apps to be included in this remover.

I've noticed this too on my Nexus 6 regardless of ROM- Google Camera does not show up in the PlayStore. Like others have mentioned if you sideload the apk from somewhere like apkmirror it will work. Alternatively you can try clicking on this direct link from your Nexus 6 and it should hopefully take you to the play store with google camera displayed- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.GoogleCamera

I ran this while doing a clean install of Pure Nexus. Zips flashed in TWRP in this order: 1) Pure Nexus, 2) Full GAPPS (linked from Pure Nexus), 3) B14CKB1RD kernel, 4) phh's superuser, 4) 320 dpi, 5) AOSP apps remover. Google camera was available on first boot. ?
Two possible AOSP app oversights: AOSP keyboard (risky, I get it), and AOSP spell check (part of keyboard app?).
No problems experienced after booting into ROM and getting everything setup to taste. This is now a go-to/must have flash for me. Thanks!

Yeah, on 7.1.1 right now. The Pure Nexus FAQ clued me into these flashables. Adjusting the display size may confuse the DPI change, but a reflash of the DPI zip fixed it for me in 7.0 (and I haven't messed with it in 7.1.1).

Go into settings/apps then click on the cog in upper right corner. Now set your current diaper app as default for phone. This should fix your problem.
any chances to do a flashable zip that could work in all devices?
