I think this one may be better: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419699
more updated and all of them flashable zips (in custom recovery), no dd involved.

So from lurking around I read that there was a new sprint radio even newer than the. 27 baseband from the last official 2.1 ruu. I am currently on the. 29 from the Verizon desire because the signal is better as well longer battery life. Does anyone have an update.zip of the newest radio and if not could someone make one for all of us it would be greatly appreciated. Please correct me if there isn't a radio newer than the .27. Thankx

Good stuff.
latest radio available on this forum can be found in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523298
That said, latest doesn't necessarily mean the best, it depends on numerous other factors.
Going to give the 14_M radio a try and see if the differences btw this one and the 29_M radio.

Been running for a few hours and no significant difference between this radio and 29_M. Being Sunday, things are relatively quiet so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get a better handle on performance.

I did notice a significant difference in reliability and signal strength for both wifi and mobile signal when I first went to 29_M. Don't recall what radio I came from though.
UPDATE: No real difference for me 14_M and 29_M so I went back to 29_M.

Ok. That's the reason then. So there's really no other way to flash stock Rom without it being s-off? It can be any stock Rom odes or deodexed doesn't matter to me.

yea that's exactly what I'm trying to do . Is to return it to stock. I backed up stock Rom with twrp before I installed a different Rom but then when I restore back to stock Rom it worked fine a couple times then all of a sudden nuthing happens when I restore to stock Rom it's a blank screen.
