So, I was wondering, if someone (W_0_L_F probably ) could make a custom ROM based on GDR3 enabling only interop unlock and nothing else. I mean, no changes in registry, files, etc. except for the Interop unclock thing.
Can somebody make this, or guide me what to fiddle with in order to make it myself and maybe upload it for other users?

Well because it's not meant to work with OTA lol
It "used" to work, but support was removed, now detects OTA properly and advise you
Thanks for the reply

it will help a lot
what i need is to modify on this update (OTA_Legend_Froyo_S_hTC_Asia_WWE_3.15.707.3-2.05.707.1)
from
(OTA_Legend_Froyo_S_HTC_Egypt_3.30.466.6-1.27.466.7)
just from the patch files on these updates
any one could help, please

Your welcome, if you run into problems look at other custom roms to know how they set up the various maps inside the zipfile. That might help...well at least it helped me creating my rom.

Hello every body
I had jailbreaked my HD7 using chevronWP and it was working very well. but after updating to the mango (and then some other updates), chevron does not work any more.
Current version of OS on my phone is 7.10.7740.16
How can I Jailbreak it once again?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

you will need to downgrade OS and go through the unlock process, again.
i suggest just unlocking your Bootloader with XSPL and flashing a Custom ROM.
Waht's sh4d0w86 asking is the easyest way....
The other way was extreemly hard to complete cause you must but before every flashing the provxml in the windows folder after flashing you must start connection setup now the device was jailbreaked an the same again and you need the registry file for preventing the Unlock of the Jailbreak and at the end you don't have Interop-unlock
flashing a ROM with interop-unlock was the easyest way......
Are there any custom ROMs for mango version?
and are they updatable? and if yes, will they be locked if you update?

there are a lot of custom roms on mango that you find in forum, if you search for it.
unfortunately is not possible to update these custom rom's. you have to flash your device, if you want a new one. but with the backup-tools is that no problem.
the most custom rom's are full unlocked, even after hardreset.
you can't jailbreak an HD7 because its not an iPhone!!
You could developer unlock it and or interop unlock it though lol

thank you all, for replies.
For developer unlock i have to pay 99$ a day, and chevron tokens are sold out!
but, what does "interop" unlock mean actually?

jayjoyson is ill informed. all Custom ROMs are using version of Mango. also, there are Custom ROMs that are Zune update-able, e.g. intrinsicROM.

allows deployment of more than three sideloaded apps. to my knowledge, all Custom ROMs are Introp-Unlocked.

you will need to, at least, Developer Unlock your device; easily done via XSPL & a Custom ROM.
you will want to use Jaxbot's Orientation Lock app; can be found on XDA or Windows Phone Hacker.

i had written a tutorial, link in my signature. if any questions about the tutorial, feel free to ask in thread.
So what do guys think about the new installer and do you think it would support our device
The installer seems to be a great opportunity to anyone who does not know anything about flashing ROMs. It makes it accessible to everyone, but doesn't that mean that there will be more people who don't know what they're doing?

Your still going to have to unlock the bootloader to use the cyanogenmod installer.

That probably doesn't cover all device specific installation methods. You need to unlock the bootloader.
