For flashtool I installed fastboot and flashmode drivers only and so far no problems.
Regarding the SEUS, the Dutch SEUS does have the SP available, so I don't know what about that

Mine SEUS has it also!I think PC Companion provides a function almost identical to repairing the phone.Just click two or one times "check for updates" (or something like this) and it should say to reinstall android(Same job as SEUS I think).

Hello. I'm in deep ****. I was studying chemistry and I saw the new update of GingerDX v30. I downloaded it and decided to reboot my phone and install it. So yeah, I did.
Now, I try to turn it on and only the "Sony Ericsson" logo appears. That's it.
I cannot enter the xrecovery, and my computer doesn't detect my phone.
What to do now?
Please, help ASAP.

use pcc, seus, or flashtool(+stock rom) to repair it. you're on stock kernel, right?
[cAs]
Install the drivers.
Charge your phone fully. This is very important. Sometimes phone doesn't get recognized. Have patience. Put it on charging . Download SEUS(sony ericsson update service) to your computer and install it. connect your phone to PC and run SEUS. All the other steps are self explanatory in that tool. It installs Stock kernel and stock ROM. This is the easiest process and safest method in my view. Good luck
Hello,
I just got an used Xperia Z I and I immediately wanted to root it. I has the newest firmware and so tried this guide by DooMLorD. The thing is I can't get past the second step. This is what I get:

As you can see, the Wipe option is empty and pressing the flash button won't flash it anyways. Unknown sources and usb debugging is turned on
and it's connected in flash mode. Can you help me out?
Firstly, just to make sure that you have everything setup properly and are following the correct procedure - How to flash stock roms with Flashtool
Next; the wipe option is not supposed to be there, as the FTF doesn't contain /data (or anything but the kernel).
And finally, I do not connect my phone in flashmode until after pressing the 'Flash' button and being prompted to. Give that a try.

Thank you for the reply. It was like you said. Connect in flash mode after Flashtool prepped the kernel. Silly me, but I am happy now
Looking forward to tinker with the phone with the help of this wonderful community
Happy to have helped.

For Xperia Z series devices, you must use version 9.13. please read the OP on flashtool page on XDA. it is clearly advised.
also download Flashtool-drivers-1.5-20140318 file from same page and install drives by double clicking file downloaded then tick flashmode & fastboot drivers and common drivers for Lagan, Fusion3 board devices.
In the phone, check developer options are enabled, USB debugging and unknown sources under security

You need to disable "Driver signature enforcement" on windows 8.1.
Follow this guide.
Then follow DoomLord's tutorial or this video.

Looks like you'll need to revert back to stock. You can get the firmware with Xperifirm software on your PC.
Then flash the phone with FlashTool.
It's been a while since I did this on my XZ2c so I can't provide more details, but reading about those two links should get you started.

Try using Sony Companion. SOMC Flash Device using same fastboot command so can be faked to fastboot.
