Please no, don't even try. It's not even a game, and it was built in such a way that you constantly fail.

I love Flappy Bird , it's epic

So say all of us.

I sideloaded it, yes.
apkgalaxy.com
It is slower than normal, which you might think is a good thing, but the bird jumps about a tenth of a second after you tap the screen... which makes it more challenging. My high score on my watch is 11, as opposed to 30 on my phone lol

How did you sideload it and does it stick after reboot or does it disapear are you on pure samsung stock rom?

There are a ton of videos on YouTube and instructions in these forums on how to side load. I have stock Gear, with a few added applications (calculator, Cut The Rope, Flappy Bird, Ming Games, etc)
No hanging. Like I said, it runs fine, just a hair slower than on the phone.

That don't look like a galaxy gear screenshot?

Would anyone be willing to sell me their Galaxy gear with flappy bird installed for $2500? I was going to buy one on Craigslist but he wouldn't come down from his asking price of $3500. I would need a guarantee that the gear will come with the game pre installed. Thank you.

He'll you can have mine for that price if you wish if it makes you flappy happy.

I know I took one look on gumtree here in uk people have gone mad it's like a plague and it's spreading.

This thread is pointless because the high scores can easily be manipulated to any score you want. Just simply navigating to where the game saves and changing values.

New Android Gaming Blog

Hi All,
I have started a new blog called Android Gaming Reviews, specifically to cover and review the best games the Android platform has to offer. We focus mainly on the major publishers but do cover independent games if they pass our desk and offer a quality experience. I'd love to hear your opinions on the site as far as content or style. I aim to have a couple of reviews published per week, with news thrown in when available.
Check it out, subscribe, comment and feel free to send in or request your own game reviews!!

Thanks very much ognimnella! If there is a particular game you'd like to review on your device I'd love to see a sample (obviously one that hasn't already been reviewed). Just email to [email protected] and we can go from there.

Nexus Excitement

I know many are just excited as I am about the N4 so I want to talk about all the good things about it. Is anyone else more anxious about the phone because of the lack of the press event? I find myself checking every couple hours for a good hands on video to admire. Ahhh, the nexus butterflies all over again

The only hands on videos are from reviewers at a Google demo. Actual review units have been sent out already apparently. We will have to wait until the NDA lifts to see the results though and I imagine it will not be until the week of release.

I think separately looking on what you get in the box on the play store page. When the verge did their video it was still in prototype.

Nexus 5 User Benchmark Thread - With Added Competition!

So, now that a few of us are finally getting our hands on the devices, let’s get some proper user benchmarks going! Mine should be with me in the next couple of days, but hopefully there’s enough people with phones now to get a good set! Let's see how the snapdragon 800 with pure android compares with the rest of the pack...
EDIT - Let's get a leader board going! I'll only post scores backed up with a screenshot showing the score. (Yes, I know, benchmarks don't really mean that much...)
Geekbench 2 - 4,961 - Simms22
Antutu - 40,723 - Simms22
Quadrant - 30,497 - Simms22
Linpack - 1259 - Simms22
Sunspider - 536 ms (Chrome (/beta)) - Simms22
3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited - 17902 - Newbieandroid
Some suggestions to get going (obviously there will be more that people can run if they want)
Sunspider
GFXBench (GLBenchmark 2.7)
3D Mark
Google Octane
Mozilla Kraken
BrowserMark (2.0)
Vellamo
Linpack
Quadrant
AntuTu
Also it would be nice to see what the read/write speeds of the internal memory are like, so if anyone could post those up it would be great!
Here you go for an antutu for ya

So you want to tell me that clocking higher like 10-15% S600 should match S800? sorry but but that's just not possible there is an issue with the N5 being tested imho, the S800 should destroy the S600 no matter of the cheats, they are equal on the graphs.
A bit dissapointed with the results....

Not sure what your on about... The note 3 has a snapdragon 800 not a 600
Edit: Oh if you mean the s4, I believe that's the octa core variant not snapdragon. Don't quote me though
And let's not forget, Samsung and others put loads of optimisations for benchmarks that increase the scores, if you had the n4 I'm sure you would have heard of the dalvik patches from the s4? They increased benchmarks from 17-18 to 21k without any oc.

surprised people in this forum actually still believe in benchmarks.
the sammy phones as well as other brands cheat.
motorola and google do not 'tweak' to get better benchmarks.
Google crap always comes without dalvik and krait optimisations. Those scores were totally expected.
Give xda devs some time and they will sort it.

Please for the love of God, forget AnTuTu! It's easy to rig and it measures I/O, memory etc., and inconsistently, therefore it doesn't give usable individual benchmarks.
Nexus 5 owners need to run AnandTech's test apps, 3D Mark, Sunspider, Browsermark, Vellamo, Basemark, GLBenchmark, Epic Citadel and Google Octane.

I woulndt want a gshock even if they where free, have owned one in my life and never ever again.. so ugly, so bulky and *beep*.
You know the gear isnt waterprotected at all right ? you cant even take a shower with it, thats how my first gear died You cant compare a gshock to something like the galaxy gear, two very different products.
