Does anyone know where to get a new battery cover for like really cheap, I have been using my extended life battery for a while and can't find my case battery or battery cover....
Google is just giving me results for the 3200 mah battery and cover.
Thanks for the help!

Contact HTC with the number that was provided in the other thread and ask them what they can do for you. I haven't heard about them giving out replacement batteries so they might force you to buy the original from google.com/phone, but they should be able to provide a back cover for you.
I ordered a replacement back cover on eBay for $30 shipped
Thanks guys. I haven't looked yet its been a busy weekend but what other thread are you talking about for that number? I'll be at work all day with web guard so I can't do anything really thats not on my nexus lol.

You should be able to buy a spare battery straight from google.com/phone. $25 i believe.
Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a 3rd party battery replacement for my 2x. I have some concerns and questions.
1. Are they safe or rather, how safe are they? I do understand that by using them my warranty will be void, right?
2. The 3500mAh increases the size by a lot I am presuming, so is there something in between like a 2300mAh?
The batteries which I am looking at our located here and here.
Any suggestions?
yes me too, same question...

hey Girls,
i have one of them.
the Battery is double of the original thickness,
by charging it dosnt heat but it need the double time for charging,
the lifttime with one charging feels about double then the orginal
and if you look at the production details there is witten "Stable and safety with circuit protection" and i think its truh
the battery cover fits OK but only on top its about 0.15mm to big.
i use them for wifi hotspot in park or by travel
the delivery from the ebay seller is about 1,5weeks from HongKong to germany

Hi, thanks for the info. A little more detail regarding the Mugen extended battery for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note. 1.Is the NFC antennae in the door? (and working?) 2.Does the door fit securely? 3.Mugen only offers battery door in black color--Our Tmbo phones are navy blue, does the door match?
Thanks in advance, appreciate you taking the time!

Re color, I haven't carefully looked at the battery cases in the light to see a difference but it looks like it matches the T-Note to me. For me the only part of the note that 'has' color is the battery cover so by replacing it entirely with the Mugen battery cover I don't notice a mismatch. Also cannot see a difference between the bezel color and the mugen case cover (except for gloss).
Re nfc the antennas are there. I haven't tested it yet.
Re fit, one of the clips on my back cover is broken, so mine does not fit perfectly there (upper right corner over volume rocker when looking at the back of the phone). All other clips snap into place perfectly so I think a new/unbroken cover would work perectly.

It's a separate battery with a backcover...adds bulk.

anyone know if this fits the U.S. note with the mugen extended battery? I know it says the international version only but i'm not sure if that would be too much of an issue

I bought that same case on Amazon. It works on the extended battery I have, although my battery back is different than the Mugen (forgive me I don't know how to post a link but here is the info if anyone wants to search on Amazon):
Brand New 5200mAh Extended Battery+Dark Blue NFC Back Cover Door For att Samsung i717 Galaxy Note LTE by BestMatchSold by RKWireless and Fulfilled by Amazon.
I like the case you inquired about however the power button is very difficult to press. That's my only complaint, however I have not found any other case options for Notes w/ extended batteries!
FYI for anyone interested, I am pleased with my off brand battery. I originally wanted the Mugen because of their reputation and the flat back w/stand however Mugen could not tell me if the NFC on their door worked w my Tmobile Note. I didn't want to risk it for almost $100. The off brand battery was $20bucks (even cheaper now) and so far is great. Gives me twice the usage. Beware though as the NFC on my phone doesn't work though and am now waiting for a replcmt door from Rkwireless.

nfc works on my mugen 5400mah extended battery. I love this battery! I went camping this weeknd. Watched a full movie with full brightness, took over 50 pictures, used to it text, call, check email, check facebook and used it as a flashlight at night. I unplugged it at 4pm friday and only needed to plug it back in at 930am sunday (today). It was down to 9% at that point. thats 41.5hrs on a single charge. thank you mugen!
*mine came with a mugen pouch too. did anyone else get that? I hadn't heard of anyone else getting a pouch/case with the battery until i got mine. I ordered the hyperion case but they sent me the wrong one, but the pouch works until amazon can send me the right case.
thanks for the info that the NFC works on the Mugen, good to know! Update: I received the newbattery back from RKwireless for my off brand extended battery but the NFC still doesn't work with that one either.
Almost 11 hrs screen time with screen on FULL BRIGHTNESS.love the mugen battery

How are the mugen extended batteries doing? Any other good options? I would like to use one for when I go out of town for business. I typically have to leave early in the morning and then return home later in the evening. I have trouble staying in one place long enough to charge my phone, and I keep forgetting the second battery I bought. It would be nice to snap the extended battery on the night before, charge it, and then not worry if I have enough juice to get back home without carrying extra wires, batteries etc. I could get an external 10,000mah battery, but trying to travel light. I already left behind a charger in the TSA security area. When I realized it and returned it was gone (of course).
I ended up just buying an Anker Astro e3 with 10,000mah of power for when I need to bring it. It's working great so far. Nice to know I can fully charge my phone four times with it if I'm on the standard battery.
Just bought a Note 2, currently I have a Galaxy S3 with the official extended battery. This gives a small increase in capacity (3000mAh) and also a small amount of thickness added on compared to standard.
Most of the extended batteries for the Note 2 are huge, I am curious to know if anyone has experienced any trusted extended batteries, possibly an extra 1000mAh+, but only adding a small thickness to the phone like the official one for S3, instead of the large batteries like Zerolemon etc.
I've been looking for something like that too. Haven't found one yet. I don't like the bulk that the big extended batteries add to the already huge device.
they are all double the size of the normal battery nothing thinner.

I dont see the point of buying a thin extended battery. If you want more battery life then get MORE battery life.

Well I don't need a battery that lasts for 4 days or whatever, just slightly longer than stock. And I do not wish to increase the thickness of the phone 2x, 3x etc for extra power that I don't need.
The genuine extended for the S3 was the perfect solution, I just wish similar existed for the Note 2.

I have had this same range for my HTC One X. When the battery feeds the device, it constantly told me that the power used is larger than it receives from the battery. So, this is bad!
When the device is off and the battery is full, it is possible to charge the internal device to approximately half full, so this is bad!
ut, worse is to come: My device dropped by accident and, because of this heavy load together with missing protection for the glass (device does NOT protect the face of the device!) the gorilla glass broke to several pieces.
So, unless this is a completely different type (which I doubt!), you better NOT try this one!

Oups ! Thank you very much , too bad, I ordered one already (I liked the idea)
20$ wasted but at least I know I should not use it - or if I do, use maximum caution
Thanks a lot for letting me know, I'll report back is I go crazy enough to try it
What puzzles me is how you supposed to connect it. The case has a built in battery with two pins sticking out in the back. Then you have 2 sets of conductive wires to run from the battery to the phone? Where do you connect it on the phone, wireless charging pins or something? If you have Verizon phone, those not even available on the back, etc.

It looks like something you have to put inside, between battery and connectors.
The end will stick out of the phone. I think it has some glue so it will stick somehow on the case.
After that's connected, you can put the phone onto the external battery and the metal tips of the external battery will fit 'nicely' the glued metal stuff.
My One X already had those connectors for connecting to car etc.
I sure would not like this adaptation of my phone...
Hello,
Today I tried to replace the battery.
The battery I ordered from Ali looks like this:
http://imgur.com/GgNyfYe
The battery inside my phone looks like this:
http://imgur.com/2xTEzV8
As you can see it has a brown sticker print thingy on the battery inside the phone.
I've watched some battery replacement video's on youtube and some phones have it also and some phones don't have it.
So it's confusing.
My question is. Can I replace the battery without that brown sticker thing?
What is the function?
And why are there phones that don't have it on their battery?
Many many thanks!
That "brown sticker thing" is the NFC antenna. You should re-attach it to the new battery.

The nfc antenna it is not required when you not pay of the smartphone. But better this to have it. NFC Antena is very delicate and easly damaged this flex.
