Why don't you ask Frapeti on his thread? He made that app. To see what is the problem.

Yes, if you make it Odin flashable. But I am not sure if it is possible on CM, I never did it.
You can use dd command in terminal emulator, but be very carefull. It is explained on CoCore thread I think.
P.S. There was some other app for PC to flash kernel. Look on our section, if I find it I will post you here.
Here it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2119676
It does the same like you would in terminal emulator with dd command, and Universal Kernel flasher is doing the same. Just with GUI.

Make sure you have the Java SDK installed and the path is set in enviroment variables.
Check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=990238
Also make sure all the framework files are in orig_frame

Well .tft are in fact zip files with different extension
It's possible that browser "detected" it as zip and changed extension by itself
Something for Neo ?

[Q] Dual boot - I need stock kernel.md5

Hello,
I am trying to dual boot my device using the instructions of BOOTMGR, which you can find in this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521917
But when I am in CM I need the stock kernel, which is an '.md5' file. When I extract the stock firmware from sammobile, I get two bin.md5 files.
I also tried this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1873119 but it is also an .bin.md5 file, and both bin.md5 files don't work. Does anyone know where I can find the stock.md5 file, or how I can get it/convert it?
Thanks.
Take cocore kernel and rename it to stock.md5

I did this: I extracted the 'cocore.tar.md5' file. Then I got the 'cocore.bin.md5' file and I renamed this to 'stock.md5'. I placed this file in the stock folder and now it is stuck again on bootscreen.
So I got this on my device: 'Dual Boot'>'Stock'>stock.md5.

I tried it with Paranoid Android and then with CM10.2. If i don't change the kernel it just boots the custom rom. If I change the kernel I need to flash the stock firmware so it will work again.
First before you do anything with dual boot, flash odin. After you got the original firmware then flash cocore kernel. After that take cocore kernel md5 file renamed in into stock.md5 and put it into respective folder. Hope this works for you because it works for me
