Since the update to 4.4.2 I have noticed that i can no longer search my contacts by company. I do have the search by company selected in the options. I was wondering if this was a problem for anyone else or if i am missing something.

I installed the latest Google voice app, it has the kool new contact strip and the option for in box synchronization on the nexus one and the droid as ive witnessed. But when i install it on the G1 with a 2.1 rom i get the contact strip, but its missing the option for inbox synchronization.
Are us G1 users stuck without push still 5 minute check ins only?
Anyone know a hack or fix for this? thanks
PS. i tried pulling the apk from a droid that had the option, but when i install the exact same apk on the G1 i dont get the inbox sync option.
anyone? i mean who dose not want push?

It appears that this is only a problem on Kings roms, he drops the ball allot
Just use super eclair and you get the sync options, plus its far faster.
Hey guys. Searches didn't bring up anything I could use. When I flash any 4.4 aosp rom (I don't use sense) most of my phone contacts don't show under hangouts or the contacts app. So if I want to send a text to "mom" I have type in the phone number and oddly enough the name "mom " will appear at the top of the new thread. I tried searching if I need to merge my contacts with Google plus and such. I honestly have no idea what is the problem. Not a bad gapps flash, made sure if that. Help!

I have a problem that I am trying to find a way to work-around. I use the app conference caller and IMO it is a fantastic app for people like me who have to join multiple calls on a conf bridge. Till recently I have used a variety of phones from note3 to MI Redmi1s to moto X to moto G and it worked perfectly fine on either the company ROM or custom ROMs.
I recently picked up a OnePlusOne (OPO) and since then have seen that this particular app does not work as expected, ie., when trying to join a conf with the dial out number as well as the leader/attendee PIN, it just comes to the dialer and stops there.
I am not sure if the app is broken or the phone does not support certain apps. Well, I need to have a way of using a one-touch call to get onto my conference and I was wondering if there is a way to use outlook calendar events to import/dial out directly from my phone with the right toll-free code.
I did not see any similar posts/messages and hence am putting this up. If there are threads addressing this topic already, please point me to the the right thread and much appreciated. If not, would appreciate if anyone out there has a solution that works out of the box.
I am OK to use either the native email/calendar app or Touchdown for my outlook sync.

Hi guys.
I've noticed that my Google Voice Commands stopped working. When I'am trying to call someone, my voice is well recognized but contacts are not found. Double-checked that I've them enabled in my google settings.
Not sure if I'm right, but maybe this problem started after rooting my phone.
Anyone got the same issue?
Used to be able to search contacts through the search bar. It also provided smart results by showing people that I actually call if I had multiple contacts with same first name. Looks like google turned off the feature with android 11 update. I was able to keep the functionality previously by uninstalling the updates on the "google" app. But it doesn't look like it works anymore. It's so annoying not be able to do it.
Does anyone know how to get the feature back?
