[Q] [Xperia T] Questions about 4.3 update - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

I have an Xperia T that I got from T-Mobile Hungary, currently using a flashed 9.1.A.1.145 firmware that is Orange Poland based.
1. Does PC Companion see my phone as T-Mobile Hungary (based on IMEI) or as Orange Poland (based on the current ROM)?
2. Does the update to 4.3 delete user data or it simply upgrades system/apps and leaves data intact?

I also have a question... How do you switch USB debugging on in the new 4.3 rom... can't find developer options in the menu's now..

Press 7 times on android version.

Sony Xperia V (LT25i) Jelly Bean update rolling out now

I live in the UK and just connected my Sony Xperia V to computer updated Jelly Bean via PC Companion. The Jelly Bean firmware is rolling out now.
Same here. Allready updated. Norway.
So the Nordic OTA update is active. Haven't received the update yet I live in Norway as well and no update so far.
Sent from my LT25i using xda premium
morsti, did they actually start pushing it OTA?.. Any links to confirm this?
All I saw to this day were SEUS/PCC/Bridge-only updates available.
This must be one of the very rare moment when the official update is faster than the custom developers.

Installing RomAur v4.1 UB - LB on C6603 Locked Baseband

Hi,
I just want to get sure, that i understand the installation process for updating the xperia z from an unbranded 10.1.A.1.434 Firmware (rooted) to RomAur v4.1 UB - LB C6603 1.253.
My device is currently running with an unbranded 10.1.A.1.434 Firmware (with root), Bootloader Unlock allowed: NO
1) Downloaded RomAur v4.1 UB - LB C6603 1.253 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167064
1 - Root your device 1.350 / 1.434 - Goroh_kun's
2 - Install CWM recovery 6.0.2.8 for locked bootloaders - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2187363
3 - Copy rom to ext sdcard
5 - Enter to recovery
6 - Make sure to do a Factory Reset/ Wipe data / system/cache before installing ROM
7 - Install rom
8 - Reboot system
9 - On disable flash recovery stock say no to get init.d support
10 - Reboot
10 - Open flashtool and install only kernel.sin 1.253
10 - Enjoy
At step 10 I need an unbranded stock .253. Which one? Central Europe, Unbranded German? From this Stock Rom i only have to flash the Kernel, as discussed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2167064&page=146 ?
Thanks for help!
is that right?

[Q] How to install Sony Android 4.4 on a rooted Xperia Z.

HI, I rooted my Xperia Z to 4.3 Android (Sony's version) but I can't install Sony's version of 4.4 android via Sony's PC Companion software as I have rooted the device and unlocked the bootloader.
Also, if I get 4.4 on my Xperia Z, how to root that?
Thanks

Maybe you should investigate what the latest Android version is instead of asking something that no one will be able to answer.
Link me one 4.4 topic plz.

The latest official android version for sony xperia z is 4.3, but you can download custom rom for your device, by installing clockwork mode and then flashing the rom.
You can search over for the custom recovery and how to install it and then just download your desired kitkat rom and copy it to the phone, then flash it in recovery mode.
Cheers.

I would add, and remind you, that a unlocked bootloader is required in order to install whatever cyanomodgen rom

What's the best Android version for Xperia Z?

Hi all. Now I bought a Xperia Z C6603, tired of my Galaxy S3 GT-i9300.
It's branded and customized by Orange operator, and it's currently running 4.4.4.
I want to debrand the debloat the phone, but I'm wondering about the benefits of upgrading to newer Android versions.
Do the phone get faster? Slower? Do the battery last longer? Or shorter?
I'd appreciate your comments.
Thanks all.
the latest official ROM of Z is Lollipop 5.1.1 .222 or .228 firmware version (in my country is .222) wich in my opinion is the fastest official ROM but not a battery friendly.
If you wanna go higher, just root, unlock your bootloader, install latest TWRP and flash LOS 7.1.2. This ROM is nice.
Don't forget to backup your TA partition before unlocking.
