It appears the ROM is not flashing properly... What version of TWRP

Try flashing with WCX because TWRP sometimes screws up when flashing to partitions.

I've installed the CM 10.1 to my vivid, I flashed the boot.img using fastboot usb, and installed the rom via TWRP 2.4.4.0. before any install i used the all the wipe functions im suppose too.
When it finally boots it works for like maybe a 1 sec and then reboots. What did I do wrong?

Use wcx recovery in version 2.2 of hasoons toolkit. Wipe system, dalvik, cache, data, and do a factory reset all in wcx recovery then flash the rom then flash the correct gaps for cm10.1 or android 4.2.2 then go into the bootloader (advanced option) then flash the boot.img (fastboot flash boot boot.img)

Your device mobo is probably going bad and needs more power than usual to run it. Sorry. If i can get linux to boot I'll send a kernel your way to flash and see if it fixes the problem
Try overvolting the CPU, with an init.d script, that should stop it freezing up, init.d because you won't have a chance of doing it with an app

In the bootloader boot a recovery if you are s-on
"fastboot boot recovery recovery.img"
Sultans thread (android12345*) his kernel thread has details on how to do it
If you are s-off just flash this. This has higher voltages. Maybe itll help ya

Please send a kernal. Also, how would I flash it without S-off. Could this also cause digitizer issues? i've been seeing like a 10% line in my phones that spams touch now.

Ah okay. I would then flash a custom recovery. You can access the bootloader correct? What method did you use to install the rom? Clean flash or wipe is when you erase all the phone's system files, leaving a blank slate for a new rom to be installed on, and should be done before installing a brand new rom to avoid any issues.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568662
This is the link to the recovery image I used, it's the latest clockwordmod touch recovery. Very easy to flash as long as you have fast boot setup correctly. Once you have a working recovery you should be able to try a re-flash.

Was the recovery still stock or was a custom one flashed? Which process did you follow to root the phone? Since you can't access the recovery at the moment is suggesting it is stock. A failed rom install shouldn't corrupt recovery

On the bootloader now, i can do a factory reset. Can it be a solution ? will it or not delete the root ?

I'm not sure, since you have tried to flash another rom, a factory reset might not solve the issue. Trying shouldn't brick the phone but I can't say for sure, sorry!

Nice! Glad you have working recovery. Yes I would reinstall the rom now, and I would recommend that you wipe the system files, (except SD Card partition of course) to reduce the chance of boot loops etc

Could you send me a link to the rom you flashed? Try downloading a different rom. As you can't boot a ROM your only option may be to use ADB to push a new ROM onto your phone's storage.
See this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317989

It may have been a bad download. There isn't really any reason for it to not work, although it does say on the page it "You need TRWP 2.6.3.3 custom recovery!"
Not to worry, you can flash it in no-time. Ok so just as before, just flash a new recovery (again) and use the latest image from here: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7/
This should allow you to install the rom as the developers intend. It is strange though, i've never encountered a rom where a specific recovery was needed.

hello there,
so earlier i was trying to flash my htc one m7 with android 62.0 but it seems it wasn't a success because now my phone is just stuck in a boot loop and i cant get into recovery mode anymore. Now its been awhile since i flashed a rom, i had android hd 31.0 before that so i thought id update it but its seems its gonna be a bit harder that that. my phone is showing s-on with hboot 1.55 and i used clockwork to flash the rom. now could i get some advice as to how i could get this android hd 62.0 to work on my htc? or should i just try to revert to what i used to but the problem is the old rom isn't on my phone anymore and i was never able to find the stock rom for my phone (rogers canada m7). any advice here ?
If you have an old CWM, try upgrading it first. With newer OSs, something in the Android install procedure has changed. You need a recovery that's at least as new as TWRP 2.6.3.3. To get back to recovery, try using the power+volume down button to get to fastboot mode, and use the computer for "fastboot erase recovery" and "fastboot erase cache". Then boot to recovery.

If only you had read the instructions...

That you need a more recent version of your recovery...
Which is part of a kernel...
So flash raw kernel...
And then flash C-Rom...

To Flash ANY/ALL KK Based Roms (4.4+) you need base recovery 0f 6.0.4.4+. Can you still reboot to recovery? What rom vers are you previously on? Rooted? What recovery? If your charging port has been damaged, how are you gonna charge your phone? Get it repaired ASAP before doing anything else. Loss of battery during Rom flashing can make your phone a nice desk decoration.

Do you still remember your Stock Rom's Build number? If yes, then you can try downloading philz safe kernel with recovery that is compatible with your build number, flash it in cwm recovery, then reboot to RECOVERY, from there do a factory reset wipe, all formats (system, data, cache, preload) wipe dalvik cache (If you don't understand any of the terms I mentioned above, please go to philz page and read) and Flash a TW BASED custom rom first (you can find and download any rom as long as it's TW based). See if that boots.
Ultimately you WILL need that charging/USB Port fixed so please make that a TOP Priority

@annie22 you could also download any JB kernel (if you were on JB) of philz and flash it in recovery, reboot recovery, then flash Raw kernel r4 or r5 and reboot recovery and from there flash C-Rom or any other KK rom. You can use any philz kernel irrespective of the build number as long as you are using it only to flash another kernel and then rom of your choice. Make sure to download the .zip version of the philz kernel and put that and raw kernel and rom on external sd card. Keep back up of these kernels and roms on pc as well so that you can connect memory card to pc and transfer those files back to card, as it so happened that i while doing full wipe on philz kernel it also wiped my external card.

Never relock your bootloader if your using a custom rom or recovery, so first of all, get it unlocked again.
which kernel did you flash ?
bulletproof kernel.. is there a guide to do that or can i follow the following one:

I believe bullet proof is a sense only kernel, CM is an asop rom not a sense rom.
Just unlock your bootloader at HTC Dev,
Once its unlocked, you might get lucky and just be able to flash a correct kernel to get booting again, failing that you'll either have to flash a new rom or restore your backup.
Sorry that took long it now says unlocked. How do i go about install cyanogenmod again or do i have to install a stock?

Try flashing an AOSP kernel now, something like this one, hopefully after that your phone will boot back to CM.

is your backup a CM rom or a sense rom ?

yes the rom will still be there if it was only a factory reset, if you did an advanced wipe inside something like TWRP then it wont.
Factory reset just restores whatever rom is on your phone to the state it was at when you first installed it, ie you will just have to set it back up again with email addresses and passwords, carrier and country etc after it boots.

you will need to enter recovery, push or sideload it to your internal sdcard and then flash it in recovery.
