I have a 64GB Sandisk Ultra Micro SD XC Class 10 UHS-1, it works on my captivate glide but has anyone tried it on the RAZR yet?

dj_mol3y_x8 I don't understand for what you are posting worthless answer.
Iam using 64gb card and everything works fine. But you must remember to format card to fat32, cause card is formated with exfat and our android doesn't support this format

I just format mine directly in phone and works fine. No performance drop after turning to San Disk 64GB SDXC.

How is that a worthless answer? The official specifications, motorola.co.uk/Motorola-RAZRi/m-Motorola-RAZR-i.html#specs-gb , only state support of a maximum 32GB microSDHC card. My point is that your mileage may vary in the use of a 64GB SDHC card.
What kind (make & model) of 64GB SDHC card are you using?

YEp, mine too - 64GB SanDisk ULTRA MICRO SDXC CLASS10, although I do not reach the 30MB.
I wonder if any1 got a 128GB Card working... I never found out any intel on that....

Your answer was pointless, just like your begging for thanks in the same post.
And your reaction now is more than childish.

Hey all,
Just registered on XDA after a friend recommended I join.
I have owned the P880 now for about 4 weeks and would like to expand my 16gb SDHC card to a MUCH larger size in order to ditch my iPod.
Here's my query:
I got my 4X HD from Amazon Germany and on the LG Germany website it says you can expand the SD card to 64gb, but everywhere else I have read that its 32GB - who is right?
Also, can you use SDXC cards in the P880? I'm not sure if the phone has the right drivers for SDXC.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Adam
Yes I'm pretty sure 64gb micro sdxc cards will work with O4X, I think I've read some people here say it worked on their P880. 64gb micro sdxc cards even work on devices as old as SGS1, although not officially supported. Not sure though if it will support exfat but it should run on fat32.
Hey,
64gb sd ist the maximum u can extend the phone. but it only supports fat32.

im planning to buy o4xhd, but can it runs on exFAT...
because if it is only support fat32, i will reconsider it...
thank you...
Hello. Sorry for the bump.
Does it support 64gb+ntfs?
Thanks.
Hi
All the specs i se say that the Razr I has a 32gb limit for microc SD cards - a few people here have said (in passing) they have 64gb cards. So I was wondering whjat people have got working - the price of 64gb card in the UK is getting around the £35 - £25 was my "Buy pint" for the 32gb I have - doubling that would be cool.
Eserim
I use a 64GB microSD class 10 card on my RAZR i. It doesn't use all of the storage, just about 53+GB but it still works fine.

There is a post in the accessories forum with other 64gb users.
I have 59GB usable with my Sandisk which is the same model listed above.
'Sandisk Ultra 64GB Class 10 Micro SD Card with SD Adapter - FFP'
53gb seems like a big loss? Maybe the cluster size you chose wasn't the best choice?
The 32 limit is to do with windows by default will not make a fat32 partition bigger than 32gb so just use a 3rd party partition tool to make it 64gb.
I use the one from www.partitionwizard.com
Also don't format to exfat as the phone won't read it.

Totally missed that thread - I did search, honest I even googled it!
Hi. Has anyone tried to format it as exFAT or format directly from the device?

I've seen many reports of that 64gb works just fine. Same with other models as well.
It's just that samsung doesn't test full functionallity with bigger sd than 32gb.
Like for SGSII, Samusng IS stating it supports up to 32GB but I'm using Sandisk Ultra Micro SD SDXC UHS-I 64GB on mine, though I never tried it on SGSIII Mini. I mounted old 8GB class 6 there as my wife does not need more and it was just collecting dust. I could swap for a quicky test, but it's not going to tell you anything re stability etc, just if it mounts or not. I don't want to do it as my wife is using her phone all the time and I really can't see the point in taking it over for the day and waiting ... for something/anything.
Mind you - Sandisk Ultra Micro SD SDXC UHS-I 64GB can be really defective and I trust I was very lucky to get a good one.
The 64GB card's working just fine in my phone, "internal SD-external SD swap" script and all.
Thanks
Great, thanks everyone!

64Gb works fine. I use a Sandisk Ultra class 10.
SanDisk Ultra 64gb here also
Transformer TF701t / XDA Premium HD
Yeah, if you can swing it, make sure to get one that is minimum of UHS1 (which is equal to or better than Class 10). The IO pathways appear to be _MUCH_ better on this model. If it can swing USB3, it can handle the IO throughput of a higher rated card. I would imagine with a better kernel we might eventually be able to handle larger SD and Micro SD cards.

The TF700 can so I suppose the TF701 will support it also.
you can install the application on the sd card with android 4.3 version. thank you
I feel stupid posting to a thread that's 4+ yrs old but I need to know. Does the dock have issues reading a micro SD Card with adapter? I bought this device last year used. All is good except I prefer to watch movies from the dock SD card port. The card goes it great and a firm push it clicks into place, but no response from the device. Does not show up in ASUS File Manager app. Completely stock and locked bootloader running v4.4.2 and 11.4.1.29 with DEC 18 2014 kernel. Every thing else on dock works well except for the wobble. I cut two pieces of credit card like strips to tighten the fit and it work well. My micro SD Card w/ adapter is good and works fine in my Win7 PC. That's how I put movies/music on the card. Card and adapter are SanDisk micro SD XC I Ultra Plus .

I got the 32 gb samsung sd hc I class 10 and it rocks. Thanks guys for your suggestions.
I use a SanDisk Ultra MicroSDXC 64 Go Class 10, it work PERFECTLY in my SP even if normally it "support only" 32GB .
I just format it in FAT32, because some of root-app (i.e. FolderMount) don't like very much exFAT x)
I heard some said that even 128GB microSD is working with XSP
