Fyi, supposedly, s2 sucks, meizu dual core is Bette

I'm basically being ganged up by two meizu owners trying to get rid of their phone, laughing because they think it's so much Bette than anything, even as good as the s3 and note. Supposedly the galaxy s2 is horrible... Lol

People are such dicks. And I'm talking about the replies on this thread, not the meizu owners. I've never handles a meizu phone but I've heard plenty of good things about them, but this sounds like a blind fanboy argument. The GS2 is still great even though we have the GS2 runt but at this point there are a lot of phones that are better than the t989. It would help if you got what meizu model they have lol.

Well after reading this review I'm surprised by the Meizu MX 2 core. Its got the exynos 4210/Mali 400 SoC we wish we had in the t989, a higher Res screen, better build quality. As far as I can see the t989 only wins at camera quality (barely..), a bigger screen with better picture quality and an SD card expansion, and of course dev support. I'd say both have pros and cons but are essentially on par.

Well said, although I believe personally the super amoled plus display makes up for the resolution, the meizu has the same resolution as the HTC sensation for example on a basic 4 inch screen though.

This is a forum. People are free to discuss and debate on topics. Unless your definition of a forum like xda is a place to go download free **** other people pour their lives into to your phone without contributing and trolling other peoples posts. No wonder TDJ left. This place and its members are full of itself. I don't get it. It wasn't nearly as bad as this 3-5 years ago.

I think the problem stemmed from you just making a thread with a statement in it. You didn't ask any question and it would have been like me posting "I had a brown cat once, it was awesome" and then getting all *****y because people didn't assume I wanted a philosophical debate on why brown cats are superior to other cats.
After clearing it up by actually asking for feedback I think it was just people being snooty.
I haven't heard anything about those phones though. I might have to look up some reviews.

Becoming a tech journalist

As a child reading Nintendo Power (R.I.P) I always had thoughts of journalism. Now I have more of a interest in tech other than video games. I really want to give this a try. I would love to write about android and other tech maybe even back to video games . My only issue is I don't know where to start or what a lot of people want in written reviews and editorials. So my question is does anyone have any tips to get started. I have my own word press and I'm practicing writing the feed back would be great. I would be thankful for any help and hopefully I can get someone from the site to give me a few pointers

This thread is maybe the thread most needed on XDA Off Topic. At least to a person like me.
We have so many music threads, cultural and OT threads, but one of the gems of this world was left off: J-Rock!!!
This thread is for anything, anything and anything J-Rock.
I'll start off. My favorite J-Rock bands are High And Mighty Color, Orange Range, FLOW, and Uverworld.
Sadly H&MC isn't a band anymore
This thread was started by me because of an extremely great desire to learn more about J Rock. You can surf websites on websites but its really super hard to get info and personal opinion on Japanese music on websites.

Bruh there is so much lag on this jawn bruh . It's unbelievable son I can't stand this ish. I be trying to text my girl it lags , I snap chat it lags , I try to call my homies it lags . This makes Me want to drop the two hunnah to get my nexus cinco fixed . I'm pissed bruh ???????????????????????????????

I hate it when people create a new thread for an existing topic. I think it makes it difficult for people to find useful information because it gets scattered amongst the different threads. It only happens when someone fails to search first or when they feel that their opinion is so important that they deserve to have their own thread. The mods should move the few useful posts to the existing thread and remove this one altogether.

I completely agree. However, you should get use to it, because it will happen more and more. A popular phone means it's going to be popular with the lazy and ignorant as well. The only thing to do is use the "report" button to notify the mods.

I've been a member for several years. I'm used to it, but it seems to be happening a little more often now. I know that the mods have a lot of ground to cover. I'm usually reading through Tapatalk, and I haven't seen an option to report.
