Sure. When you need to continue, just right-click the file in IDM's window and select "Resume Download". IDM will give you a message that it's waiting for the website. At that time, whatever you do,don't close the window! Just open your browser,go to goo.im and navigate to the folder of the ROM. When the website says that the file is downloading,IDM will automatically grab the URL and resume downloading.

I had downloaded CM 11 like that.. but I was unable to install CM 11 in my kindle. It shows the error message. Can you help me by sharing setup file from your google drive? OR any file sharing site that support resume.
What was the error you got while flashing it?

I think you need to upgrade TWRP to 2.6.3.1 to install CM 11. Also,be sure to check the MD5 sum before flashing incase your download was corrupted.

Thanks for your suggestion.I have older version of TWRP (TWRP v2.4.4.0). What is the easiest method to upgrade it?.....MD5 sum of all the downloaded zip files are correct.
Easiest method is to download the flashable zip from the development section . I would post a link but I don't think you mentioned if it was a 8.9" kindle or a 7" kindle. And yes twrp has the be the latest version to flash cm 11.

Please use the Thanks button instead of saying thanks,it helps keep the forum clean. You can upgrade your recovery by either flashing a flashable zip or by directly flashing the image. Please refer to Hashcode's thread for that.

I pulled it from another thread but its working. There was an issue with the auto correction but it was resolved. Just make sure wherever you pull from has it corrected (ie, the file I downloaded had _fixed in the name)

I had issues with cwm failing to up date as well. So after some google fu I managed to get a working install.
1. Download the file found in this thread.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864033
2. Power down and reboot into cwm.
3. Select mounts and storage and then select mount system.
4. Install zip from sd and select the zip from step one.
5. Reboot and enjoy.
6. In settings>language&keyboard there should now be an option for android keyboard. Open the browser and long press the url bar. You should get a popup allowing you to select the android keyboard.
Does this "IMPORTANT NOTE: this ZIP file is a ClockWork Recovery update file ==> DO NOT USE IT !!! (it will remove your system odex files) Just unzip and grab the APK and SO files." apply to the G-Tablet too? That thread talks about SO files and stuff too. I take it nothing bad happened when you flashed it?

At first I tried the install with just the apk and so files and it didn't work for me.
As far as .Odex files I haven't seen any at all in the root folder.
So far I haven't had any fc's or issues what so ever.

I followed wingman_214s instructions and it worked perfect for me. No issues so far.
Ok. I'll take the plunge. Thanks.
EDIT: Took the plunge. Typing on it now and liking it so far. Thanks for the help.

I followed the instructions above ands while I can see the android keyboard under settings, clicking on the URL space on my browser only pops up the starndard TnT keyboard. How long do I need to engage the URL space? I would like to test it.
Try the google search bar. Just press and hold you should get a pop up. Select "input method" the android keyboard should be an option.
i'm curious as to why people prefer this keyboard over the stock TnT keyboard. the TnT has bigger keys. the gingerbread has these small little "half" keys. annoying to type on. or do other roms not have that keyboard?
Hi.
I flashed Cyanogenmod 10 and I can't seem to find My Files. Does someone have some sort of copy that I can use? I tried flashing GAPPS tons of times but to no avail.

CM10 doesn't come with an explorer.
Grab a file manager from the Play Store. For example, ES Explorer or Root Explorer, just to name 2.

How does that relate to your original post?
From what I can tell, BT works fine in the KK CM10 build.
What model tab & version of CM10 are you using? And what exactly are you trying to achieve?

To get hold of a stock Android 4.0 "My Files" with Bluetooth included as a "Share As" option.
Root explorer has the option to "send" a file via bluetooth.
If you're bent on My Files specifically, just download a ROM you know has it (stock, I'm guessing), unzip it, and pull it out of the /system/apps folder.

Have you tried using 'Reset Phone' option from the Backub & reset menu?
Once reset the phone should download and restore the latest backup once you sign in to HTC & Dropbox accounts.
Could please someone post an .apk file for the latest HTC Backup (as per Play - 2.4.2315241567.599838.599838). I am having few issues and would like to try installing it manually.

+1 on this, I am on latest One X ROM and it says it is not compatible (however it is preinstalled and working OK)
Hello all,
This is my first question, and it might have already been answered but I just couldn't figure it out My last resort is to ask here, so thanks in advance for your help.
I just installed CM11 on my Nook HD (see attached image 1) and everything was working fine except for the fact that google apps was opening and then closing immediately. All my pre-CM11 apps were there and working fine. The problem was that when I tried to download new apps, GAPPs was just not working. I wiped out all the info and started from scracth, then tried to install from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942 , but just kept on getting error messages (see image 2).
I'm sure my fix is easy, so any suggestions are more than welcome!
Your picture is cut off so it does not show what version of CWM you are trying to flash the gapps package with. What version is it?
It is saying it cannot find the file /system/build.prop. Can you see that file with your file manager?

Hi,
I hope I'm answering properly. I believe the CWM version i'm using is 20140629. I did not find the /system/build.prop file under the file manager, but I was able to navigate to it through the terminal emulator. It's a read-only file.
If this is not the information you were asking for, please let me know and I will get it right away.
Thanks!
That is not what I was looking for for CWM. When CWM is running it says something like "CWM based recovery version 6.0.4.5" at the top of the screen. What does yours say?

Right, thanks for clarifying. It says:
CWM-based Recovery for HD SD CM11.0/sgt7 v6.0.4.5
Hope that helps.
Thanks!
Hey,
Thanks again for the follow up. I was able to figure it out. Every time I was booting up the recovery menu I did it from the SD card instead of the internal memory by holding down the n key. After I did it that way, the gapps package installed with no prob at all. Thanks so much for the effort and we can mark this question solved.
Cheers!
Hi All
Here is the download link for the Stable 2.5.335 version..
https://mega.nz/#!U1MxSbib!76ngBR-9RAP8aIbI7F4jHRSq40BBonyNP13_HO_MENk
This is can be updated via sdfuse method.
TWRP flash is working fine too. If anybody has problem (error 7), try to put the file attached (unpack it first) into the zip in "META-INF\com\google\android" using WinRAR, 7zip & co. just replacing the file.
Which languages are available? Only Chinese and English?

can't access the mega site on bsnl broadband.
can you upload to some other site like google drive????
Got an Error 7 when trying to update via TWRP with the original file. Changing the updater-script file didn`t help, unfortunately. But now it gives me an additional error upfront "E3005: "EMMC:/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot ....." has unexpected contents". Anybody an idea whats wrong? Can upload a screenshot when back home.
just warning that this version is for PRO model only (Z2121)
Any more option.
Do you guys also have the problem that you cannot connect to Play services completely? When I try to restore WhatsApp history media he kicks me oud. Same goes for Stocard, I cannot connect it to my Google account.
