Update Center informs about the new version of Album.
But this cannot be loaded and installed.
What a cr..p.
And the Update Center doesn't work, it just doesn't load.
Version 5.4.A.0.20? I updated with no problems and have had it for a few days.
Try rebooting or just wait until later and try again. There may be an issue with the update servers.
That's assuming you were asking for assistance and not just complaining.

I'll try it again over the next few days. Maybe there really is some issue with the servers. Thanks for the advice!
That means there is just a server problem ATM.
Good that you confirm this.
Should be fine in the next days.

Download it from here https://mega.co.nz/#!lld0EKTC!52cXugQiViDRm8dVxFTP9t84N6s_52y5Fj0US07a8mE and install as a normal apk, works fine for me
Problems persists!
Perhaps you don't have enough free RAM....
Just joking, of course.
Have you tried rebooting, or clearing the cache of the Update Centre?
If that doesn't work, then there is probably an issue with the update server in your region and you will just have to keep checking. Don't I recall that you were unable to check for firmware updates for several days previously?

The problem with PCC was actually due to the change in PCC.
I had to switch USB mode to make the update happen.
Of course I performed the usual actions regarding problems with apps.
And YouTube works fine, thanks to .101 update
Then it seems the problem is not at your end.
The update centre was taking a long time to refresh for me earlier, but is now back to normal. Perhaps they're performing maintenance or upgrades.
Edit - And my YouTube app still works fine on 569.

Yes I think it's a Sony maintenance.
After complete app clearup it loads very slow and doesn't display album's upgrade pictures either.
And all is fine. It was server.
Now all is working.

Well if you flashed to stock with SBF, how could it be a software issue? I haven't had the problem, ever. *knocks on wood*.
I'd try some other wifi connections
i can't try other wi-fi because mine just won't turned on. even though i already change places to different wi-fi area, but my wi-fi still won't turned on.

Oh..right. My sisters galaxy ace has that same problem. Sometimes rebooting fixes it for her sometimes it doesn't . I don't know what you could try.. Perhaps you could flash one of the newer OTAs with kernel/baseband changes, but might be risky
Yeah...i actually want to flash with 905 ota leak, hope it can fix my wifi problem. But i'm gonna wait a while for it becoming official (hope it soon)

Anyone have any idea on fixing the problem?

I've just flashed my XZ1C to the newest Customized UK firmware with US OEM.sin (for fingerprint sensor) without flashing /data.
Everything is OK until I go to the settings APP...

I don't know it's caused by the newest firmware it self or it's because I didn't flash /data ?.
Any ideas about it?

Factory reset might fix it, but most likely a complete reflash, wiping data. This has been reported before on the thread, happens when you try to mix-and-match firmwares.
The following won't be news to people more experienced than I, but I managed at one point to get my phone into what I presume is a bootloop. Waiting for the right moment, and then connecting it in flash mode to the computer allowed me to use Xperia Companion to reinstall the current firmware correctly. I'm glad that Sony provides this functionality in its PC/Mac software. Perhaps in first backing up just what you need through Xperia Companion, then doing a software repair (reset/flash), and then restoring your (minimal) data would do the trick. I know how annoying these little anomalies can be, I had the weird experience of having GBoard reinstall itself on every reboot until I "fixed" the installation as I outlined above. Good luck!

Thanks for reply!
I'll try to do factory reset the phone. But I'm still wondering why this will cause the Settings APP to work like this ?
I had the problem when i first flashed the german 8.49. I had the same weird menus and txt because i had the origianl us oem. i reflashed w/ complete custom de (I don't have tmobile) and everything is back to normal. Also, I got the ota update to the current version. I assumed the problems were because the us oem was outdated, but maybe not.
I have a maze alpha which got this update, when it tries to install the update, it gives the android error before even getting to the installation screen ( in recovery mode), no matter what I do it just does this with the update, the phone is the 4GB MODEL it is not routed, and it has the stock ROM, when it does the error it doesn't brick, you just have to hold the power button to turn it off and then it starts up normally.
I haven't received this update yet. I still in the V08... Did you receive an OTA Update or did you find the Firmware in somewhere else?

I got this as an OTA update, I am in the UK, they may not have released it in other regions.
I'll try to update later. Need to flash stock recovery again first.

thanks for that it now works, it is annoying we had go to this much effort in order to update our phones, also you are aware you can root your phone in the developer options on your phone.

Hmm no, I don't seem to have that option.
my mistake, i am pretty sure i saw the option in a previous version right underneath the OEM unlocking option in dev - options but it does not appear to be available in this version.
Can't get this update to install. Get the error every time. Hope did you install it?

Any details about how this update affects anything to do with the bootloader? From DC-Unlocker support to people who already have the bootloader unlock code.

I honestly don't know but I know people using the standard Mate 10 found some results. I'd suggest you download DC-Unlocker and find if it detects the device (don't do anything with it unless you want to pay for a bootloader unlock).
Hey guys i need some help. After downloading this new update, my phone automatically installed it. When the process almost 50% the update failed and shows an error. I just press the option to reboot the system. When its finally reboot, I was going to reinstall the update but my phone downloading the new update instead. It's normal after patch01 it should download the normal ROM again.
Unfortunately, there is no new update available after patch01.. Did the error made my phone miss some important update? If i want to reinstall the update, how to do it?

I just installed the emui 9.1 update on my phone but after restarting I'm being notified of the update again. This happens around 5 minutes after restarting following the update being installed. When I install the update again, it "installs" in about 20 seconds before saying the update was successful and reboots. I have tried the installation 3 times now, but I have just set the installation to "later" so I dont get bothered by it again today.
Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

All very well, but then I won't get notifications about future updates.
It didn't work anyway. I'm still being asked to install the update.
After a bit more investigation, it seems the original update may have been corrupted as I'm getting a message that system files or pre-installed software may have been altered or deleted and that the official update needs to be installed. Except it was the official update. Hisuite doesn't have the option to rollback the software to the previous version. So what can I do to put this right?

Thanks but I just get "getting package info failed" when I try that.
Finally sorted. Connected to hisuite again and this time another firmware version (311) was available. So I installed that and when I rebooted there was another 4.7mb patch needed installed. I installed that and everything is back to normal now.
This happens when you install an incorrect firmware version on your phone. The firmware file names may be the same but they are not the same versions.
