This is a known issue with the Z1. Sometime I can't connect to my router even though i'm sitting next to it. I will get "association rejected" or it will just not see any networks at all.

I got the same problem too.
Did you update from 4.2.2 to 4.3 without factory reset?
After I factory reset my phone, I can connet to my router.
Maybe you can try my solution

Factory reset? I think not.
I guess there is a better solution to fix this issue rather than factory reset. FR (factory reset) is not the answer of fixing an issue. Well, I have a same problem here. Somehow my connection just DC (disconnect), then reconnect again. That's make my download failed. After deactivated my WiFi, and re-activate it again, all issues is gone.
Regarding association rejected, that's kernel issue. I found that problem on my Linux too. Perhaps @DooMLoRD can fix this issue later. :highfive:
I think is a software issue not hardware right? Because after this loop my phone connects to the wifi so I think that the wifi chip works

this is a well known 4.2.2 issue and is resolved by a factory reset. same issue with most phones on 4.2.2. you could try completely forgetting the network and rejoining some people have success with that.
Yep, forgetting all the WiFis and rejoining again, it will work.

My Xperia T disconnects from Wi-fi automatically. One minute it is connected and running fine but suddenly it disconnects and shows out of range. Strangely this happens only on stock or stock based rom. Wi-Fi runs fine when running CM10.1. So i guess its not hardware issue. I would use CM10.1 but its so unreliable. I missed several important calls due to sudden reboot in CM10.1 and in stock I cant use my Wi-Fi properly. It disconnects automatically. I have tried every wifi setting combination but none of them work. I am frustrated because of this. I have treid every firmware from from ICS to latest .145. But nothing is helping. Is there some kind of wifi power saver that i can disable or maybe i can update wifi driver in my xperia T. I am in desperate need of solution. Please help me. :crying:
Tough one... have you gone into Settings, then Power Management? There is "extended standby mode" option on my phone that seems like it would turn the wifi off while the phone is idling.
Also, is this on any wifi connection? Or mainly your home wifi? It would be worth having a look at the website of your router's manufacturer to see if there is a new firmware available for your wireless router.
I would like to suggest trying stock firmwares from other regions but I don't know how safe that is. Is your phone an LT30a? LT30p?
Right now I'm using LT30p_9.1_A.1.141_PL on my LT30a (Bell) and wifi is quite solid.

yes the extended stand by mode is unchecked. This happens on every wifi. I have been to my friend's home to check for it. It did same there. My phone is LT30p. thank you, I will try other firmwares as well.

Hi all!i could not post in discussion because i'm new..so i must ask here :/
i have install the Cyber-SGS IV Style FINAL and is impressive!
But i had a problem with my APN.
I'm Italian and so i have my telephon company (3) that use roaming with another (TIM) when have no signal.
The problem is that 3 connection is perfect, but when have no connection and must autoswitch to roaming TIM it blocks and could not do it..and don't back to 3 until restart phone. If i use only 2g same result. Could not connect with it. I install Phono application from google play and say that "APN:" NA in this Android release"..i don't know if mean some :/
I try to add new APN or change it but don't save. So i think there is a problem in the Cyber...or maybe i must reinstall all?
thanks.
Hi, I can help you partially , NA in phono mean that your android release doesn't allow to read the APN information, it happened from android 4.2 to improve the system security.
Ciao

Hi, i recently purchased one smg800f, on it worked almost everything ok, but wifi has extremely low signal, if im at front of any router i get same signal as my previous phone (i9500) but if i make 10 steps it doesn't connect any more, wifi analyzer show the signal going from 85db to almost nothing and keep alternating between those values.
Does anybody have the same problems?, any idea to how to solve it?
I have tried flashing differents firmwares from differents countries but still have the problem

Hello,
I had absolutely no problem before updating to marshmallow , however directly after the update wifi connection drops and " Internet Not available" is written in place of " connected" .
How can i solve this issue please ?

I also have this problem but intermittently. Also, when I walk a fair distance away from my router and come back within range, the wifi does not know how to reconnect to my wireless network. I "sort of" had this problem when I was on Jellybean, but it would always know how to reconnect.
Model: SM-N920C
Build: MMB29K.N920CXXU2BPBA
Have tried:
- deleting and re-adding my home wireless details
- Enabling and disabling Smart network switch
- Set "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" to Always
- Reset my network settings under "Backup and reset"
Any other ideas? I am almost tempted to go for a factory reset...

The WiFi problem kept annoying me, so I have reluctantly bit the bullet and done a factory reset, will post again on my findings if this fixes the issue or not.

MrMike2182, yes I was able to turn the WiFi on to scan for networks. But to clarify, my problem is the WiFi intermittently disconnecting and sometimes not being able to reconnect (had this problem in Jelly Bean and now Marshmallow).
You can try executing with root explorer a file in system/etc. Just go there and search init.goldfish.sh and select execute, that's what i do, when I want to use WiFi
Hi everybody,
I have a serious problem on my P30 pro.
Till one month ago il was working like a charme, but in the last month today is the 2nd day it does not want to connect to any wify at all. I tried everything (including the hard reset) but the problem is still there. It is not the router because other devices are correctly connected and it does not work even if I try to connect it to another phone via Hotspot. It is switching from "good connection" to "no connection" with the "!" randomly.
Probably tomorrow it will work but it is not nice it to behave like that.
I bought it on amazon but by now it is not available, if it was i would have asked for a complete replace.
Do you have any suggestion about what I could try?
Thank you a lot,
Lorenzo

I own it since the beginning of March, it got the update to the 190 in April. I checked and the 1st time I had this issue was the 2nd of May.
I think it is possible it is a problem of the last updates, but we have to understand if someone else has this issue.
I would be disappointed to make a replace.
Thumbs down to huawei.

I have similar problem which i resolve temporary. Check if you may use custom dns if you use disable it. In settings check if you have enabled smart network where wifi and data connection changes when wifi detect saved wifi spot
Disable that two things temporary fix my problem

I do, I use ad guard DNS and wifi+, but it usually works and sometimes it does not.
For instance by now the wifi is working, I went out a couple hours, came back and now it works without touching anything.
Thank you for your feedback, let's see if others have the same problem, which I'm starting to belive it is a bug, not acceptable in such a smartphone!

the same issue here vog29. 195 vodafone. de branded with. 190 it wasnt.
This software has so many bugs... With my lg h815 it was much more stabile. Great hardware high price bad Software. Huawei for me is really a disapointment

Hi,
I'm having exactly same issue since phone updated to 190. Sometimes it connects normally and sometimes connect with no internet access and a exclamation symbol. Tried to reboot hundred times, reset network configuration, but nothing works.

Also had this since updating yesterday 10.0.0.195.
Same on 195. Fixed by restarting my router and phone.
I'm on the 195 now, disabled wifi plus as suggested and yesterday wen I went out the 4g was not working, I had to toggle it on and off. Never happened on the 190 [emoji28]

Same problem for me since the 195 Update.
It says Wifi is connected but without Internet. Strange thing is, if I disable mobile data and make a Speed test I have the full power of my Internet. But it still says I have no internet connection in the Wifi Symbol.
Same problem. Says "no internet access" when connecting to the Wifi network and displays an ! alongside the Wifi symbol in the menu bar. Connectivity drops and resumes with seemingly no explanation.
195 here,
Also the same problem, randomly I'm connected to WIFi but without NET I have to restart the phone, the first restart doesn't always work.
It's super annoying.
I can confirm i have the same problem. Usually connects to WiFi, but No internet access. Very annyoing, as all other devices works fine.
Sometimes it works, Sometimes it does not. No idea why.
Have same issue with. 190 i have net but phone says no connection. Updated to 195 and i think problem persists. Huawei is a ****ty manufacturer, with no development. Expensive and etc. If this phone wasn't a gift i would never buy huawei.
I have the same issue where the WiFi connects with no Internet access, the only way for this to be resolved is to move within 1 meter of the router. Has this been resolved yet?
