Mine is TL and flashed the UK generic JB firmware via Flashtool. The JB upgrade is great, however recently, because the strong sunlight on Texas, I noticed that the light sensor was no longer working. I've tried to erase the data, reset, and reflash. None of those made the light sensor working. Is everyone got their light sensor working on the JB so that's only TL's problem or it's actually not working on the JB?

it's not about the JB version...but the stock one. I think it might be some kind of bug...
in the service test, the light sensor remain 0 not matter how strong the light went.

the ALS shows a 0 when checked under the service tests, but the screen does change brightness depending on light conditions.
My Xperia T light sensor stopped working as well after JB update.

I have some issues also, brightness is set to auto but when entering from sun light into the buildings where the light is low, the screen remains at full brightness and the sensor is working ok only after i'm locking the screen once.
ALS sensor works, differently from ICS, but works. It takes more time, decreasing the backlight when coming to low light conditions and sometimes it takes more time, increasing the backlight in high light conditions after waking the screen. This could be a little faster.
And I suggest disabling DLS, it's annoying and I see no benefit from using it.

This describes the behavior I had on my TL with ftf's from UK or CE. If it doesn't happen right away, it's just a matter of a short time (less than a couple days) until it begins. Once it starts, the behavior doesn't go away.
Odp: Anyone got the Light Sensor working on the JB?

I had exactly the same problem. Dealt with it by wiping /system, /cache, /data partitions in recovery, booting the phone (of course it stopped on Sony logo) and then flashing JB again. But I'm not sure you could do this on TL. I think you will lose LTE then.

I've used: LT30p_9.1.A.0.489_1265-1626, Xperia T_9.1.A.0.489_Europe and OTA upgrade from LT30p_7.0.A.3.223_(1267-4649), same issue with all these versions.
All versions were installed with full wipe.
Can some one see if it is only in this ROM? Try another jb rom and confirm. If so then someone can look into it with me.

Hello community,
I am having problems finding the firmware for this model, everything works fine (even bluetooth) but the camera is strange, the autofocus is not working!!!
I can use the camera only in time shift or using the Sony Apps, but going to superior auto or manual (when requiring focus), I cant take the pictures, i click and the camera stay as-is, touch screen or camera button dont work. They only way to go back is using the power button, later unlock and get to the camera.
The weird part is, when I switch to video mode, stays all black, but when I hit the record button, I see the number counting but video is all black (the led light comes on), and again, the only way to stop it is using the power button.
I try the force stop the camera App, clear cache or reboot, still the same.
I use the firmware C6902 Generic from .534 to .257 generic and even the TW version, and those firmware suffers the same issue, camera not auto-focus.
Any help will be appreciated. thanks!
Your firmware is screwed!
Backup and reset or backup and flash a new firmware.

That sounds like the bootloader unlock bug on 4.2
Are you on 4.2? Have you unlocked the bootloader?
I noticed that after latest upgrade flash works properly while shooting pics but does not work in continuous mode (like in recording).
I installed a torch app and it does not work. I don't think it's a hw problem cause in pics mode it works good.
Anyone is experiencing same thing?
I installed this ROM few days ago
[ROM][SP][JB][4.2.2][UNOFFICIAL]MIUI XPERIA SP V9 [4.3.7][3MAR] {RELEASED}
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2505052
all is running smoothly except the camera. It crashes randomly when i use the vol button to do zoom in / out. Also crashes every time switch the camera/video control.
Any idea to fix it or is a ROM issue?
Thank you
Hello Guys
Recently i started to receive " unfortunately camera has stopped " error every time i tried to open the camera app or use the camera in other apps like whatsapp and facebook this happened with both front and rear camera , i'v tried some solutions like clearing the camera app cache and software repair using Xperia Companion but nothing works is there any way i can fix this problem , can this problem occurred because of a hardware damage ? because my phone fell and the upper part of the screen is broken. currently i'm using the official 5.1.1 firmware
