You have to toggle airplane mode in your notication bar.

Why would it revert back to GSM? Are you not using an SPR device? Have you flashed to a different network? 4.4.247 has no connectivity bugs to my knowledge; I'm the one who builds it here. More information please, and I'll offer any help I can.
Thank you for the replies. I ended up reflashing and it is working perfect now. By far my favorite ROM.

the 3G in my device is not working.
i tried alot of roms, modems and firmwares. the apn is ok. all the settings is ok.
the only rom that give me 3G was CM7.
I thought it was related to 2.3 then i burned the XXJVK and its doesnt work.

is it possible your IMEI has been banned? i think it's not possible if CM7 brings to you 3G...
try with apn droid... i think it's a possibility that you've used it and now your 3G does not work...

19000T requires a modem that has 850mhz band. Flash jl2 modem on rom and you should have 3g

I updated my galaxy s advance OS from GB(2.3.6) to JB. I live in India and I updated the Russian version of the OS. Everything went fine but, the mobile internet isn't working anymore. When I activate the 'Data roaming' setting the signal strength disappears and reappears if I disable it. I've used the same SIM on another phone(Iphone and Galaxy s advance(on GB)) and found that the 3G Internet connection is working fine. Can someone please provide any tips to troubleshoot this.

Yes, tried that too but didn't help..All the phone functions are working fine except for mobile data.

Yes It was the russian ROM. Internet settings are correct too. The same SIM when inserted in another galaxy s advance running on gingerbread, has the internet activated.
is your JB stock or any custom rom?

Folks..it's resolved now
I had to disable the data roaming first and delete the existing APN. Created a new APN with the same settings and enabled data roaming. It's working perfectly. Thanks a ton for all your responses and help. Much appreciated..Cheers :good:
Hi,
I bought i9000 galaxy mobile from Canada and unlocked in India and the baseband version in UGKG3. The carrier is Airtel. The phone works well in any ROM, but only one biggest problem is with Data. I frequently loosing the data signal. when ever I loose data I have to restart the mobile. After rebooting the data stays for an hour or so then again data will disappear. This phone accepts only UGKG3 baseband.
Please any one help to fix this issue.

I lost my data again after 24 hrs. So the problem started again. Any help please.

Same problem here, after some time signal bar freezes can't perform or receive calls needs restart or sometimes modem re-installing.. Thinking to rollback to stock eclair.. Tried many Roms and modems, currently C-rom mix 4.2 baseband xxjvu and checking..

Thats too bad ajay_lanki.. You can try both dormancy disabled and UMTS only (so only 3G and no HSDPA/U), cause maybe the problem is also related to your phone not being able to properly switch from H down to 3G.

My first question is, which variant of Moto X is mine? XT 1052? How do I know it?
Then , the next is are there any custom ROM's for my phone?
please note, I have unlocked the boot loader and my phone is not carrier dependent.
The following are some of the details I found from my phone, please let me know, if you need more.
Build # KLA20.16-2.16
SYSTEM VERSION - 161.44.16.ghost_row.Retail.en.EU

Your phone appears to be the European version of the GSM unlocked Moto X.
If you look on the back of your phone, near the bottom, there MAY be printed a model number in very small print...
Since it is a GSM phone, the data connection will not work until you input the proper APN for your carrier.
The stock rom probably has the correct APN already added - and that is why data works on the stock rom, but not the ROM you have flashed.
You will need to get the APN settings for your carrier, and input those settings into your X. Search the forum for details on APNs.

I found my version is XT 1052.
Let me clarify, its not just the data connection, but the phone features, liking making a call or mobile data get disabled, if I try any of the custom ROM's like PACMAN or carbon etc, which are for developer edition (as they have a suffix _dt, my guess).
When I try to make a call, it says, please turn off the Airplane mode, when it is not in Airplane mode.
My question is : are there any custom ROM's available for XT 1052, if not, is there a way, where I can use the other versions ROM and tweak it, like use their KERNEL or something else?
I am not sure, what to do.. Please advise..

I suggest you go to that thread and read the first 3 or so posts. I also suggest that you ask for help there if you still need it. You are more likely to get help from those who run that Rom in that specific thread.

I also got the same problem but my phone is running stock rom. It always shows "R" (roaming) and "H" but i can't connect the data (APN is correct)

Yeah i lost data also, had to return phone back to verizon. After unrooting of course.
