Was anyone able to figure out how to get the HD+ to charge properly from an external battery or a different AC adapter (not the one that comes with it)?
I want to buy the dock charger for my Z1 but there is no information about the exact charging time.i heard its 3000mAh @5v but because the dock only has a usb connector it means you have to connect it to the AC charger .and the AC charger is 1500mAh.
so if anyone can tell me the exact charging time on magnetic dock i would be so glad!

The dock has to plug into a wall plug for it to be used effectively. The wall plug determines how much mAh the phone will be charging at. 3000 i think is over the limit the phone can safely charge at...
I use a 2000mAh charger with my Z1 and the dock is connected to the stock sony 1500mAh wall plug and ive noticed its only slightly slower.

so you mean that it can charge by 3000mAh when its connected to the wall plug directly.is there any way to connect it to the wall plug directly? i mean is there any kind of USB to ac kit that doesnt limit the current ? because if we connect it to a charger(like the z1 1500mAh) it will be limited to charge the device at 1500mAh.so is there a direct kit or a 3000mAh charger should be used to charge it
I have the Verizon LG G2 running Malladus 1.2.5. I have several external battery packs that I can use to charge my tablet but I am unable to get them to continuously charge my LG G2. Once I plug in the external battery and turn the battery pack on it will initially start to charge but then stop after 3-4 seconds. Any thoughts? Could this have anything to do with the quick charge settings? I have tried changing the USB connection type as well with no luck.

You should check the voltage and mah that comes out from the outputs. For most of the phones, 1A-1.5A outputs and 5V are the proper current when charging the phones. You can have a try RavPower 14000mAh. I like their customer service as I have a kindle fire when I left a comment with them, they replied to me that they could return the charger as it doesn't fit my needs. So cool~~~
Does it affect my battery if I use f.e Car Charger which output is 5V-1000mAh.
The Samsung Original Car Charger output is only 5V-700mAh why, why not 1000mAh? If the Original Charger/Adapter output is 1000mAh?
Anything to do with input voltage AC 100-240V or that is plugged in to the car cigarette socket?
Is it safe to use this Car Charger which output is 5V-1000mAh?
Or does it give some side effects such as screen flicker, touchscreen problem, battery life or slows down my N7000?
Additional question:
What about the length of the cable does it affect charging or should I just stick to the OEM Micro USB Data Cable which length is only 100cm/3.28ft?
Should be fine depending on how well made the charger is.

I have a Moto Z Play (Dual Sim Version ~ Germany) and a Incipio Battery Mod. The Mod charges fine when i use the bundled Turbo Charger (Charging is split between Phone and the Mod).
When i use the charger bought on Google Play store, the phone gets charged first to 100% and then the Mod charges.
However when i use a standard charger (the one that was bundled with my Moto X 2013 and a USB 3.0 to USB-C Cable) or a USB port, phone gets charged and it shows "Moto Mod" waiting to be charged for the Mod and it does on charge.
Is this a bug or do i have a faulty Mod? It is a bit annoying as i cannot carry the Turbo charger with me always
I read similar issues were happening with different chargers. Moto charging on a samsung etc Not anything faulty, away they got you to invest on charging cords. and something to do with Quick charge/Turbo charge
