Ok guys, I feel this is just the end of the games... I was flashing back the Roto JME fw with the swype keyboard issue fixed that I have just made, when I accidentally unplugged the tab while starting flashing and in downloading mode.
Now all I get is a logo with a phone an alert symbol and a computer .
Windows as well as Odin see it, but I can't do anything, as Odin hangs on waiting for connection, or something like that.
Is there anything I can do?? Or do I really have to take it to the warranty? And if I will have to take it to the warranty will they see I have previously flashed a beta rooted image on it??
Here's what I am talking about
Please I need some help..
Thanks

I've heard plenty of goofy stories about bricking devices over the years. You must conclude the following:
1.Flash your device in a locked room to avoid your wife/ child pulling cables or pressing buttons.
2.Don't touch anything while you're flashing. This is why many people that could help you will ignore you after reading about 'accidentally disconnected' wires - they just assume you're a moron not worth helping.
3.Read instructions carefully and write the procedure out in your own words if its your first time.
I've been flashing for years and haven't had a brick yet. Not crossing my fingers either because it has little to do with luck and much to do with care. In this way its a lot like making babies...

Good advice.
My only semi-bricks (that involved an hour or two of trial and error to unbrick) resulted from some manner of overzealous cable unplugging.

Well, first of all thanks for ur nice words. Let me just say that I was about to disconnect another device from the hub where the GTAB was attached and flashing at that time, and yea, I accidentally unplugged the GTAB instead of the other device. I may be a moron, thanks, and thankfully not everyone believes themselves as god, which is a good reason to not help other people who are in troubles, even if for stupid things sometimes... If everyone were thinking like u we were probably still at the age of 1400 ...
Mate it wasn't a barb directed at you personally, but you weren't exactly careful were you?
I'm no god... but I've never bricked a device either, and I've been flashing for over five years now. To top it off I've almost never owned a device which could be taken back to the shop (90% of them come from other countries, not my local retailers). Perhaps this has taught me to be careful.
In any case, what I said holds true, and if you ask around I'm certain you find most will agree.
Dude, you have the best avatar! I can't keep my eyes away! Good luck, and don't worry about mistakes - that is one reason this forum exists.
Cannot start my Gtab after trying update JMC
...Hello everybody,
I am really worry about the fact my Gtab doesn't want to switch on after trying to flash it. I tried all process to put it on download mode or recovery but nothing work.
Do you have any idea about it ? Is there a specific procedure to switch on (eg : press power for 1 minutes + blablabla).
My provider doesn't want to take my Gtab in warenty before my contract is activated (the 4th of february).
Thank you for your answer

I also had a semi-bricked VZW Tab, with the phone-triangle-computer warning graphic at start up. (I flashed a new boot loader, and failed to read the instructions closely enough. Either the file was incorrect for my device, or the drivers were not loaded correctly, but my tablet was borked.)
Using heimdall 1.3.2 (with the correct drivers, on a 32-bit windows system), I clicked the "close pc screen" option to clear the warning.
I then held the power button until it turned off, then held vol+ and power to re-enter download mode. Once in download mode, I used heimdall 1.1.1 to flash the zImage from SCH-I800-Stock-Rooted-2.3.5. My tablet (still unrooted, and still stock?) booted, but sat at the SAMSUNG logo for ten minutes or more. (It announced its progress, telling me periodically "five minutes remaining", etc.)
Once it finished, my tablet was revived. I will now follow the above advice and read all instructions very carefully, re-writing them in my own words to ensure I understand what I'm doing, before I try this again.

...like REALLY bricked
bumping this old thread in hopes that someone can point me in the right direction...
Got my p7510 (10.1" wifi retail) stuck pretty badly when trying to restore stock ROM coming from Overcome (it came rooted from ebay). From what I gather from the forums, seems like my bootloader is still locked.
whenever I attempt to flash a BOOTLOADER, PIT, or PDA using ODIN it connects, initializes, and gets stuck on "Flashing boot.img"
I think the recovery partition is damaged. When I boot using Power + Volume Down, I can get to the screen where you select recovery mode or download mode but recovery mode will not load. The screen flickers when I select recovery, but goes nowhere. Download mode works.
I tried using nvflash to force the right software onto it but I get error 0x4 (usb write failed).
There has to be a way to restore the stock bootloader and get this thing running again. Tablet will not boot android at this point. I have been searching the forums for about a week now, anyone have any ideas?
Dear Members and Expériences user,
My XZ is stuck at Sony logo:
How it happened:
Phone was Roted

2- backup phone and reboot
3- backup everything using titanium backup
4- transfer all backup from internal memory to sd card
5- Eject sd card
6- performed a wipe and factory reset from settings
7- reboot and configure apn and accounts
8- reinstall superuser then titanium backup apps
9- reboot
10- restore some apps (mainly games) and some systems settings (only sms/mms and phone call history)
11- as advice by TB reboot

13- boot in recovery
14- restore (using advance fonction) system only
15- went off battery (I did not notice that my kids unplugged charger)
16- Here i am...
Please help me
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here the procedure I have applied:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
First a Huge Thanks to :
- diego9016
- LitoNi
Which guided me on the solving.
As proposed, I have :
1- Installed the Sony PC Companion 2.10.155
2- Installed the Flashtool-0.9.10.2beta6 --> Thanks to Androxide for that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2162907
3- Followed the Tuto of 'Flashing Stock Rom with FlashTool --> Thanks to Shadowboy23 for that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240614
3- Used the UK Unbranded FTF --> Thanks to Paulkhim for that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2221475
I have followed line by line the différents tutos and it worked out very well.
The only thing I did differently was running the the flashtool as admin user when it succeed.
Thanks to all and good dev for the XZ which it deserves it.

Of course... But first, you need to charge your phone.
Follow this tutorial, it should bring back your Z to life.
Here you can find the ftf you need.
Just be sure you have the C6603.

I have tried and unfortunatley no success
Everything runs well until when the phone has to be connected to the PC while holding the Vol Down Button.
Then the Device seems to be connected and after a while it deconnects and restart itself and locked at the Sony Logo.
Then the flashtool recongnises it as disconnected
:crying:
Any other test I may perform ?
Thanks for your patience and support

Do you have the flashtool drivers correctly installed?
Have you tried restarting your pc and see if it works? Don't open PC Companion or any of the other Sony software.
Are you connecting the device powered off and holding vol down?

Does it takes long cause I stayed like 4-5 mins by holding it without seing any progress bar and soon I unpress it the phone restart by itself and back again at the Sony logo.
To switch it off again I have to hold Power + Vol Up and Down during 5-10 sec until it vibes 3 times.
Is it the right process ?
Just fyi, your main cause of this is most likely when you tried restoring the apps.
Do not try to restore them with titanium backup Or cwm if you are moving from one rom to another etc... To avoid any issues like this one.
Backup and restore using whatever the app provides. Their files are usually located internally. ( just drag it to your comp)
Before starting flashtool, hit the arrow icon (where more hidden programs are running) you may find pcc or sus running sometimes after you reboot your computer.
Find the right ftf file, make sure you are using the most updated flashtool.
Good luck man.

Not saying you can't, but why should you have to rehash information they could have found themselves, but I guess this is what xda has become these days.

Ok, here´s the process:
Start flashtool, select the ftf and start the process... Flashtool will say Preparing Files for Flashing. Then, a window will prompt and tell you to put your device in flashmode.
With you phone turned off and unplugged, leave vol down pressed and connect it to pc until the window disappear, that's the moment you release vol down button and flashing process should start.
Add to that I don't know did you do this yet but I'll mention it anyway:
Before you start flashtool
1- go to settings of your device > developers option (enable it) scroll down and check usb debugging.
2- not sure if you need to do this but might as well cause I do it all the time. Phone settings > security > check unknown sources.
Go ahead and start flashtool and follow the instructions before this post

By not being alone I kept the head out of the water and finally succeed.
To make it short, it seems that the FTF file was a kind of corrupted (unable to check the MD5 Sum cause not provided), nevertheless I download another FTF file from another country (I selected UK as I can easely read UK than others languages) then on the second attempt it finally went well.
I do not know the effect of flashing another country Stock firmware yet, but I think as for the cooked rom it does not creates big issues.
Thanks again to supporting me on this tricky situation.
And as promoised after this answer, I will write down what I have performed.

Thanks for your answer, As I was blocked on the start of the phone, it was not possibe at the time being to change the settings (perhaps I were Lucky cause these settings were as you proposed before my issue happened).

So I bricked my SGH-T759. Spent 10+ hours trying to fix this POS. FINALLY I found someone posting a stock rom. Problem was that the message was really geared towards people who knew what they were doing, and not having used the tools or this phone in that way, I did not. This made matters worse. HOWEVER, I did fix it! So I am going to post a detailed guide and recompiled package.

I am not responsible for what this may do to your phone, mother, sister, or girlfriend. Use at your own risk.
OK, lets begin.
Step by Step Unbrick
Download Unbrick-SGH-T759-1.0.tar.gz
Download Heimdall
Both files should be bellow
If you are using Vista or up and 64 bit, disable driver enforcement. Google this part.
Unzip Heimdall
Enter the driver folder
Turn off your phone and unplug it
Hold the volume + AND - buttons down
Plug it into the computer
It should appear in download mode
Run zadig.exe as admin
Under Options and select List all devices
Select Samsung USB Composite or (Unknown Device if you didnt install the Samsung drivers)
Install Driver
Now go back a folder
Run heimdall-frontend.exe as admin
Under Heimdall Firmware Package, hit Browse
Choose Unbrick-SGH-T759-1.0.tar.gz
Hit Load / Customize
Hit start, and WAIT
After phone reboots, you should now be fine!
Not so complicated eh? THAT took me 10+ hours to figure out (and find those files) >.>

I have done all this but my phone still connot find network services. please help me !!!
hi, can you update the link to download the firmware please, my phone t759 is bricked and i cant find the stock rom to restore it :/
4G mobile is a very important thing.if you have 4G it becomes easy to do any work on mobile
While i was watching a video on facebook my phone randomly crashed, i waited for the phone to die as i didn't know about the soft reset i could do, and ever since then the phone has not booted past the red motorola logo, i've looked up a few ways to 'unbrick' my phone but they all required me to be able to go onto the device and enable USB debugging mode, which i obviously can't do. I have tried 1 other way which was to try and run "xFSTK-SoC-Driver-Setup-1.0.3.exe" and see if the bootloader would be reinstalled but i keep getting a message saying "libusb0.DLL is missing" and when i download the .DLL online it still says the message no matter where i put it.
I can get into the fastboot menu and i have formatted it to see if there was something on the phone that was stopping it from booting, but alas i am still here with a 'bricked' phone. Hopefully someone can help me get this sorted as i'd rather not have to be on my Nokia C1-01 for long
Thanks in advance

Try to use RSDlite to install right version of your ROM.

Thanks for the information but to me that is just words and links, i have no idea what to download, what i need to be looking into, how to use RSDLite, i'm more a visual learner so i learn via watching (im actually a 90% visual learner) and the fact i have no background with this it is relatively confusing

No problems at all, that's exactly what XDA Assist is here for
Good luck!
Hi MrWafWaf,
Here some extra help.
The things we are going to do is using RSD-Lite to restore your phone if it only has software problems. And we suspect it has that.
What u need for it are the following:
- RSD-Lite from here, unzip and install
- USB drivers: 32Bits or 64bits windows, and install it
- The firmware, this is the difficult part. U need the one from your country. If u got it wrong, it will maybe not be fully optimized for your country and language. Allways take the latest, in this case one with '9.8.2I' in it. (need help, say from where you from, carrier and if u buyed it from a carrier or retail. Maybe we can say which one u need)
So u now have RSD-Lite installed, the drivers installed and a zip file with the latest firmware.
Now see this thread: here
It's about using RSD-Lite. U already did step 1 and 2 from the 6 steps (not numbered, in quote) short guide.
Fastboot mode: Getting into it;
To get in AP Fastboot mode from power off: Hold Powerbutton + volume down. By holding those 2 the phone will boot and after a few seconds reboot. At the time the phone reboots and vibrates release the powerbutton. Now u will be in fastboot mode with all those text lines.
To get in AP Fastboot when the phone is on the (un)lock bootlogo: Hold powerbutton + volume down + volume up. Keep holding it. At the moment the phone reboots, release the powerbutton and volume up. KEEP holding the volume down button. It will now boot in fastboot mode.
Good luck. For the fastboot mode, u may need to try it a few times before it works. But i can assure you it always will work unless u have a hardware problem.

Do you have Windows 10? It's a recent and know bug, if so I have a workaround until it's fixed (maybe it's already)

I followed this simple guide to have mtp working, some people say don't work but for me worked:
(1) Go to C:\Windows\INF
(2) Type "wpdmtp.inf"* in search bar provided to the right of the address bar in Windows 10.
(3) Once you found it, just right click on it and select install. It will take a very few seconds.
(4) Connect your device to the pc.
*You can also not include .inf, you will find that file because is the only one.
Tell me if works, also I copied to my desktop to use step 4 when need it
After that my phone (Moto X), my brother's phone (Moto g) and my mother's phone (samsung J3 '16) are read again by my pc

I also found this alternative guide for you this no your cable and/or USB port is ok:
If the player is showing up in your Windows' Device Manager under "portable devices" with a yellow "!":
1.) Right-click the yellow "!" and choose "update driver".
2.) When given the option to connect to Windows Update, choose "no, not this time" and click next.
3.) Choose "Install from a specific location (advanced)" and click next.
4.) Choose "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install" and click next.
5.) Click the "Have Disk" button. Browse to C:\Windows\inf and choose the file marked "wpdmtp.inf"

//Update: So apparently i have a faulty usb connection... dunno if i can fix it myself
is there any way to get my BL unlocked without usb?
