I am running stock 4.3. I just updated a week ago. No root done or anything. Everything was working fine until tonight. I tried out the xperia themes. It installed and successfully. I then decided to turn my phone off. When I try to turn my phone on, it just goes to a boot loop. It shows all the sony and xperia splash screens then after that it shows a black screen for a few seconds and then turns off and then it repeats. How can I fix this?
This happened to me, with hexared theme. You must do factory reset. Or remove all theme parts in /data partition.

My Xperia TX wont turn on after android 4.3 update.
The phone worked perfectly for one day after the update but it wont turn on now.
The phone stucks on the screen which comes after the SONY logo and the XPERIA logo,the screen on which different colours come and flow away.
what do i do ?
Your going to have to reinstall the update with repair option on a computer.

As soon as the XPERIA logo disappears, keep "Vol down" pressed until it boots into Safe Mode. If it does, then it might be that you installed some app that is not allowing it to boot. If it still doesn't boot, and if you have a recovery, you can wipe /cache, else you'll have to do what was suggested in the previous post.
Hi i am freaking out as i have just reset my phone through the settings and now its stuck in a constant bootloop, it shows the sony logo then shows my custom boot animation and freezes at the end then restarts and does it again...? i feel the boot animation is the problem? What can i do?
Just on stock xperia and rooted with xposed

Hi guys I have a stock xperia z1 I havent done anything with it except rooting it when it was in Kitkat
After updating it today to Lolipop through the Sony Pc Companion, I have the following issue:
When i turn on the phone nothing happens, the screen is black... I Can hear the startup sound of the boot screen or sony logo whatever...
But the screen is absoluteley black till it finishes loading and boots into android then the screen comes back to life and everything works normally !!!
I do not understand how come it is black for the whole bootup process then normal once it is in android! I tried to do a repair/ factory reset etc... but i still get the same thing either way...
Any Ideas?

Try to flash 5.0.2 ftf for your phone via flash tool...
Hi guys my Xperia Z doesn't start anymore, it's stuck in a bootloop. Before this happend it suddenly turned of, even with full battery. But I was able to boot it, it just turned of when I started an app. But now it's completely ****ed. Is it the battery? When I get a new battery do you reckon it will be ok again? I have a lot of pics on it and no backup -.-
It also doesn't work when it's plugged in, and power + vol up button doesn't make a difference. It only comes to the Sony Xperia boot logo, turns off and tries to start again, I can't even turn it completely off...
Any recommendations?
Ah yeah and it's all original with the newest software on it.
I had that same problem, and tried to reflash my stock rom using flashtool. The flash went fine, but it didn't solve anything, my phone was still rebooting again and again. Tried to reflash again then the flash failed, I don't know why...
Had the same issue but entering flash mode and flashing the rom with flashtool worked
I have my Xperia Z C6603 with Indian lollipop flashed. One day I told my sis to plug my phone to charger and I dont know what she doid, I think she pressed the power key and the phone rebooted. After a while when I checked my phone it had only black screen, no touch nothing was working. I force rebooted the phone and then it got stuck in boot loop. Then I had the Indian Kitkat firmware downloaded from here >>[FTF][4.4.4] Xperia Z (C6603) 10.5.1.A.0.283 Generic IN (India) - UPDATED<<. Flashing it that time gave me error because drivers were not installed, I installed drivers and then I flashed it, flashed successfully and then I started it, at the choice of Language, when I touched it, the screen went black smoothly and then nothing happened. I force rebooted it. Then I done a software repair from Sony's PC companion. I had lollipop then, it started and after powered by android logo, it went black smoothly and then nothing. Then I tried to flash the kitkat firmware again thinking that it might went bad that time. And now it again stuck in boot loop. At the language select, it went black smoothly and reboots. Please Help!!!

seems to be a hardware problem, maybe it got hit somehow... ?_?
