Nice ROM, a good alternative of KitKat roms in which users will always miss the FM radio application working. Unfortunately it seems radio drivers for JB are worse than those for GB and the radio signal is better, more crystal clear in GinKitKat than in this ROM or other JB ROMs.
The ROM is a little bit laggy sometimes, compared to the KitKat Carbon Rom which is very smooth and has a looooooot of system storage free. I'll try also the Fusion kernel, because people say it has better performance than Lupus.
I'm also missing the blacklist function in the Phone application and it will be super if it can be compiled back to it - as far as I remember it was available in other JB roms.
The lockscreen clock font is a little bit ugly for me, but this is a Jellybean disadvantage, not remark to the ROM.

my phone 380mb, this rom it's fast, good battery life, no bug until now. 5 stars Smokerman :thumbup:

if you need radio and a faster camera with good quality this rom is a good alternative..cant compare KK roms with JB roms..camera is buggy and slower,no radio but in alternative roms are faster, great ram management and super snappy.(at least on couple of them,CARBON for sure..one of the best kk rom for me):good:

but if you play games on this rom or navigate,see videos and such im sure you will see amazing performance...play MC4 on kitkat and this one..my next review on kk roms i will test MC4 aswell..just to compare..

i ve made changes in this rom, to make it my own way and always liked slimbean roms..my favourites ever..pitty we dont have a slimkat fully working for arc/s..i ve tried to build a few times but without sucess like others tried..so i released this JB with some slimkat mods..i didnt find any bug untill now,but i always appreciate users feedback..bad or good..its the way we can make roms better and better.
is this rom an upgrade of slim bean 4 by bestt? or is it a separate one?
I think Fusion kernel is working better with this ROM. Less lag, but still available sometimes in the phone app - while changing tabs into it or by starting it up.
I only miss the blacklist function in the phone app.
Otherwise the rom is great alternative of KK roms for the presence of FM radio.

kernel is optional..i prefer lupus JB cause im use too from xperia play and i know well wedgess work..but fusion 5.5 i think also its very good,so thanks for testing on that kernel..i will release a updated version with all bugs fixed and hopefully no lag,without hurting performance or battery..so stay tunned and all users report bugs or suggestions i can make...

yes its an update..besttt was on fxp 230,this is latest FXP with my own modifications to make it more performance and speedy with almost 200 free ram..i ve tested many days besttt version and with all features normally we have 80-100 free ram..so i think improvements are on sight..and i ve already done it for xperia play and neoL last year on cj360 version..so,i ve updated this version and bring it now for other xperias as well as for r800x users.(CDMA like verizon USA network).

Instructions:
Download ROM and kernel (everything isi in ROM including Wi-Fi modules)
Flash boot.img via Fastboot
Wipe everything=cache+dalvik+user data
Flash .zip via CWM Recovery
Reboot

I CONFIRM - 3XTASY ICS will be available tomorrow, because I have to fix one thing... Bug during flashing, exactly. If you have any suggestions how to fix "write_raw_image Status 7" error, please help! If I don't fix this tomorrow, ROM will be available in two weeks because of holidays! I want to share my ROM with you as fast as I can, so I just must fix that crap tomorrow! Damn... It means today, because we have 6 minutes after midnight... Nevermind

The solution is that you flash full .ftf ( except .ta and kernel.sin). After that flash any kernel ( trinity,...). Then you can flash .zip rom, remember that in zip rom must'n have boot.img

Camera is modificated. The original name of it is "MooDeD Camera 2.0 (by Jader13254)". It improves recording to 30 FPS - smoother videos and to 14 MBpS. It also makes photos better quality and more detailed. I have also noticed that MooDeD Camera can better set auto focus. Photos are really amazing!

"Must Flash" x3 are that: super charge v6, Mooded camera 2.0, sony areno gpu update. This ROM is just a collection of some topic on xda and the dev dont make any effort to combine them. I have just tested and it's only show image "Trinity kernel " over 10 minutes, that's all.

Installation Procedure:
If coming from another rom:
1.Download Racing Bean and a 4.1.2 kernel (recommended Fxp or Fusion)
2.Place the Wi-Fi modules and Racing Bean on your SDcard
3.Flash your chosen kernel via Flashtool, then boot your phone to recovery
4.Wipe data and format /system
5.Flash Racing Bean and Wi-Fi modules
6. Reboot and have Mess around
7. Flash either usb fix OR On screen buttons addon.
If updating from a previous Racing Bean Version:

Do I need WiFi modules for the Fxp kernel?
Nope. Unless your coming from Fusion and had it's modules installed. Then you'd have to reflash the rom in order to have working WiFi with the Fxp kernel
Using Fusion Kernel I get reboots occasionally?
This is a known problem with Fusion kernel. Usually a clean installation will fix this but if you can't be bothered with that, try LuPus.
I'm having problems installing?
Make sure you are using the latest fusion kernel and wiping /system before flashing.
But if all else fails, This will always work
Any battery saving tips? What CPU settings?
In both screenshots in the OP, I used these tips:
1. CPU - 184 ~ 1200mhz InteractiveX with Deadline is optimal for daily usage on the Xperia Arc S.
2. Screen - If you watch your battery stats, you will know that the screen is always the biggest drainer (unless you hardly ever use your phone and keep it in a sock drawer). Decreasing screen brightness and timeout will help lots.
3. Data - As with all Android phones, data usage is a heavy drainer. Whenever you are not in need of internet or are connected to WiFi, turning off data will help greatly.
Can I install with a locked boot loader?
Sorry, no. But unlocking your bootloader is very easy and gives many benefits. Here's a guide on how to do it
I flashed xLoud but there isn't a switch in settings for it!
I am not at the level to edit settings.apk in such an advanced way. So therefore, after flashing xLoud, it is always enabled.

Coming from cm10 AOKP m1 r2 wiped everything and got status 7 error when installing. Bad zip or something else?
Sounds really good. But, does it retain the Bravia Engine and XLoud? And you seem to have downgraded the camera from 8 mpx to 6 mpx. How does that fare? Do let me know.

This rom is cooked, and you can see this. Today with this stuff, a tomorrow with other optimizations.
And 2nd, you say me that I have done the same with aosp and pac only because you don't see in the kernel version

Try changing your kernel. It may be a bug from the kernel.
ultimately happened with bluetooth? and I can flash gapps? but I guess they'll work now and put the gapps that I have earned int2ext besides hopefully work as before without problems.

-bluetooth works using badass kernel.
-maybe the internal storage not optimized using A2SD script (my previous rom is lenio,it's optimized), so I used the modded int2ext.
-for gapps, I used the gapps from CM10.1 thread by rohan007
after all, this rom works good. I'll give a report later if there's any bug.

ok thanks I will flash this kernel, sure there is no bug or anything? I once I got the crazy cab would work (although the game was slow) but after all cm10, cm 10.1 to prove everyone was departing with the welcome screen of the game creeped making me impossible nor start playing, hopefully with this I go crazy rom the taxi as it is a game I love.
If I also use int2ext and run to the first, when flashing gapps gapps use the official 4.2.2 and also are compatible, all you see is that system memory is just so I have find the gapps reduced. Also will try odex to get more free space and gain speed, but for speed I have no complaints for now.

No rom can be made perfect in a single build.. And hence nightlies concept exist.. When one rom's nightly is out, i work on the other project.. Updates come only when decent and worth updating changes are merged.. So if i work on a single rom, once i build a nightly, i have no work as i cannot keep compiling everyday for single changed merged.. Just trying to give you guys the taste of those roms which are not common and famous in other forums like galaxy notes, nexus, s2,s3 etc..

altough i agree with you for new roms,after 4 or 5 kitkat roms maybe users choose 2 or 3 to keep working..no sense on having 10 kitkat roms..i think AORP and CARBON rom are hard to beat..but we never know..

I actually like the PolygonKK 1.2 quite a lot.... I used to have AORP beta and found PolygonKK to be better.

Never installed Carbon since its still a beta....and decided to go back to ICS since i use HDMI a lot for movies and other things.
With Android Tweaker 2 i managed to tweak the kitkat roms quite a bit.....Love that app.
Does anybody know if it will ever be possible that sony will release HDMI sources for kitkat?
Kitkat is a light version ideal fo our ARC S.
If not, would it be possible to create a compatible virtual machine running the stock ICS version of HDMI on 4.4?

we can..for me problem is releasing many roms with same bugs,same base rom and almost same performance..kernel more stable and fast for kitkat roms (arcS)is still 11DarkAnzu20140112.:good:
so what im saying is that i prefer 3 or 4 stable and super 4.4 kitkat roms,than 10 unstable roms and buggy..so far the released roms are pretty stable..so we are lucky..but they are similar if you tested..i ve tested:

carbon
AORP
cm11LX
Omni
best so far for me CARBON, AORP and new Polygon kk 1.2 with aroma installer and good options..so 3 top kitkat roms (beta versions still).
gonna give this a try also this days if i have time..a new 3xx kernel or a optimized one it was a good idea too..surely it will improve all kitkat roms.
We should get @wedgess to work on a new lupus kernel for KitKat.... but it seems he left development on our devices.
I'm on Carbon, and is so good for me: smooth, fluid and customizable like I want.
I don't need tablet UI or expandable desktop...and carbon for me it's the right choice. But this ROM "features" it's very intersting...
I'll wait for screenshots (for view features like UI, and customization/ performances etc..) and changelog of it.
I'll also say THANK YOU VERY MUCH to vishal...vishal spent a lot of his time on these projects, that are all goods in their ways..it's only an user choice which choose.
I'm on Carbon and wait for Carbon next release, with latest cm11 and more...but I'm tempted so much by this ROM... :highfive:

you can use google to see hellkat screenshots. this rom is not xperia arc exclusive.... the predominant colour is red
if you want to know how it is, about included tweaks, customizing menu, ui, etc... just flash and try the rom :good:

let the rom settle for a few hours..at least one cycle of charging battery 100% and then enjoy fully..my battery is super good with 1201 max 134min intellidemand2..no draining at all..superb rom for daily usage.:good:

It's possible to add fake 720p video mode (864x480) like in Super Jelly Bean 8.0? It will saves ram and also hd in jelly bean is useless i think..

in this rom no..as you see on screenshots only 1280x720 and 640x480 are available..if change to 640x480 you can try wide mode on camera options.:good: report any bugs please.
next version will be more lighter and more free ram.

i have a patch for ray..for pro must look around a bit..but you have other JB roms with PRO support.:good:

I have a question. Is the Cyber-shot in this ROM making good photos, like the Cyber-shot for ICS? Half an year ago i tried a JB ROM with 720p support, it was running well but video recording was around 18fps and the camera took horrible pictures. The camera is really important for me. If here everything's well, i'm instantly installing!

first of all, cybershot cant be for JB like ICS..cause we dont have camera libs..so its a fake 720p no matter what..camera is important to me also on all roms,like image quality,eye candy rom and battery life also..so i ve tested this camera and it worked well for a JB rom..i have tried on 3 kernels (superfusion/fusion 5.5 and lupus jbv12.1 720p)..and the roms is always fast,good sound and great battery life (better on lupus,more governors)..this video recording i think its about 29fps.but always better you test the rom..if you like it,keep it..if not restore your current rom.
Hi guys .. i found a lag in greek chars . I dont see all the greek letters maybe a bug i dont know . pls tell me a way to fix that. also i cant put tones in the letters. :/
