Root xperia t bl - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

I have a mobile XPERIA T (LT30p) with locked bootloader (not allowed), how to do this root
JB 4.3 (9.2.A.0.295)

Not sure if you can root official 4.3 with lb yet mate, someone else would be able to tell you that. If you want you can install stock 4.1.2 - 9.1.A.1.141 - Unbranded from here using flashtool : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2648320 (Flashtool thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1943886). Then you can root 4.1.2 using DarkLords Root kit here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2333577, install cwm v8 from here (make sure you use the older version link, not the newer v9 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012738.
Then you can boot into cwm and install one of the 4.3 roms for locked bootloaders from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-t-v/t-development.
You'll have 4.3 (9.2.A.0.295) rooted with cwm recovery installed!
As you can see it's a bit tricky so not recommended if you're apprehensive about installing ROM's.

Don't think you'll get an answer as this question has been asked countless times.
As of last month, you don't need to unlock the bootloader to get root on 4.3
But you need to downgrade to 4.1.2 (257) and root using doomlord's exploit. Then install recovery. After that choose a rom of your choice (based on the latest .266 or .201).
For noob's infor:
a. the downgrade is necessary as you need root and doomlord's exploit for rooting works only up to version .257.
b. rooting is simply needed so that you can install recovery (CWM is good)
c. after which all will be wiped out by the new rom which will be flashed with its recovery and root :good:
And before you ask where these files are: search in the various forum, notably "android development" and "General" sections

You'll need flashtool to flash .254 (full firmware). Note that flashtool will only work if all the drivers are installed in your computer (there is an installer inside flashtool directory, after installation - double click on that to install the drivers)
Hunt around for the .254 ftf and .257 (kernel only) if you can't locate it in the link I gave you.
[The .254 in the link is "kernel" only - you want the full firmware (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311964)
The link to cwm: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649923 but I prefer this one (simpler): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2444605

[Q] Rooting and dualrecovery

I apologise if this is previously sorted out, but I am pretty new to the xperia lineup(2nd day).
I have a C6902 with build number 14.1.G.1.531(android version 4.2.2)
Can I use bin4ry's tool to root?
And then directly use the XZdualrecovery installer?
At present I do not wish to unlock the bootloader neither upgrade to kitkat, but want to try stock based custom 4.3(flashplayer! Yay!) JB. Will iHackers 3.0 be installed without loosing root and the dual recovery?
bump
Anyone?

I'm not sure about the bin4ry thing but there are many ways u can root on z1 since it's on .531
maybe vroot or king root
yes, then u can install dualrecovery and go for iHackers 3.0, your dualrecovery will be still here after installing
have fun

The process is incorrect.
You can root up to version .254. You can't root .201 or .266. by the method you stated.
To root .201 or .266, you can install one of the customised roms (see android dev section)
Some roms required unlocked bootloader. Others do not. So read the instructions carefully.
I am current on rooted 201 using this ROM:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658043
(version 2.1 - you install v2 then update with v2.1 on top).
You will still need to downgrade to older version so that you can get root and recoveries before you can install the above rom
Good luck

Not sure what 284 is (probably global ftf of version 257), but the last version before 4.3 was 254. You can try though.
Answer to your last question:
As stated: YOU CANNOT ROOT 4.3 (266 OR 201) with doomlord's exploit- PERIOD.
Once you flash the 4.3 kernel, your phone will go into a bootloop.
You can only use doomlord's exploit for version 257 up to 254.
Hi, i already with 4.3.3 and roted, but when i turn on the Phone not apears the ligth of recovery :s. is a bug or i need to install aggain??
Thanks for reply

isn't there any way to root .201 without downgrading and without losing drm keys?

You only lose DRM keys if you unlock the bootloader, not through rooting.
The downgrade to older 4.1.2 will not cause the loss of the keys...

You didn't say how you rooted your device.
If it is through other roms, these roms would usually include a set of recoveries.
I have not tried (because I got both root and recoveries through customised roms for 201), but you can try dssmex's files to install your recovery. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649923
O.k. Rooted my phone by downgrading to .254. If I use Flash tool to install .266 tft will that destroy the root?
EDIT: NVM answered the question myself.

[Q] Is it safe to update?

Hi.
I'm from Portugal. My operator is MEO. I have an SP model C5303 with android 4.1.2 - 12.0.A.2.254. It´s rooted and it has CWM-based recovery v6.0.3.2 installed.
Received a notification update to oficial 12.1.A.1.205.
Is it safe to update? Is it possible to root the new version?
Thanks

After rooting Never recieve any OTA (Over the Air) update from SONY or Carrier as it will brick your device!
If you want to port to official 4.3 JB .205 Firmware then you should do it via Flashtool. Download your stock .FTF file and flash it via Flashtool.
Warning - While flashing your all data will be lost so it is advised to make a nandroid backup before proceeding!
Did I help! If yes then hit thanks

This thread is for firmware 12.1.A.205 root it with one click
And yeah you will loose your root access but if you're on UBL (Unlocked bootloader) it will stay that way only (your bootloader status will stay unlocked but root access would be lost after flashing the stock kerne)
Press thanks if I helped
