Attn: Dev's - Porting your ROM to the D2 made easy

OK guys I am posting the files I needed to port my 2.3.340 based ROM, GummyJAR, to the D2..
This should work for any 320/340 DX ROM really.
Now with my ROM I also had to include the AOSP keyboard as the Gingerbread one doesn't work right on the D2.. Also make sure to to redue your build.prop edits as this update comes with a build.prop
Here is an update.zip with all the needed files
Please if you like my work donate as I would like to buy other phones to build other ROMS

Tried it on a few different roms. Camera and video camera, the things I couldnt get working, work Physical keyboard, the one thing I did figure out, does not. Easy fix though. Your awesome Kejar!!
**I updated your update.zip to fix keyboard. It works 100% on the 3 roms ive tested it on. Can I post it or do you want to post it?

That would be a tad harder since you'll need more proprietary files. It is so easy for these devices because they have very similar hardware.

[Q] Can someone guide me which version of mod can I use for JV6

Hi guys!!!
I'm new to this forum and I'm still new to Android
I have tried a lot of modded ROM in my galaxy s but the luck of full arabic support is important to me, recently the new Firmware finaly come with Jpjv6 2.3.3, I have installed root and lagfix of JVO and it's work like a charm but modes like touchwiz 4 and tv animation didn't work on the JV6 I'm stuck in rebooting
is it hard to convert the modes from one to another version?
I would do it by my self but with some help from you guys

Just flash a custom ROM with Arabic support. There are quite a few in the development section...

but I just wanna these two mods TW4 and TV off animation I don't like too much modding
so is there any way to apply mod manually like to use root explorer to but specific files in the right place

You'll find several TW4 mod threads in development section. Each have their own specific instructions. Just search for the same and you'll find it! You should find CRT off animation as well...

[Q] Quick question roms for frg83 2.2.2?

I have looked and I may have missed it, but I was wanting to know for certain if miui or cm roms can install on stock rooted 2.2.2 frg83 droid 1/og. I have miui on my x and my husband FINALLY let me get my hands on his (my old) droid. I can not find any where that lists the system requirements. I really dont want him to see me have to sbf his phone or anything... that may make him think I killed it. it has cwm, titanium backup and rom manager pro.. any link to a list of roms I can use would be great I am sorry if I over looked this somewhere. It seems the droid 1 has been left in the dust.

Deodexed 2.3.6 System Apps

Hi all,
could someone post a zip of the deodexed system apps of 2.3 Droid 4?
I'd like to try which apps are working on the DROID 3!
Especially the Gallery (which seems to show folders now) and the Music App.

I would gladly deodex the rom, since I need it that way too, but I have a learning curve involved. If anyhone already has it, I might be able to help with lapdock love on the custom roms.

[Q] ICS Possilbe...??

Hi All...I'm relatively new to android rooting and would like to know what custom ROM's are available for the Droid Bionic??
Some members were very helpful with my questions recently when I rooted my HTC Thunderbolt.
It seems that the Bionic is a little more difficult to work with and I hope there are some options.
My preference would be a fully functional ICS rom, however, if the best I will do is GB then it has to be. I have to have all of the phone working and without hic-cups (phone, data, wifi, camera, etc.)...I am a heavy daily user and cannot afford to loose any functionality.
Please let me know what options are possible and add the links I will need to both root and install the files. I know there are past threads with this question, but I find it easier to follow new answers.

We are on the verge of ICS right now. There are tons of leaks, but anything newer than 232 will be unable to receive the official OTA.
