thanks for the reply. I'm currently using autoradio's New Experience Stock Based Rom and it already has a Beats Audio but still I experienced the same problems with my notification tones just like I used to with my stock rom. Is there any other workaround?

No FC so far in Beats. Did you uninstall it or deleted it directly in the system? Will try this one. Thanks.

Tried it but still no change in loudness of notification tones.
It's still not loud enough.

It's because of stock's audio limitations. that's why i switched to cyanogemmod in the first place:|
Also, there is no stock based rom that can match with cyanogen mod's audio quality (and quantity=) on headset.
Well, if that's the case then there's nothing we can do about it. Thanks anyway.

It's supposed for the XPERIA SP to have an option maybe in screen subsection in settings that disable LEDs... (Saw it on SonyXperia's youtube channel)

Follow these steps:
>While charging Open music player and play music and then lock the screen.
>Then press lock screen once and slide down the notification panel and tap on any notification other than music player
>phone will be unliocked and the music will continue to play with light beats
>Now, slide the notification panel and pause the music then Charging LED will turn off

At least a workaround exists. Lets hope Sony adds a function to disable LED in future update.
Why would you want to do this?!? :-S

You can open the following app with smart connect when you plug the phone
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.jannux.switchledoff
When you unplug it, you have to use "Switch LED off".

For some reason my XZ has started making a beep indicator whenever it is put in or taken out of the charging dock.
I cannot see anything in settings to stop it so if anyone knows please tell me as it is driving me nuts!
Thanks

Disable sound, place phone in charge dock, enable sound again!
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
or if your rooted, just delete dock.ogg & undock.ogg from system/media/audio/ui.
I want the beep!! How do I get it?
if i remember correctly, disabling Sony SmartConnect for the Dock should do the trick.
Unfortunately none if those worked but thanks anyway

I did the same thing.
One of the first things I always want to do with a new phone is turn off the stupid boot sound. Is there a hidden setting somewhere to do this on the AT&T GS5? With root it would be easy enough to change the audio file. Not looking for an app that kludges around the issue by muting when you reboot.
I only know about having the phone in silent or vibrate to have the boot silent.

Me too, I make sure it is on silent before restarting my phone, when I dont want it to sound off while booting up.
