There have been new Qualcomm GPU binaries released on their developer site here: https://developer.qualcomm.com/mobi...eno/mobile-gaming-graphics-optimization-tools
Download:https://mega.co.nz/#!9pwxERbS!DYb3W4R5z6nq9HBSK3TF7EHx-73GZ_nF_F5RFIykZtI Thanks to Medel-Silver and barome for adding F2FS support to the updater-script.
Note: This is identical to Qualcomm's zip; I just extracted it so you can download and flash. Props to Qualcomm for taking my suggestion to unify the mako and flo binaries so they work on all Nexii.
Revert to KOT49H (newest 4.4.2 stock) http://d-h.st/KHN
Shout out to DeesTroy and TeamWin; Qualcomm uses TWRP in the documentation
I noticed a slight smoothness and benchmark improvement, but your mileage may vary. Let me know how this goes for you.
These updated binaries should work on any ROM. No wipe necessary.
I find everything smoother maybe it's an illusion need more testers. Bump!

Not much difference in benchmarks on latest matr1x, but games like Temple Run don't seem to have any more stuttering

Flashed on Slimkat latest, no problem. Might be a bit smoother. Can't really tell. Thanks for the update!
update: using for a bit. It does seem to make things smoother. Not a huge difference..

I'm pretty sure you'd just reflash your rom.
Flashed, will report back with benchmark results.
Edit: negligible effect in antutu

The whole rom? Or could you get away with just flashing part of it? If so, which part?
@klvnhng, you're missing the point. People are still benchmarking? Being kinda smoother doesn't mean it will score more. Common sense.

Oh, you're on stock. Sorry I didn't read your post completely.
You can just flash system.img. This may or may not wipe your app data, I can't remember. The safest bet would be wait for xboxfanj to release revert zips.

This is true. But whether you like benchmarks or not, they are the only way of providing quantifiable data. Gut feelings like it 'feels smoother' don't.

Agreed, placebo is a strong force. But don't expect higher scores from our device. It will always be ~19.000-21.000 with stock frequencies
Edit: Actually, it makes it smoother. The window that pops up when an app requires root access(and if you have set it to automatically allow) is way smoother than before. Before it was frame-frame like it had Parkinson's.
Thank you! I was skeptical but I absolutely see an increase in performance, at least in responsiveness. You rock.
My 3dmark scores are considerably better: used to be 11,000s, now 12,084. That's one of the better benchmarks for this, so compare before and after.

As I said above I am very grateful, the coming soon thing is just a little premature. I enjoy a good amount of your roms and their quality, I guess I am just not a fan of Coming Soon threads. Take your time man, and make it the best you can.
Does Quick Launch look the same in this rom as it does in Bliss or is it themed accordingly?

Can confirm that WiFi Hotspot app works like a charm, as well as countless other things. No issues yet (other than the obvious wifi lol)
This may not be the correct place for this, but is there a way to change what settings are actually in the quick-settings pull down? I love having access to brightness, among other things. I notice that every ROM has a different set. Ace Revolution had everything I liked in that pull down but some others are lacking.
Just wondering, thanks!

Told you
Any recomendation?
having used both CM9 and AOKP on my Galaxy 8.9. I have found they both have different strengths. I would say CM9 is a bit more stable (although both roms are very stable) but AOKP is much more customisable.
I didn't get on very well at all with any of the galaxian soup roms I tried. I had to many FCs for my liking
AOKP Build 35 is a solid rom.
I found CM9 had a better battery life.
But IMO AOKP is much more responsive and smooth
AOKP build 35. Read the latest feedback there and you'll see. I lost very little battery overnight. I made a post on that thread containing the fixed ROMs, you can't miss it.
Sent from my SGH-T959
What's wrong with rolling your own ROMs?
I build my own, and simply pull patches off CM and AOKP gerrit when they suit me.

B35 is newer than Milestone 5. Also yes, there are ones with just nothing an average user cannot do. I think I will just keep downloading AOKP from the site. I will skip Build 36 since it has nothing really new and/or important.

Which Rom
Hi,
I just go my Galaxy Tab 8.9 delivered, great little piece of kit. I am just wondering whether it is worth to update it with a custom ROM or wait until the official release of ICS which should be pretty soon.
AOKP B35 is apparently the way to go, could please somebody point out for me where it is best to download. Dr. Google returns HD2 ROM, I guess this is the wrong device ...
Good luck installing B35. I've tried several times and cannot get it to flash. If you are successful, please give me a step by step how you did it.

Yes, totally worth it. ICS for this tab is taking its sweet ass time. You won't see it roll out for awhile no matter what you read.
Well, I've tried all that I can find. Gotta say, at least for me, The aokp b35 p5wifi with motleys v3+ kernal, nova launcher and Set CPU running a few custom profiles has been an epic experience for me. Truth be told, I do see browser lag, a cache and process clear resolves quickly.
Thankfully someone listed the fixed download and it worked perfectly.

Hey guys,
Here's just a ROM I have been messing around with called HighOnAndroid "Flyin' High" ROM for Galaxy Note 10.1 Wifi GT-N8013.
Since there's no ROM out now for Wifi versions, here's one you can try out.
It's pretty much based off stock ROM but I removed some bloatware (like Yahoo widgets) and put some features I wanted.
Features:
- GT-N8013 UEALH2 Base (Latest)
- Custom Boot Animation (put bootanimation.zip in /system/media directory with ES File Explorer (and enable Root Explorer/Mount in settings!)
- App2SD (You can read about it here)
- Jelly Bean Animations
- Init.d support
- Rooted/Superuser
- Deodexed/Zipaligned
- Only for those "Flyin' High"
Changelog:
v0.1 Deodexed, zipaligned, init.d support, jelly bean animations, custom boot animations, app2sd.
I am really working on my free time (and trust me I've got a million things to do), this is just something I do for fun. But I will try my best to update it at least once a week.
I do welcome any suggestions for features. Please keep them not "too wild", remember I don't have much time to really do a full ROM development here (Yes, I actually have a life and have to take kids to school like everyone else!) but little hacks here and there I can do.

Seriously though, why don't you download the .tar file for the stock firmware and pull the Snote.apk and push it to the update firmware. Cant see why it wouldnt work.

awesome
Running smooth, but had a hiccup.
I flashed the ROM, nano pa gapps, and the qremote app. First boot gave constant phone and media has stopped error.
Went back and installed without the qremote app and everything is smooth.
Think I found the answer on the G+ page but just to verify, this AOSP base?

I'm on 26a with no issues.
You on 2.8.1 recovery?
And by clean flash you wiped cache, dalvek chance, system, and data?
Also try different gapps maybe? I use 7-29 banks minimal.
Did you flash anything else with the ROM and gapps? As shown above, one poster was having issues flashing the qremote.
You need to give more information.

I'm on 26A and everything is butter so far, including phone. So maybe a bad download or something?

Double bummer, no dice with 24A, either
26A latest PA mini gapps, running great so far .
Thanks for another awesome build.
If this is cm based should we be using the jb baseband instead of the kk, is that correct?
