My phone autoupdated from 4.2.2 to 4.3 while it was rooted with activeroot. Now whenever I turn on my phone, I get the custom lock symbol whenever I reboot and my system status says "custom". However, when I boot into download mode, my knox warranty is still at 0x0. I need to send my phone in for warranty because I just received my replacement.
It says:
Odin Mode
Product Name: SGH-I537
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Custom
Knox Kernel Lock: 0x0
Knox Warranty Void: 0x0
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
Write Protection: Enable
eMMC Burst Mode enabled

If you sent it back to Samsung the way it is now they would know it's been rooted therefore they would consider your warranty void. You can un-root it by reinstalling the stock firmware and using triangle away, which will cost you like $3.

I am trying to reinstall the stock firmware, but since I have 4.3 on it, it won't let me go back to 4.2.2

Ah, I have already looked at that solution. Unfortunately the bootloader is locked on the official 4.3 ML2, so I cannot flash it back.

Ok the galaxy s4 active SGH-I537 are all the bootloaders locked or not as i have read some post here and else where that say some are and others are not when I go into Odin Mode i get
Odin Mode
Product Name: SGH-I537
Current Binary: Samsung Offical
System Status: Offical
Knox Kernel Lock: 0x0
Knox Warrenty Void: 0x0
CSD-Config-Lsb:0x30
Write Protection: Enable
eMC Burst Mode enabled
Now judging by reading this i am assuming that it is locked just looking for confirmation. The Reason I ask is i am wanting to dual boot the Phone with this http://www.efytimes.com/e1/fullnews.asp?edid=125119. For ubuntu touch although it says i need to have an unlocked phone and rooted which mine is rooted however they do not specifiy whether or not the mean sim unlocked or bootloader unlocked and i am going to take a shot in the dark and say they are meaning bootloader unlocked. if so would there be a possability to load the dual boot under safestrap ?

The i537 has a locked bootloader, the i9295 does not. You cannot flash ROMs on the i537 like you can on the i9295.

That is what I thought thank you for the reply i guess teh Ubuntu touch dual boot is out of the question untill unlocked bootloaders become a reality for use g4 user lol
Hi friends,
I upgraded to lollipop on my i9295 and when I go to bootloader I no more find Knox Warranty 0x0, what does that mean that there is no more knox security on my phone?
Can I flash custom kernel and rom freely without voiding my warranty?
Thanks in advance
Can someone advise please

If you Knox counter does not say 0x0, then your warranty has been voided. You can freely flash any Rom or kernel you want since it's no longer 0x0.
I don't really know enough about Knox security to know what exactly it does, but I can tell you that I have both an i537 with Knox security and an i9295 without and I have no idea what the difference is.
Thanks,
Before going to 5.0.1 official (never flashed custom) it was displayed and after the update it dissapear. It seem strange for me
I think there is a misunderstanding it is not that it shows 0x1 but whether it does not show anything about knox on bootloader
Just like the title says
Do you guys think the ATT S6 Edge variant would be root able? I'm trying to decide if I should just over to T-Mobile and have less coverage for a more friendly rom experience or stick with ATT and pray to the gods for root /unlocked bootloader.
Have to wait and see if the guys that got their phones today have locked bootloaders. Ive been waiting for someone to confirm this all day
My phone arrives Wednesday, and even if it has a locked bootloader, it can still be rooted (see below, S5 is locked and rooted), but I'm still curious about being able to root this thing.... Has the AT&T Note Edge been rooted? Haven't found anything saying it has yet, so that puts added pressure on finding out about this phone, theoretically
I have my Edge... The recovery log says it is bootloader G925AUCU1AOCE. Isn't that the same as the G4?
Any one been able to validate this yet?

Obviously I meant the S4...j/s
The reactivation lock is set by US when we setup phone. You can turn that off.
I left Big Red last week and just received my t mobile phone yesterday. It arrived with G920TUVU3DOI1. I have spent hours pouring through these threads looking for a root solution. Everything seems to either break KNOX or the fingerprinter sensor. Maybe both? I would like bootloader unlocked, but just root would be ok. Is there a solution?
Nope, everything you do will most likely trip knox and void your warranty. The only way to root is to flash unikernal which will void your warranty. Samsung has an efuse which cannot be reset when knox is tripped.

I'm rooted with knox tripped and my Finger Print Sensor works fine..
Unfortunately DO1 and on can't be rooted without tripping Knox
Can I fix this in fastboot mode by OEM locking it?
I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at, but fastboot mode doesn't exist in Samsung devices.

Did you root your phone?
Is Knox tripped? Is it 0x1 in download mode.
If knox is 0x0 in download mode then you should be able to go to developer options and turn OEM switch off also might want to do a factory reset afterwards.
But if Knox is 0x1 (tripped) then you can NOT go back to knox being 0x0! Knox fuse will always be blown for good, only way to fix it is a new motherboard! You should be able to run stock firmware but you'll lose all knox related stuff like Samsung pay and secure folder.
