Aside from the obvious Reboot & Reboot to Recovery, you LONG PRESS on Recovery and it will boot into your bootloader.
Note: This is based on the most current version of JellyBean for the NS4G (version 7)

Downloaded and flashed over the correct rom. After Boot and unlocking phone it will loop back to the boot animation after about 10 seconds

Hello,
Sounds like you could have had a bad flash or the possibility you weren't running version 6a.
Hopefully you made a nandroid backup before you flashed and you can restore that and try flashing the mod again.
This is the first reported fail after about 200 downloads of this modification.
Good luck, report back.

LOL i was stupid and didnt back up the rom but it wasnt much on there. But I forgot to say thank you in the first place. I'm about to backup the rom and re-try, will report back later

Reported back , reflashed the rom and then redownloaded and flashed mod, it works great. Thank you for your great work

Screenshot can still be easily achieved just using the standard Power & Volume Down option. I know many devs throw in that screenshot mod to the reboot menu but to be it seems a little pointless. I will look into seeing what I can do, no promises..
Torch.. That I think is a ways off still.

HAAA i cracked it, and install to crecpo
I opened file updater-script (in zip) and find ro.product.device - changed parameter from "crespo4g" to "crespo"

I can confirm this works for nexus s! But after rebooting the haptic feedback for the touch buttons are really weak!

But what's weird is that I keep having to reinstall the xda app after every reboot, is the mod the cause of this?

I don't see why this mod would have anything to do with causing the XDA app to not stick.

Yep should work on the Nexus S after redoing the updater script. Haptic feedback was not affected or changed for this so it really should not be affecting it. In no way was files for haptic feedback even touched.

No thank you..back to a ROM that actually will boot. Maybe I will try again in a few weeks when the bugs are worked out.

Confirmed working , Just let the gears spin and it kicks in eventually. Fairly large for a bare bones ROM but works as described.
Thanks for sharing Gecko225 , but alas back to my normal flavour of Android. I just need the tweaks and eye candy for my senses lol.
Nice ROM tho , pretty smooth to use. :good:
EDIT : Just realised that GApps was included in the ROM so size is just right.

Think my flash took around 5 mins maximum (if that) and the gears spun for a few mins and then I got the standard droid set up screens.
Maybe a bad/corrupt download ?

I will Stop Building GeckoROM For a moment . This is my last year at High School and i want to be concentrated to pass my exam. So i am Uploading an Build . After this Build, my next buid will come In 10 Months

Not working for me. I stay stuck at the beginning of the Samsung screen. Really wish I could try this out as the screenshots look nice. I will say I am on CWM 6.0.1.2 and yes I read you have to be on 6.0.1.0 I just wanted to try...will be reverting just to try this out. Be back with the verdict.
Edit: Now on CWM 6.0.1.0 and still stuck Samsung screen...really sad since I wanted in on this Thx for the ROM anyway.

You should use AIO-ToolKit and select option 4->1->1->1. SU660 chances to NewBoodloader with P990 partition.

Do you need any more :silly:? Your phone is only SU six six zero, they don't care and never support more, ha ha ha You can try to use a TWRP V2.6. Your question is just like that?

Quite easy! You can treat it as a boot.img ,unpack it ,give it an SU660 newbl kernel,repack it.That's all.

No problem, you can check the original thread and follow step by step instructions once more from the start. It's a safe process and you should go through it with ease
Just be sure to check the appropriate options for partition layout / bootloader (which depend on the rom you're going to install)

What is this?
This is Bump! A new and easy way to sign boot images for most modern LG phones so they'll boot on any locked phone.
Bump an image once, and flash it to however many phones you please.
How does this work?
Simply create an account on the site, click "Bump!", upload the boot/recovery images (also known incorrectly as 'kernels') and the service will automatically Bump them for you.

I'm just a user, do I need this?
Most likely not. If you're just flashing ROMs, this is a tool for developers only. There is no need to Bump ROMs yourself if you're not editing anything in the kernel, recovery, or ramdisk.
How do I know if something is Bump'd?
Look for the word "signed" or "bumped" in the filename. We will create a new section of the site soon that allows you to verify that a file is bumped soon enough.

As a user you don't have to be concerned about it if. Developers can now support latest boot stack without needing their users to downgrade it to use the loki hack. Though towleroot + autorec had already made our task of rooting and installing recovery very easy.

Did u bump twrp recovery? It didn't work on vs980 on 26a.

Flash it like flash the rom, not need to wipe, just install it in recovery
