Try this:
1.download fastboot.zip
2. download your-custom-rom.zip
3 put your-custom-rom.zip in the fastboot folder.
4 rename your-custom-rom.zip to ROM.zip
5 in the fastboot folder keep shift pressed and at the same time click with the right mouse click on an empty space in the fasboot folder.
5 now you can see the option open CMD here or somethink similair (in my case its in dutch)
6 now make sure youre in recovery and mount and only data is selected just as described above and that your phone is connected,
7. typ in the cdm which apears in step 5
adb push ROM.zip /sdcard/.
then hit enter and wait for 10 minutes untill it says finished or something like that i forgot. if it doesnt say any think just wait!!
goodluck

Flash superuser
You can either do it via my tool or the others or do it manual by installing goo.im and let that flash recovery. Then find superuser as a flash able zip from xda and flash it.

hi anders, i did the goo thing. it didnt reboot my phone and enter fastboot. i tried to run the recovery to install superuser but i get a black screen when it tries to load.
i have ran ETv3. xl multitool 2.1. both give me a error saying there is more than one device and emulator. does this mean there is a software issue on my phone or certain usb plugged into my pc? i read somewhere i have to uninstall htc sync. do i reinstall this?

If i remeber correctly goo.im require s off. When using computer, use a USB 2.0 port and correct drivers installed and if still same issue remove what is attached to USB but keep keyboard and mouse. Also try not to use a USB port in from of the computer but use the port from the main board directly in the back and use no USB hubs.

[Q] Stock Recovery Partition Missing?

Just curious, does anyone have a dump of the recovery partition for the Dev Edition? It looks like from a bit of reading is that the recovery partition doesn't seem to be present.
I am unable to use recovery mode properly since it saids invalid operation when I do apply from SD, storage or cache, followed by the phone automatically restarting.
Has anyone else noticed this? I wonder if the unlocked 32 GB versions is unaffected.
try to reflash the recovery, the partitions should be the same as the original One
I tried to do that by using the RUU and using the zip, but it did not bring it back.
Is there a way to get the recovery image itself? I tried to extract the zip but it looked like it's encrypted as I cannot do so.
Looks like one mike1986 mentioned it's missing as well.
mike1986. said:
1. Well, I decided not to mention some things to avoid confusion. At the moment unlocking bootloader removes content of /data/preload partition, so indeed, installing OTA will fail. But I truly hope that HTC will fix it at some point and unlocking bootloader won't cause some stock apps to be missing.
2. Which procedure?

Hmm, I'm beginning to wonder if the stock recovery is suppose to work like that, where if I try to apply storage, sd card, or cache it saids invalid operation and reboot. The reason is, a new HTC One S my relative got she her phone is being replaced for free under warranty... I go to the recovery and do those certain the apply stuff, it also saids invalid operation out and restarts!
I find this a bit interesting on my HTC One when I go to the recovery and wondering the failed mount SD card messages is normal.

1- you should be using TWRP 2.6.3.3 or .4 (other versions and recoveries don't work with 4.4 ROMs)
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7ul
^^ make sure to check MD5 on the download!!!!!
2- why are you flashing recovery in RUU mode?
3- it should be "fastboot flash recovery <name of recovery>.img" <- in blue, it's supposed to be lowercase, not uppercase

You will probably need to run a RUU to reset your phone. If you can not find a RUU, post a fastboot getvar all except for the imei and serialno so we can research it.
What custom recovery are you using?

Here is the stock rom 6.09.401.5 you will have to flash it in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB. Copy the file to your adb/fastboot folder and rename it rom.zip. Open a command window on that folder and type:
Code:
[B][I]adb reboot bootloader[/I][/B]
After that, type:
Code:
[B][I]fastboot oem rebootRUU [/I][/B]
NOTE: You should see a silver HTC logo come up on your phone after executing this command.
NOTE: if this command freezes, just disconnect the USB cable and hold the power and volume down buttons until the device reboots. Then, repeat the steps above again.
Finally:
Code:
[B][I]fastboot flash zip rom.zip[/I][/B]
Repeat the same command: IMPORTANT
Code:
[B][I]fastboot flash zip rom.zip[/I][/B]
NOTE: The green bar on the phone may not go to 100% of the bar ... but If you see completed on your computer command window, wait for a few seconds and move on.
Last Step:
Code:
[B][I]fastboot reboot[/I][/B]

If you are S-OFF then you would flash it in fastboot. If you are S-ON then you will need to flash this nandroid backup in TWRP. You just need to extract the folder and place it in the folder with the rest of your TWRP backups. If you don't have any, then just get into TWRP and select Backup. Then just copy the file to the same folder as your last backup.

Did you get the nandroid to work or did you try to flash ARHD 53.0 again? You also might try TWRP 2.6.3.3 it seems to work with most roms.
Here is firewater s-off it is the only free one that will work with your high hboot. If you get "whelp that sucks" message then firewater will not work for your phone. You then could try Sunshine S-OFF, however it will cost $25.

Did you make a backup as I instructed? If so, then copy the nandroid extracted folder to your phone in the same directory that backup is in /TWRP/BACKUP/<YOUR SERIALNO>/<NAME OF FOLDER>. Then boot into recovery and select Restore; you should see the extracted folder; select it. This will put your stock rom on your phone. If this doesn't restore your imei then you will need to return the phone to a service center.

[Q] [Help] Messed up my HTC ONE M7- Rooted(No Os)

So,
I was just about to install cm 12, so I could get lollipop, and I made a huge mistake.
Accidentally wiped my internal data, so now everything is gone and I don't know what to do.
Now whenever my phone is rebooted its just frozen on the Htc one boot screen, and when I go back into recovery it says no os, when i say to restart.
So how do I fix this guys?
I need my phone for school, so is there a quick fix that I can do on my computer?
Or do I have to buy something
Please help!
Update: I have now relocked the device, idk what to do here.
Do i usee the RUU?
Which one?
My phone is from Rogers, but I can use a Canadian or American one, idk which one Rogers switches too.

yes the cache does not matter we formatted it remember
fastboot erase cache - that gives you the error it means nothing during the sideload
Try adb push rom.zip /sdcard
and install the rom.zip from twrp Install
