No. How to flash VZW ROM? right a problem? I wanted to learn it...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sightidea.locale&hl=en
Try this
You need root access.
Since Moto X only comes with 4 preinstalled languages, i've been told that the tons of other languages which normally is in Android, might be hiding in the ROM.
Have anyone tried modifying the default.xml file, to include the other languages, and see if they appear in the language settings in the phone?
This guide explains how to do it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2281254
Hope someone will give it a try, and test it out. Would really love if the Moto X could get danish language.
That would be very interesting for German language too.
Does anyone tried out so far?
thanks a lot

If you have an unlocked bootloader, you can flash verizon KK 4.4 firmware that comes with all languages. After flash you need to be rooted to clean from all The vzw bloat. I'm using it on my xt1053 in Italy without any problem. Now mg device looks like Xt1060 but works very well on voice and data.

German Language as well?
I also have the XT1053 and would like to flash German language...

Yes! German also. After flash you must root and remove alla the verizon apps and services, mainly from pvt-app folder, including odex files. After this, you will have a complete clean german system.

Aha! Well that's interesting. So if I were to buy a sim-unlocked T-mobile version from motomaker, with an unlockable bootloader, I could flash a verizon KK 4.4 firmware, and get danish language? Can you flash a firmware from another carrier without problems? I thought you would brick your phone, by picking a wrong firmware?
This make me think. If verizon has all languages installed, don't you think t-mobile has aswell? They are probably just hidden in the rom, waiting to be unlocked through the default.xml file?
I would be awesome, if someone with a t-mobile moto-x, would try and alter the default.xml to show all languages, and see if they indeed would appear in the system. Because t-mobile doesn't come with all the bloatware as the verizon version.
I searched for the "default.xml" file but with Root Explorer i can not find in Moto X XT1053
Maybe there is another path to .xml file as HTC and Samsung.
Do not understood why VZW Moto X does have all languages and TMO Moto X does not...

Okay cool, thanks for trying.
I have been searching google all day, trying to find where motorola might be hiding the file, but I can't seem to find anyone mentioning anything.
One guyd did mention that we could try the app MoreLocale2, which could tell if more languages were hiding in the rom, than what the phone were showing. The app can also change the system language to whatever one might need, if it is still in the rom.
Care to try the app BUDNI? Would be nice if someone with a TMO MotoX would try it out.
LINK: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale&hl=da
MoreLocale2 i already have installed on my MotoX.
Its pretty good.
But it just changed the language for apps, PlayStore, Keyboard and so on.
Not the system language at all.
(the "original" Languages are only English, French, Spanish and Portuguese)

MoreLocale2 doesn't bring up a full language system. To do that you must have a built in language and i don't think they are just hidden, they are simply not compiled.
I've tried both, vzw and tmo firmwares and only vzw comes with the whole language pack.
You must be bootloader unlocked and use RSD lite to flash the firmware. after this, just flash twrp and supersu. Then remove all vzw bloat with a root file manager, simplest to do it than to explain it.
another nice surprise for me, was that with vzw and Italian, i can use touchless controll ("ok google now") in italian and it works very well. That was not possible with tmo+more locales, it just gave me "unsupported language". Now I can use hands free calling while driving, and this was impossible for me with Italian language on all previous versions and still impossible with my nexus 4 updated to 4.4.1...So, I expect that touchless controll will work with German too (not sure with Danish).

Hm.. I actually thought it would. Can MoreLocale2 change the keyboard to Danish?
There is also Set Locale and Language. Haven't tried it, but it gets good reviews.
Try it out, and see if that works: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bruce.setlocale

Hah! This is awesome. Thanks Sanez. Real proof.
So what I need to do (and all other europeans):
1. Buy a T-mobile motomaker Moto X (For a sim-unlocked phone, with no carrier brand on the back)
2. Root it
3. Get a bootloader code and unlock it (Screw warrenty)
4. Flash a Verizon ROM
5. Remove Verizon bloatware
5. Bingo! Profit.. danish Moto X, ready to work..

1 Any GSM with unlockable bootloader (xt1058 ot xt1053 roger, tmo or latin america models) I did on xt1053 nextel mexico.
2 Follow and learn everything about fastboot, root and RSD. You must be confident with flash procedures to avoid problem
3 Unlock bootloader (you will avoid warranty)
4 Install Verizon 4.4 firmware This will erase all your data.
5 Install TWRP (fastboot flash recovery)
6 Root ( flash Supersu with TWRP)
7 Remove Verizon bloatware
8 Enjoy your Moto x updated to 4.4 and with your own language.
Touchless only works with few languages. For sure it works with English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.

I am afraid not. The GSM network functions have been disabled by firmware and are SIM locked in the Sprint Moto X. If you wan't to use a Moto X in Germany, get a Developer Version or a T-Mobile version, which both are SIM Unlocked and works on the GSM network.
really not? The Sprint Moto X is bootloader unlockable and if i change the Firmware to the Verizon one.
Is someone able to make a full flashable zip to get all locations? I think the languages are in the framework
Sorry for wrong Device but there is no other forum
You say that the verizon 4.4 rom of the moto x includes also german as system language. I ordered a Droid mini which is not far away from the moto x. My question is if the verizon 4.4 rom of the Droid mini also includes german as system language.
Thank you for help!

Hi, I have this problem which is, i bought my Sony Xperia Tablet Z from China, and i believe it is locked onto the asian software which is (i think) causing me unable to use Play Store. Is there a way that i can change the software back to the UK or Europe software? It's really annoying that i cannot download apps from the play store.
Somebody out there please help me!

it isnt actually an error.. it is the font you use for you mobile that let you not show you the sinhala language so if you are not rooted there isnt an option to select an other font.
but if you rooted try some different fonts for your anndroid phone
