I'm having a problem connecting my phone to the stock email client. Does anyone have an idea on how to get yahoo to connect.

Open email, type in user name and password, click manual setup, click imap, type in imap.mail.yahoo.com, leave port same, click next, type in smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com, click next... that should get you going, it worked for me!

I don't think you have to pay to do IMAP connect - only if you want POP3. For me Yahoo worked even with auto settings. Only thing is, I have not been able to get it to push email. I have to set it to check regularly.
I had it set up before I started using cognition but more it won't let me. It keeps saying wrong user name or password and I know their both right

Yahoo is free for pop3 email but you have to pay for imap (push email) the same reason I gave it up and never suggest yahoo to anyone. Dont believe me check THIS out
Anyone using the stock Email app notice your deleted emails keep popping back up as new?

What are you connecting to for your email? Hotmail, activesync, etc?
Just connecting to my Isp's pop mail server. Settings are set to delete mail from server when I delete from inbox.

I see this too and would like to know why. It's really sad no one has responded to your post by now.
I am using the AT&T Galaxy SIII variant but this particular issue doesn't appear to be device-specific.

Figured it out. In GMail hit Settings then select your account. From there hit Sync and check Auto sync apps. Then select your account and checkmark all that you want to sync.
I disable Google now on my first use and now I can't enable it I searched and says I should go to Google search app and settings and the toggle should be there but I only have voice, phone search and privacy and accounts. I'm on Omar's rom anyone knows what's going on? Could it be another app I uninstalled?

Randomly yesterday I stopped getting email alerts from Outlook. All settings are on push but it doesn't automatically push them. Any ideas?
