Check your apn's should be
AT&T LTE
pta

http://mmsc.att.mobile.net
proxy.att.mobile.net
80

none
default,supl,mms,hipri
And the last few lines will default to correct settings. But that's listed in order top to bottom. Except the last few lines that will default like I said. Check those if they're correct then may be an antenna issue. I got a moto RAZR one time that wouldn't connect to 4g and it was the internal antenna. They sent out a new one over night. No argue no issue. The new one worked great.

MMS Issues

I recently got my vivid and when I got it the lte wasn't working so I found what I needed to change the apn and I copied everything verbatim and now my mms isn't working. I made sure everything was correct and even deleted the apn and redid it but still my pictures get stuck in a continuous sending loop. Any help would be appreciated. Here are screenshots of my settings, maybe I missed something?

Just do this...
1) go to your local att store
2) ask for an LTE compatible sim (if you have one skip to 3)
3) ask them to enable LTE on your phone...no you won't be charged extra, no your plan won't be changed...everything will be the same except you now have LTE (this can also be done over the phone)
4) use the stock (PTA) apns
5) enjoy LTE and mms
Again...nothing above will cost you money (well...I guess there's gas) you will keep your plan...no hidden fees or extra charges or higher cost for phone bill...EVERYTHING THAT RELATES TO MONEY WILL STAY THE SAME

I have all that done already. Just left the att and they couldn't figure it out

So you don't have lte then...your using hspa+ (which shows as 4g I believe) Its impossible to set up lte by your self...because att has to enable it for your number...you can set up mobile internet on your own but you can't set up lte on your own (unless you hack into att systems and change it your self )
Just call att and tell them to enable lte for you...then use stock apns and enjoy download speeds of over 20mb/s (assuming you have late where you live)

I have LTE and I got everything working. When I got the phone the apn was programmed only to run on the hspa+ to save battery life and so I just went and changed the apn and enabled the LTE again (i do have it where I live I get between 25mb/s to 38mb/s depending on time of day) but when I changed the apn my mms stopped working so I just decided to delete all the apn's on the phone and start over and now everything is working as it should. That also seemed to fix the random restarts cause I haven't had a single restart since I've done that though may just be coincidence

[Q] Motorola Atrix HD on AIO Wireless

I signed up for AIO Wireless on Friday (Aug 16) here in Houston. Just for that day, I got LTE reception from AIO.
Starting Aug 17 (next day), I am not getting any LTE reception. When I go to Network app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network), it displays that I am on WCDMA band. Interesting thing is that I can not change that band.
When I was on AT&T, I was able to move from WCDMA to LTE/GSM/WCDMA and vice versa.
My question is - if there is anyone who is not getting LTE on AIO in Houston/Miami?
Also - any help on getting my phone provisioned to LTE would be great !
You can't change it in your phones network settings or the secret phone menu?

I am on stock AT&T rom (with root and unlocked b/l). I tried *#*#4636#*#* but it is not working from phone app.
There is no other setting to choose band or carrier in settings.
Is there an alternate way to execute secret command?
It sounds like a bad sim card. Also, download an app called lte on/off for thunderbolt. It will take you to the secret settings menu that AT&T blocks access to from the dialpad. It works on phones other than the thunderbolt.

Hmm...but my phone and data (HSDA and HSDA+) are working...
Hmm. Try the phone settings trick from my other comment. It's also possible they are just doing network updates or something.

I tried that without luck..Network app that I used is same as that...may be that's the secret menu that AT&T blocks...which is accessible from Network or LTE ON/OFF app...
Get pimp my rom and under tools there is access hidden menu which will get you there also. You don't have the network mode option under mobile networks?
Sent from my PACMAN MATRIX HD MAXX
It should take you to a testing menu the first of which is phone information. It is the same as you get by dialing *#*#info#*#* if you can get to that menu and it won't let you switch to LTE/GSM/WCDMA, then it probably is a sim issue.

All is well...phone got automatically re-provisioned and now can log on to LTE when available.
One thing to note though, LTE speeds are capped at 6-7 mb!
Thanks anyone who responded.

[APN] Straight Talk All, AIO Wireless Flashable & (for Devs) Sprint Full Data Fix

Download the file and flash it after you flash your ROM and gapps. Once it boots up go into to your APN settings. By hitting settings>more>mobile networks>access point names.
Hit the little menu button and select default.
Select the Straight Talk APN that pops up and reboot.
I've tested and this works great. APNs are not a hard thing to enter but just a pain in the butt and you may not always have your APN settings.
So if you have Straight Talk you can use this for your APN this is not for any other cell phone provider.

Thanks for this, although I set up my new sim manually. I was able to get AT&T LTE here in Beaverton, Oregon. However, the speed is not impressive - about 6-8 mbps down and 2mbps up. Any trick to improve? Or am I stuck with that in my area?

Same speeds as mine down 4 Mbps up though. I came from Sprint 4g at 20+ Mbps and to this honestly I haven't noticed a difference. Stuff loads just as fast

Yeah, haven't noticed much difference myself either, as the phone is blazing fast compared to my Droid Razr. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss any setup.
i wish i had this two days ago lol. i've entered my apn about 12 times already. to anyone not sure, this is the exact APN on straight talk's site
http://straighttalkbyop.com/program.php#
Name straight talk
APN tfdata
Port 80
MMSC http://mms-tf.net
MMS Proxy mms3.tracfone.com
MMS Port 80
and this is in the zip
<apn mnc="410" mcc="310" mmsport="80" mmsproxy="mms3.tracfone.com" mmsc="http://mms-tf.net" port="80" apn="tfdata" carrier="Straight Talk"/>
as you can see they are identical :good:
I just signed up for StraightTalk. And apparently, it seems you use different APNs depending on which SIM you installed. There's one for AT&T, one for T-Mobile, and a third one (?).
Here's a site that gives the info for the AT&T and T-Mo ones.

Use a SM-N9005 on AT&T?

I have a sm-n9005 and I'm trying to use it on at&t. I bought the sim card and literally just got the prepaid plan. my data isn't working though. The at&t guy said my phone is blocking the data. I can make and receive calls. I think he was trying to get me out the store. Can someone help me on getting data working?
Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
Go to the settings menu and select more networks, then mobile networks. Make sure the data box is checked. Then check the apn (access point names) settings and make sure they are the same as your prepaid network.

[Q] Moto X Pure Edition on Cricket w/ LTE?

I've seen similar posts to this, but none with any kind of solid answer so far. I have a chance to get a XT1095 for pretty cheap tomorrow and would like a clear answer to the question of it not only working on Cricket and also get LTE? If not will it work on HSPA? Thx in advance, I'm kind of confused by all this and would love to hear from somebody that has or had this particular model on Cricket. I'm coming from a Nexus 5 which was just plug n play with my Cricket SIM so that's what has me a bit lost here.
You shouldn't have any problems with it. I see they have a GSM sim. As long as that's the one you have you should get LTE.

Yeah the guy had it on T-Mobile so its definitely GSM compatible. I'm mostly just wondering about getting the LTE/data to work. I saw an article online that said the XT1095 had less bands than the other variants. Either way thanks for replying so quickly!
I also read though that Motorola was planning on adding the missing bands via update but can't find if that update was already pushed or not.
The band issue was with kit kat it has been updated with 5.0 and 5.1. You should get LTE and if you don't it will probably be because you have to set up the APN yourself which is easy.
Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk
Now that's exactly what I was wanting to know, TY! I'm very familiar with how to change APN's so it looks like I'm good to go!
I'm using my XT 1095 on cricket and I'm very pleased. It is LTE compatible but be advised to use the APN settings on cricket website. As long as you are aware of crickets speed limitations, you will be pleased.
