are you sure you flashed the M7 twrp and not the WLS version of twrp?
md5 cheksum both twrp zip and arhd zip to make sure its not a bad download. If you don't know how to cheksum then reffer to nkk71's guide in the ''not so FAQ #1'' section (post #1)
erase cache then try to flash twrp again (2.6.3.3 preferred for arhd 52)
Yea i the m7 Twrp , I can boot into rewcovery but it says it cant mount internal storage or able to mount data or cache

And this is the 2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4 version??
When you hit ''install'' in twrp does it say something like ''storage: internal storage (0 MB)'' just below ''select zip to install'' ?

I attempted to root my HTC One and failed.
Unlocked the bootloader, flashed TMRP, then flashed the newest SuperSu binary.
Upon booting the ROM, i found that it would only stay on a few moments after booting. Recovery no longer worked either.
I have attempted to load RUU and reflash recovery to no avail. I have tried that last several versions of TWRP and CWM for recovery.
"fasboot erase cache" was after the first boot. "fastboot erase userdata" has an error when attempted.
So far all RUU files I have found don't have signatures.

Once I flash the SuperSU binary using TWRP i was unable to load recovery.
Erase cache in bootloader did not help.
Now I have relocked to flash an RUU, but I have not found a signed image.
I may have to just send it to google/HTC and pay them their money.

if you want to root you just need to flash twrp 2.6.3.3 custom recovery. Enter recovery then exit, you'll be prompted to root your phone. After install SuperSu apk ok Superuser. Btw you'll probably loose root when you'll update the phone ota.

It should update with root but you'll probably loose root access after any OTA. You then will need to root again. I converted my phone like you with the 3.22.1540.1 ruu and rooted it with twrp recovery. Then I flashed back stock recovery and I had no issue updating ota twice (4.06.1540.2 then 4.06.1540.3) even if I had root. But I lost root privileges and needed to root again.
Also restore stock recovery otherwise may screw up on OTA

ok first you need to understand some basics:
/system partition is where your OS is stored
/data partition is where your user data are stored
/recovery partition is the alternative boot partition to access recovery console (stock or custom recovery like cwm or twrp)
/cache partition is where the OS store frequently accessed data from app
/sdcard is where you store your personal files like music, docs, pictures etc...
when you flash recovery it only affect /recovery partition
when you erase cache it only erase /cache partition, not /data not /system and not /sdcard. So no user data or personal files will be wiped
data wiped from /cache will be automatically reloaded as you continue using the device.
and FYI when you perform a factory reset, this wipe /data
Hope its clear for you now.
Hi All,
I tried installing CM11 using CM installer in my HTC One(M7). I wanted to try this and didnt like much, so tried restocking the Stock OS using RUU. Unfortunately the RUU update threw an error 155.
I realized I had used a wrong RUU file. Now the Phone was stuck on HTC logo.
I tried to reload CM11 with CM installer. It got stuck in CM boot screen.
So I tried to restock another ROM using adb sideload command (My CWM was accessible). But that was a Google edition ROM and my S-ON was on. So again it is stuck in the Google boot screen.
I have tried almost all the options that I searched in XDA/youtube.
I know I am missing out some key things.
Request you all to help me to get out of this.

that's not needed on the M7, even with S-On
OP, update TWRP, get TWRP from:
2.6.3.3: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
or 2.6.3.4: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7ul
(make sure MD5 is correct, that site does not play nice with download managers)
I also think 2.7.1.2 works but i haven't tested it personally: http://mdmower.cmphys.com/twrp-m7/
in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader

"Cir fail pu" = Consumer infrared - partition update fail
Which basically mean that the RUU was unable to write the CIR.img to your CIR partition, for some reason...
Since your phone is S-OFF you can flash unsigned firmware so the best option would be to download the 5.03.651.3 firmware.zip, remove the CIR.img from it and flash it to your phone (it won't attempt to flash the CIR partition so it won't give you any fail).
Download this one: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358553240 open it and remove the CIR.img. Then flash it to your phone:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 5.03.651.3_firmware_RUU.zip
fastboot flash zip 5.03.651.3_firmware_RUU.zip
fastboot reboot

Did you erased the cache and restarted bootloader after flashing twrp? What version of twrp? Is that problem with the display only in the OS?
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader

6.23.651.10 is the latest version: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24588232905725176
But you'll probably get the same problem with your CIR partition when flashing that RUU.
You'll either have to do the same procedure (remove the CIR.img from the 6.23.651.10 firmware and flash it) or decrypt the RUU before flashing so you can remove the CIR.img.

Ok i got it bro..Thank u veryy much
Hey,
long story short, a friend has an old HTC One m7. We revived it from beeing deeply discharged. It was in a bootloader loop.
OS version is NOT shown in the bootloader, no matter which ROM is installed. So we started repairing the system. First I unlocked the bootloader via HTCDev, then flashed TWRP(phone is without branding and S-ON).
This works quite fine. The first problem then was a corrupted storage, which showed a capacity of 2,2 exaByte. Wiping, formatting did not work. So I changed the filesystem and back and then i could wipe, format and the storage capacity was correct again.
No matter which ROM I will flash, if Android 4.4, Android 6.0 or 7.0 and so on, nothing works.
Lineage and some others get stuck at "starting apps", some other just have the boot animation forever.
Only Omni Rom boots into the system, but then i crashes always after a couple of seconds.
I tried also Nandroid backup restores or flash the rom with or without GApps and so on.
I have no idea what to do else. Can anyone help?
Summary:
HTC One (m7)
S-ON
Bootloader HTCDev unlocked
HBOOT-1.61.0000
TWRP 3.2.1-0
ADB Sideload Service inside TWRP not starting
normal ADB commands ARE working
fastboot mode is working
OS Version / OS not detected, not installable, not bootable (no matter which one)

Did you tried flashing a RUU?
Can you post the output of "fastboot getvar all" so we can know the exact state of the phone. Don't forget to remove the imei and serialno lines before posting

the problem with the RUU's is, that when I do
Code:
fastboot getvar version-main
no version is shown, so
I don't know which RUU to choose.

Use the 7.19.401.51 ruu
Don't forget to use htc_fastboot.exe instead of fastboot.exe (see the ruu thread in the general section)

Sunshine is required for hboot 1.57 or higher, so the answer is no.
