Hi guys,
My powerbutton is sometimes not working. In the beginning smashing it would fix the problem but that doesn't work anymore. I'm using MIUI GB, first I didn't have the problem so I don't think it's the ROM, but it might be a bug.
Any ideas?

I've been using the phone for like a week now..had some bugs and problems with it..the most recent one was that i can not access an app with a single tab on the app icon...i have to tap it like 7 8 times...i after playing with radio bands and stuff i somehow managed to block my phone from my network provider so i had no coverage so i resorted the phone and after the factory reset the phone was just bugless...although the app problem appeared again..

You really should use the Sony charger. The HTC charger may have a different output.

Is it safe to install the developer preview eventhough the.phone is in a contract on a certain telco? Does.it. Not affect the signal functionality?
Or it is only applicable to open line phones??

Since you don't flash the Radio ROM, but only the OS itself, it should work.
Ah ok.. But is there a way that the phone can be sim unlocked?

Hi! I just got my hands on a S3 LTE edition! i9305.. And the baseband shows unknown.. and there is no imei.. i have no backup of efs or imei from before.. its my freinds phone.. so is there anyway to fix this? It also reboots every 5 minutes.. if there is anyone who knows.. would be great to know..

Anyone knows?..
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
well with no IMEI there isn't much you can do..that is store on a separated chip on the motherboard of the phone...IMEI is unique to all phones...with no back-up you need to change that chip or entire motherboard...as for the baseband it's easy...flash firmware for your country from samfirmware.com
with no imei the baseband will not show up,,, take it to a service center or ask your local phone repair store
Anyway to create a imei file an enter the imei under the battery?.. it all happenden when i lost it in water for a little while.. reboots every 5 minutes and no baseband or imei.. any other solution than giving it to a service center?..

You dropped it in water...
Unless you quickly remove the battery and leave it sitting in rice for a few days straight afterwards there is nothing you can do.

In my case .. I leave my phone without the battery and battery cover on top of wifi router ( air hole side up) over night. And flashed stock based custom rom and worked for me... hope it will help
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app
Yes that can work. But unless you take out the battery as soon as it gets wet then it's all over

Now sony provide service to unlock our bloatloader.
You can check your device availability at http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/
I thought it was always possible by Sony. I did it with my old Xperia go. So what's new and different?
