Network lock

Is there an easy east to see if my 3 mobile XZ is locked to the network without using another SIM? I know the bootloader is locked.

[Q] Need advice

I hav dust accumulated from inside on my camera's glass.. n i hav unlocked my bootloader..
I need advice whether i should clean it myself or take it to a service center..
and if i take it to service do i relock bootloader..

Its better to take it back to service but you must lock the bootloader

[Q] Phone Locked Update to 8.1

Is it safe to install the developer preview eventhough the.phone is in a contract on a certain telco? Does.it. Not affect the signal functionality?
Or it is only applicable to open line phones??

Since you don't flash the Radio ROM, but only the OS itself, it should work.

Ah ok.. But is there a way that the phone can be sim unlocked?

There are some apps providing battery statistics. The best ones (BetterBatteryStats and Battery Stats Plus) can only be installed if you have root access but there might be others. These apps tell you what's consuming so much power. Don't get me wrong. I don't mean apps that actively change your phone config to save power. To begin with you only need statistics that help troubleshooting.

You might want to tell us more about your phone, is it rooted? Is it running stock?

Go "Settings...Developer Options" and there make sure the Stay Awake is not ticked/checked

man this happen with me sometime ago with my old Samsung and HTC it may happen coz of the charger or cable it self try to use other cable and charger it could help.

It's running on my Xperia Z using Existenz v7 and also using 4.4.. It succeed in some of its features but I wasn't able to test more since I didn't have that knowledge

dont think it will sniff password out for you
it cant even snif mine. the "tools" that it provide are only working
if you are connected to the network you want to test

Ahh that's a shame. Thanks guys. How about the older galaxy phones. Will they work? I don't have a model number yet but I will post it as soon as I do.
