What are good ranges of temp. For both CPU and battery.. What's too horny? I assume if **** gets too hot it has some sort of Safety mechanism that will notify you or just shut down. Is that safe to assume?

You should always keep it out of sunlight... the black behind the glass operates as a sun collector and makes the phone alot hotter than the ambient temp... since I avoided that one thing it has never gotten out of hand.
Where did you get the arrgh kernel? I've been looking for it all other the place, it doesn't seem to have a thread in the Atrix HD section.
Try not to use your phone a lot while it's charging as it causes the battery to heat up alot (current is going into the battery and then your phone is sucking it right back out). Doing that can make it really frigging hot, trust me I been there.

I was wondering about actual degrees.. I have a temp and CPU temp gauge but I just don't know what's too hot and what an average running temp shoud be
Sent from ?Hell? using Satan's Atrix HD Maxxx.. Running @ 1.89 GHz w/ CM11 & Arrrghhh kernel 3.0.101
I've heard from various sources that for ARM processors the nominal running temperature should be between 30-40° C and should never exceed 65° C.... which seems about right because 65° C is almost 150° F.

Hey bro.. Shoot me an Email address I can send that Kernel to. What phone you got? ROM? The one I've got is for CM11, but I think I've got the AOSP somewhere. The only issues I'm having with it are the auto rotation dosent auto rotate other than that smooth an buttery. Great governor and I/O schedulers too.. ..

I was just wondering how is it possible to score a fifty on linpack. The most I have got is 40 I achieved it on micromod and the muiu rom with 1228mhz avs cvs monks kernel. I'm on enoms latest and the most I can get is 38. I want to know how people get 50 at only 998mhz. Also about setting up swap and things

Same thing I am wondering, it makes me feel like my Phone is broken
I just dont understand how there phone's can go so fast and mine is currently maxed at 36
Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
the old version of linpack produced larger (incorrect) numbers.
i.e.
old version 45 mflops
new version 37 mflops
note: although I haven't proved this yet (I have a solid theory), but theming (specifically metamorphing) slows down the phone. I recommend ninja morph (same dev)
I'm on kang o rama and I'm getting 39 and 40 at 1190mhz 925v cfs aix avs monks kernel. Still want 50 though

Fixed WIFI reboots on some processors.
More speed in the first wifi connection.
Added more speed in the I / O
Repaired animations load the phone off (you do not know the gigs that I have taken this minutia)
Fixed consumption at all frequencies.
Added mine changes in CPU
Added changes in GPU.
Added hundreds of small changes in all the libraries ...
And a thousand things more

Acura 2201
This is the kernel to save power.
Speed is 1.3 and carries the termination LV referring to Low Voltage. Heh hehe me and my names.
If you have problems of fouling or Bluetooth does not work this kernel is not for you.
The voltages to the 800MHz band is very low. All for the low of 1.0.
And the maximum of 1,376 reduced to 1.35.
The GPU also has been lowered from 1.2 1.5
Telephone signal but also affect the power or signal reception. It is only during the call.
With these settings the battery increases the duration much. Without more testing time I can not give a figure, but in normal use can reach 15 hours without problems. That in mine never step 8. Very very lucky.
Now you tell me that this will go.

The link didn't work for me from my phone. But It did work from my computer. So give your computer a try if you have that option. Looking forward to flashing a kernel on this phone..just got my thrill a few days ago and was surprised at how recently it received gingerbread..if indeed it actually did. I had to search high and low for the flash file and follow a hack on xda to install it.....loved every minute of it..lol

The 100 min clock speed has worked great for me..very low power draw at sleep and I know at least pandora continues to play fine when screen is tuned off. Have you had issues with it or just being safe?

luv the hotplug
I love the hotplug gov. This phone is smooth as hell..I'm coming from an atrix that I had to give my wife as she didn't like the size and was scared by the 3d on this thrill. So im used to a fast phone and although it test out about the same as atrix it seems to run a lot smother and very glitch free. This hotplug gov seems to due a great job of controlling the cpu speed needed for battery life and functionality. Also rom toolbox works great for tweeking the memory and kernel settings among other things...awsome program I highly recommended it for this phone.

used nexus tool kit to temp boot into TWRP only to flash motley A33 kernel.
left all settings alone.
adjusted CPU speed from 1500 to 1700 and left everything else alone.
with my daily use i can get about 2 days of battery power mainly streaming netflix at night for about 3 hours for super natural.
this bench mark is fairly consistent at 1700, if i drop to 1500 CPU then the score drops back to around 5500.

Hey guys, San Andreas on Android is out now, and I must say the new graphics are perfect. However, to play lag-free, you have to disable beautiful graphic effects. At least on stock 4.1.2 with iodak v8 kernel.
And how it runs on your devices?
Here is the link:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rockstargames.gtasa
It doesnt work force closes after loading screen
I havent tried it yet, ill test on stock with various kernels and report
For me GTA: San Andreas is very laggy on highest graphic settings. I have to pull everything down to play it lagfree with WWJB V008b ([email protected],7Ghz, [email protected], Omni Rom 4.3.1) but this causes a lot of heat...Next to WWJB I just tried Omni Rom's stock kernel, with which a lagfree gameplay is nearly impossible.
In my opinion the touch control is not well made and a bit complicated. I recommend using a gamepad (eg. Sixaxis controller).
On Optimus Prime V2.7 it only works lagfree when all graphical details are disabled. Resolution needs to be set to max. 18% (but still looks good and causes not that much heat).
On kitkat stock kernel,it's smooth at resolution %50 ;draw distance %16;visual effects medium;shadows classic;car reflections deatiled.
I'm forgot i'm running with ART
Stock v20b ROM with its stock kernel working fine. All settings are in classic mode.
How do you disable foul language? There is no "block offensive words" option. Lol JK
