Is it possible to flash this one to an original Arc??

I have an unrooted locked BL arc s with french generic soft. Can i just download flashtools and select ftf file and tell it to flash or do i need to be rooted?

yes it should work....

Yes you can flash,nothing to lose anyway with locked bl and no root.

can we flash the rom but a custom kernel after ? I assume they will work as they work with the beta

[Q] New 253 FW and doomkernel v06

hello folks,
I have just installed the new 253 FW via PC Companion after relocking and restoring my TA partition via this wonderful tutorial and everything is smooth and perfect.
i'm planning to re-unlock my BL again to flash doomkernel which is very good in terms of battery life and performance (20+hrs regular uses/5hrs screen on time for me) and I was wondering if doomkernel v06 is compatible with the new 253 firmware?

I'm not "enraged" so please don't take offense, but you could/should just try things instead of asking, it could have taken all of 5 minutes to find out yourself, or look in the kernel thread where it might already have been answered.

Guys.. Yes, it works as long as you have an unlocked boot loader. tested and confirmed.

It most definately is not
& I can confirm that DoomKernel still works, both kernels are 4.1.2 based and there are no major changes (if any) between the 350 and 253 kernel.

Can anyone give me a link where I can find a Deodexed Firmware for Xperia TX ? I tried to look for one but couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated

That's because you cannot have a deodexed FTF file...
You can a FTF (Which will be odexed) or a stock based custom rom which can be flashed in recovery. For that you need root.

Is that link above enough to do some modding ? Because nearly all mods require a deodexed firmware.

Problem with the sound

Hi everybody, I have a xperia T with the stock rom 4.3 (9.2.A.1.205) - Rooted & Deodexed, I have a problem with the sound, what happens is that when I'm playing a youtube video, music, gaming, listening perfectly but after a minute or so is not heard nothing is muted completely what I'm playing. Any solution to this?. Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, the only mod that I have is [PORT][MOD][JB4.3] Xperia Z2 SystemUI & Home Universal for All Xperia's

One last question, if i flash the whole ftf, how I root this ftf if i have the Bootloader lock and I can´t Unlock that? Sorry for annoy you so much. thanks in advance

Root 4.1 ftf and then install the rom by the recovery! Because root 4.3 ftf there aren´t solution, there no way to root this ftf. Anyway thanks very much for your answers! :good:

perviously i was on4.4.2 that was rooted but for some reasons i have to flash stock rom of 4.4.4
can u gyes provide me the stock rom 4.4.2 of india
or give me the way to root 4.4.4 on xperia z c6602

You can update 4.4.4 through PC companion or SEUS for Xperia phones. Sony also provide *.ftf os file for almost all devices on his official website. You can flash that with the help of Flashtool with bootloader unlocked.

if u can provide an alternate link it will be helpful stock rom 4.4.2

Kindly don't follow Sony CC blindly. Just try to search by Developer world & than go to downloads on official website. But you must unlock your bootloader. Let see if I will get some time tomorrow than Surely will suggest you the link.
